This is my biggest issue with these story games. There’s so many ways to make money off games, and not limit the customers experience. To anyone who loves the roleplaying games, you can go to the Netflix games and play for free and not have ANY limitations on choices. The books are addictive and there is so many ranges of styles. At the moment its questionable for the past 2 days the book I’ve been reading has stopped working, it won’t allow me to click on to the next page I’m unsure if it has anything to do with the recent update. Just kind of disappointing as I have been given a book pass for this book today however I’m unable to use it as it’s not working. Tried reaching out to support not heard anything back as of yet. Thank you for your patience! 💎📚😊 ### 4/5 — Amazing game, but… with its flaws *2024-01-26* This game is amazing, I like that the stories immerse you and the characters have such depth. The graphics are also amazing and the song choices set the mood. I also like that its content takes a more mature road as most apps don’t accommodate for mature audiences the way this app does. However, this app isn’t without its flaws either. I can see that they have the potential for a good system in place with the need for gaining money by using gems, however, it is done so incredibly poorly. I would like to support this game but I cannot afford the VIP pass, so I have to remain free to play and whilst there is way to earn gems through tasks, daily wheel spins and inviting friends, you merely do not get enough to even be able to afford the choices in the game. I love that the choices impact the story later on but most of the time you cannot afford the choices that you want and it just entirely ruins the story because of the lack of gems you can earn. To afford these choices as a free to play I’ve had to earn them through surveys but by the time I get the small amount of gems from surveys I’m already bored of the story and upset with the app. This app is only rated 4 stars for me so far but it could get the 5 if I see some changes made. I really love this app and I hope it’ll become more user friendly. Reason why I love this game compared to other apps is the artwork, both the characters and the backgrounds. However started reading Scarlet Seduction and find it distracting because of the new character artwork. Hoping this is not a new trend, hate the new look, please change it back!! I have been playing it since almost its beginnings, but today I am equally happy and disappointed... well, I love that games evolve and I loved that in the new vampire book (which in fact I I love it) the characters will evolve, they look SO beautiful from the first character to the last, I loved them all and I couldn't decide on any one...excited I went to the other new wolf novel...AND OH SURPRISE! The same old characters were a total letdown...I hope the new vampire one isn't the first and last novel that has evolved characters, I swear I'm crossing my fingers. My other problem that I have been saying for a long time and I have already written about it, is the non-appearance of LGBTQ+ books (more specific to boy + boy) they only put girl x girl and personally it is already tired...I understand that the stories It is for a female audience but there are boys who also read and girls who love to read stories with gay romance...I just wish that in the NEAR future they add books like this and with evolved characters...I hope that this review is useful for something and that they read it all. **Developer response:** Dear Customer, Thank you for your review! It would take all day watching ads just to make one premium choice.. you don’t actually get to sit and enjoy the story unless you spend cash. With that being said even with watching the ads, it’s only 2 diamonds. Even the daily spin doesn’t help as it only lands on 2 diamonds or 1 ticket, it’s rigged, it never lands on anything else. You could do surveys to add up a couple diamonds but sometimes they don’t even give the full amount to you when you finish. There needs to be a better way of getting more diamonds without going broke. Otherwise the game would be wonderful. I’m on premium right now but doesn’t seem to benefit anything as even with paying $30 a month you still would have to pay ridiculous amounts to get diamonds so I’m unsubscribing from it. However! Having to wait hours to build up diamonds is annoying. You can do surveys, but a lot say you’re not what they’re looking for. The major issue I had is you could read 5 chapters from a similar game from the developers called passion for 400 diamonds, which I did, and at the end you had to pay for something (I forget what) so I did, it cost 80p, so I thought “why not”. A week later, I get charged almost £50, even though I didn’t download the app or authorise any subscription. It only worked for maybe a few days I contacted customer support about it and they told me they couldn’t fix it on their end, so I had to call Apple which I did, when I called Apple, they told me they’d give me a refund and that it was a problem on my fantasies end so I tried to contact my fantasy again after I had done so multiple times and they told me that they couldn’t fix the problem. The way that they responded was telling me that I would have to wait until there is an update. Which is the exact same thing they told me on the previous attempt to fix this problem which they had me wait a week until they just told me it was apples issue. They also told me they would transfer gems into my account for the problems but