## What is My Gas Price?

Follow the natural gas price, log your gas meter readings and see what your use costs – today and for the rest of the year. My Gas Price brings the Danish gas price, consumer prices in 23 EU countries, Europe's gas storage and your own consumption together in one place.

GAS PRICES NOW
• Danish gas price per m³, kWh or MWh in DKK – with or without taxes
• Price breakdown: gas, distribution, taxes and VAT, and how often each part changes
• Consumer prices for 23 EU countries in local currency, from Eurostat
• Choose your country – including the UK, Poland, Finland, Switzerland and Norway – and see your own price and your country's official price: Ofgem's price cap (UK), CRE (France), TUR (Spain), ARERA (Italy), Destatis (Germany), CBS (Netherlands)
• Price level: is gas cheap or expensive compared with the past year and the same month last year?

UNDERSTAND EUROPE'S GAS MARKET
• The Danish wholesale price (EEX EGSI from Energinet) in EUR/MWh with daily, weekly and monthly change
• The wholesale price explained: spot, forward and TTF, what moves the price, and why your bill doesn't follow today's price
• Europe's gas storage over the last month, and how gas storage works
• The market price over the last 30 days, and outside Denmark the Dutch TTF price as a monthly average

YOUR CONSUMPTION – FREE TO START
• Consumption log: enter your meter reading, scan the meter with the camera, or import old readings or your daily use from a file from your gas supplier – 6 readings and 2 scans free
• A reminder to read the meter on the 1st of every month, and a Siri shortcut for meter readings
• Your own gas price – a fixed price too – and what your use costs
• Your use in m³ or kWh, and your price with a fixed charge per day, month or year, as on your bill
• One price alert, one savings calculation, a gas price widget and the gas price on Apple Watch
• Export your readings as CSV – always free

PREMIUM
• Unlimited readings and scans, your use over the last 12 months and comparison with last year
• Weather-adjusted use: how much of the change is down to milder or colder weather?
• Year forecast and winter budget at your own price
• Do your monthly payments fit? See whether your payments on account match your use
• More homes and meters, such as a holiday home
• Price changes with dates and the gas bill split into gas, distribution, taxes, subscription and VAT
• What price changes of ±10–30% mean for you
• Every savings calculation: more degrees, shorter showers and a water-saving shower head
• The full price history, consumer prices for every year, more price alerts and the TTF price back to 2015
• Day-by-day storage fill level for Europe, Denmark and every country, injection and withdrawal, compared with the past five years
• Consumption widget and your use on Apple Watch

TRANSPARENT AND PRIVATE
Every estimate shows its assumptions, and missing data is never filled in with guesses. No account needed. Your consumption is stored only on your device and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud. The weather for weather adjustment comes from Apple Weather for a place you choose. The app is available in 18 languages.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-18

New in 1.0.4:
• The widget and Apple Watch now show the price in your own currency and unit: your own price if you have entered it, otherwise Ofgem's price cap in pence per kWh in the UK, the estimate with all taxes in Denmark or your country's average price. The wholesale price only appears when there is nothing else to show.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-14

New in 1.0.3:
• Choose your country, now including the UK, Poland, Finland, Switzerland and Norway. Once you have entered your price, the front page shows what your gas costs today, this month and over the year.
• Your country's official gas price on the front page: Ofgem's price cap in the UK, CRE's reference price in France, the regulated TUR tariffs in Spain, ARERA's gas cost in Italy, Destatis' household average in Germany and CBS's average tariffs in the Netherlands. In the UK you can use the price cap as your own price with one tap.
• Outside Denmark the front page follows Europe's wholesale market as the monthly average of the Dutch TTF price.
• See your use in m³ or kWh, and enter the fixed charge per day, month or year as on your bill.
• The consumption log is free to start: 6 readings and 2 scans, your own gas price and what your use costs.
• Import old readings, or your use per day or half-hour, from a file from your gas supplier, and export your readings as CSV.
• One price alert, one savings calculation, the gas price widget and the gas price on Apple Watch are now free.
• New in Premium: weather-adjusted use, a year forecast, comparison with last year, price changes with dates, a check of your monthly payments, more homes and meters (such as a holiday home), your region and payment method under the UK price cap, an estimate of today's consumer price from the monthly price index, and the TTF price back to 2015.
• Save gas calculates with your own price or your country's consumer price and currency.
• Price history is free for the last 30 days. The full history and consumer prices for every year are now part of Premium.
