## What is My JRNL?

Your journal, with a voice on the other side.

My JRNL is a talk-to-it journal. Say what's on your mind — out loud or typed — and a warm, sharp companion answers: one honest question at a time, pulling toward what's really going on. Say "done" and the whole session becomes a page in your book.

And it is a book. Your history is a real notebook — flip through your days page by page, jump to any date from a bookmark calendar. Your streak is a fire that grows from ember to bonfire. Your goals live on a corkboard you can pin, string together, and roam like a detective wall.

A PROMPT WRITTEN FOR YOU
Every morning, one question — written from what you've actually been writing about. Not a generic quote of the day. Yours.

THE DAILY JRNL
A one-to-three-minute read, written for you each day from your own week. Honest, plain words about the thing you're actually living — delivered like a little morning paper, with a reminder when it's ready.

SEE YOUR PATTERNS
Mood as a weather board — two weeks of days, colored by how they felt. Tap any day and ask "why this day?" Weekly reflections, monthly chapters written like a book about your life, and a Life Map of what keeps coming up.

BUILD YOUR DAYS
Habits with streaks, levels, and challenges. A gratitude journal you can flip like its own little book. Letters to your future self, sealed until their day comes. A vision board with photos, sticky notes, and red string — pin, resize, rotate, rewrite, and connect the pieces of the life you're building.

SAY IT, THEN BURN IT
The Burn Journal saves nothing. Get it out — speak it or type it — strike the match, watch it go. No trace.

YOURS, ACTUALLY
Your entries belong to you. AI features are off until you say yes, and you can switch them off anytime. Delete your account and everything goes with it. Make it yours with themes, fonts, and colors — the whole app re-inks itself around your choices.

Start talking. Your journal is listening.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-17

What's New in 1.1.0

- Lock your journal. Turn on Face ID lock in Settings and your journal opens only for you — it locks itself again whenever you leave the app.

- Find any entry. Search your whole journal from History — type a word and flip straight to the day you wrote it.

- A fresh front page. Home now leads with your day — streak, quests, and today's prompt waiting on the cover of your journal — with everything else arranged by how often you reach for it.

- Paper that feels like paper. Journal pages, prompts, and letters now have torn deckle edges, like they came off a real notepad.

Plus: smoother notifications, a more reliable vision board, and little fixes throughout.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-24

The big one — My JRNL got a full redesign:

• Your history is now a real notebook — flip page by page through your days, jump to any date
• A new Home built around your streak: a leather desk with a fire that grows from ember to bonfire
• The Vision Board grew up: pan and zoom a big corkboard, resize, rotate, and edit every note, and connect them with red string
• Mood is a weather board now — your days as colored tiles, with milestones and celebrations
• Fresh hand-drawn icons, a warmer journal screen, and your theme color now flows through everything — pins, stickies, buttons
• Voice input everywhere: journal, gratitude, even the Burn Journal
• Dozens of small fixes, including cleaner audio when recording (your music pauses instead of muffling)

### 1.0 — 2026-07-20