never did. You can earn diamonds or whatever they are called really easily however, I just started and I don’t know if it’s the same as the other stores but there are sooo many choices that involve the diamonds. It asked me for the last choice if I wanted to commit a relationship at the end of the story but you had to pay diamond's and I couldn’t use that option so they never dating . My Fantasy Team, Miia ### 2/5 — They’re Scamming with the Diamond/Gem Premium Choices!! *2023-08-12* I was actually going to give this game 5 stars because I like a lot of the stories, but after discovering what I’ve discovered I had to lower it. There’s a scam with the diamond choices. When you have a lot of diamonds the premium choices are extremely high such as 17 or 25 just for a small simple scene. Where as if you have a little diamonds the premium choices lower. So to test out if I thought I was going nuts I waited until another premium choice came up and when it did I tested my theory and in fact you guys do go up on the premium choices if someone has a lot of diamonds that way that person keeps spending money for diamonds. For instance I had 20 diamonds and so because of that the premium choice was 12 diamonds, but when I had added 200 diamonds the same premium choice went up to 25. You guys are scamming. The premium choices amount should not be constantly changing. Also why should I have to pay 25 diamonds for one outfit I’m going to wear one time and one hair I’m going to wear one time. The stories are spicy I absolutely enjoy the premium scenes, but it’s not worth scams. Do better! ### 3/5 — My Fantasy. Honestly there is times that I need to pay for the one I already pay, I gave a lot of diamonds that I only have a few left so I couldn’t get to finish, I still need to pay to get diamonds so if others play this game but they can’t afford then how would they enjoy this game. In the beginning I enjoyed it, prices were reasonable and I even paid for subscriptions and diamonds/tickets over time. Occasionally, I had issues with my being double charged and not being able to access my account, but customer service was always very fast to solve my issues. A few months ago, I deleted the app to make room for my phone but has a chance of heart and decided to redownload it again a few weeks ago. Despite logging into my old account, all of my old diamonds/tickets went away! I submitted multiple emails to customer service and only received an unhelpful generic response that didn’t even solve my problem. As of today I still haven’t gotten any reply, my diamonds/tickets are still missing and I paid a lot for them! Not worth downloading or attempting until they fix their glitches and customer service issues. Re-downloaded it because I really enjoyed one of the stories and wanted to finish. The new upgrades have made it even more terrible. The characters are so hideous and very creepy looking and look nothing like the characters on the thumbnails. Why would you change them to resemble characters out of a cheap AI horror movie where everyone’s made of wax?! Every “option” that is given is between an exciting pay wall option or a generic option that leaves your character making an objectively uninteresting decision that barely progresses the story line. If you choose all of the free to choose options your character will do absolutely nothing interesting until 45 minutes of soulless dialogue later when the climax of the story occurs and even the free to choose option is mildly entertaining at best. Any clothing options presented have two interesting styles to pay for and then they masterfully leave the free option as a frumpy, thoughtless mess that the app will then proceed to ask you “are you happy with this choice.” The developer clearly trying to shame you regarding the forced free choices that you have no choice to make without paying ridiculous prices for in-app currency. Further disappointing is the dialogue options that hint at an underlying karma system that affects story progression but that is entirely not the case and your decisions are left wanting, impotent, and overall fruitless. SUGGESTION: for those of us that pay for the VIP plans (I have both vip & premium access) and therefore don’t need tickets to read books. On the daily spinning wheel can we get other options for winning besides tickets we don’t use? The way they added the adverb tenderly just sent shocks through my spinal cord, it buttered my toast and cooked my bacon, it cracked my eggs and poured me orange juice. You can watch a video every 30 minutes for 5 gems. You gain tokens in the game which you can swap for gems. Every time you complete a chapter you get 2 gems or can watch a video for 5 gems. There is daily login which gives you some money, gems and tokens. There is a daily spin board which gives you a free amount of items (ie; 10 gems) You can invite friends to download the app for 360 gems. And you can watch a 30 second video for 1 pass (to read a story), which can be done over and over again. And the amount of gems needed for certain replies in the game vary, sometimes it could be 19 gems, sometimes 12 gems. If you have played a variety of the games out there already (ie; Episode, Chapters) you’ll know how hard it is to get gems and majority of the time don’t have easy ways of gaining more or simply just want you to pay real money for them. This game actually gives you the ability to continue playing daily, without needing money or going with the options you don’t like because you don’t have a choice. Definitely recommend!
