### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time.

*2021-08-01, version 3.1.2*

Downloaded this app, had to create my profile 3 times only to find out the app doesn’t work at all.
Enormous waste of time…
Giving it 1 star because it won’t let me give zero!

### 1/5 — Constant Crashing won’t save info!

*2021-07-30, version 3.1.2*

First off let’s start with it will not save my profile (Age, Weight, height etc). Whenever I try to put the profile info in it says “Profile Saved” then it jumps back to the screen to put the info in AGAIN. This app also won’t find ANY food I search for it always give me an error. So, I’m rating 1 star because the app just won’t work! It seems like a neat idea and maybe I’ll be back with it’s fixed but as of now I’m deleting this app.

### 1/5 — Won’t move past create profile

*2021-07-28, version 3.1.2*

Zombie app?

### 1/5 — Crashed the first time I used it...

*2021-06-13, version 3.1.2*

Attempted to set up profile and app locked up....

### 1/5 — Not happy

*2021-06-05, version 3.1.2*

Can’t even use it just keeps freezing

### 1/5 — Pay Twice?

*2021-05-15, version 3.1.2*

Paid for premium.
Premium features no longer work.
Wants me to pay again.
Really?

### 1/5 — Not worth $1.99

*2021-03-10, version 3.1.2*

I regret paying for premium. There’s no ability to scan food barcodes to search for, it better yet, ADD foods to the limited database. Doesn’t provide daily totals of nutrients. I can get daily totals of my nutrients through the free version of My Fitness Pal, plus I have access to an extremely robust database that has nearly everything I eat and use of a barcode scanner. And, in MFP, you can also import online recipes using the URL or manually enter any recipe to see the nutritional info. This app has a very long way to go to be useful.

### 1/5 — Useless!

*2021-01-09, version 3.1.2*

Slow, old technology and doesn’t work. At least I only blew $1.99.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t fit in phone screen

*2020-08-30, version 2.7*

Doesn’t allow me to finish modifying for bro’s specific needs because won’t scroll up all the way and won’t toggle the save button.

### 1/5 — My HealthyKidney

*2019-10-02*

Before whole foods (like plain oatmeal) every kind of processed and fast food is listed. Many ordinary foods (like regular whole milk) are not listed at all. Quantities are way out of whack - 1 cup cheddar cheese cubes (yup high fat but would you eat this much?) - 1 oz skim milk (what would this small amount be used for?).
Bought this app to help me simplify diet but spend more time sorting out app itself than I would if I googled each food.
Not even cheap at the low price - do not buy.

### 1/5 — No foods in search

*2019-08-23, version 1.10*

I can’t find any foods such as peanut butter.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2025-07-05, version 3.1.2*

How do you use an app that won’t let you use it? I wish I could rate it at zero.

### 1/5 — Abandoned

*2024-06-30, version 3.1.2*

Can’t create and save profile. Should not be on the store

### 1/5 — Would not record profile or proceed

*2024-01-20, version 3.1.2*

I entered all my profile info and pressed done then Save and the app took me back to the create profile screen and would not proceed.

### 1/5 — Does not work on iPhone would not search anything.

*2023-01-02, version 3.1.2*

No good

### 1/5 — Hard to track food!

*2022-09-12, version 3.1.2*

Tried to start off with tracking a simple apple. Wouldn’t even come up on the search results, just apple as an ingredient in other things.

If I can’t get the thing to track a simple food it is not worth my time.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2022-05-29, version 3.1.2*

Lot of lag confusing interface not worth it

### 1/5 — Could be a good app BUT

*2022-04-27, version 3.1.2*

Read all the negative reviews because I also experienced the same problems. I WANT MY $1.99 back.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t actually work

*2022-04-14, version 3.1.2*

Asks to create a profile says it saves it then just asks for a profile again. Obviously not quality software.

### 1/5 — Complete garbage

*2022-04-08, version 3.1.2*

above it not fitting on a standard iPhone with buttons falling off the screen, there are ads for installs and you have to watch a video to add more favorites. I understand ads for free apps but this implementation is horrible.

### 1/5 — Wrong info!!

*2021-12-08, version 3.1.2*

Don’t trust this app!! I tested the information and found it to be incorrect!! Don’t trust your health or your pocketbook with this app!!
Very disappointing!!!

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great application

*2021-09-11, version 3.1.2*

Very useful application, recommended for all CKD patients

### 4/5 — I wish it had a calculator

*2020-05-04, version 2.5*

I like that it has a search engine for foods but I wish it totaled for the day the nutrients like my fitness pal.

### 3/5 — Many basic items not shown

*2021-12-12, version 3.1.2*

Displayed data sometimes conflicting.

### 3/5 — Manually add foods

*2021-07-14, version 3.1.2*

I just purchased the full version but am not seeing my brand item. Please make it possible to add foods manually that are not in the data base.

### 3/5 — This would be great if you could add products to the list.

*2020-10-15, version 2.7.1*

It keeps up with the basic things pretty well. My protein powder isn’t listed. It would be great to be able to add that.

### 3/5 — Searching

*2020-07-01, version 2.5*

It would take less time for us to search foods if the app allowed us to scan items directly. Especially shopping with children who are on a kidney diet.

### 3/5 — Special diet

*2019-10-16, version 2.3*

Looking for a program that I can set the levels of protein and carbs,, right now . gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, kindeny problems and diabetic too. . Thank you for your time and efforts

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2025-02-01, version 3.1.2*

I had high hopes for this app, but, alas let down. Search for foods is too narrow. I typed in the exact name as on the label, tried scanning the bar code, tried just by product name and nothing. I paid the 1.99 and still worthless. I was also under the impression from description that this would track his meals on daily basis. Not so. You can add food to basket but then you still have to log and calculate sodium, potassium and phosphorus from daily limits. So will be deleting this one also. Hopefully nephrologist that my husband sees will have a recommendation.
