Replaced phone, now unable to configure lock, have to reset lock, can’t reset because I don’t have the master code, the app clears the code! ### 1/5 — Just needed a password reset *2022-06-30, version 2.4.0* I got a new cell phone and needed to login to the my key mobile app and the forgot password link did not recognize my phone number and a new registration says my number is already linked. No link for forgot username. I called Menards where I bought the TruBolt lock to get a phone number. A quick easy password reset is beyond the developer at this moment, waiting three plus hours to make a door lock code in the application. Find a lock that does not use the my key mobile app. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2022-06-10, version 2.4.0* I got a new phone and tried to log in and it don’t recognize my password. I did the password reset a million times and I still can’t get in. No tech support and no help whatsoever. Never buying a lock that uses this app again. Now I have an Airbnb that has the same code because I can’t change it. NEVER AGAIN ### 1/5 — Awful *2022-02-18, version 2.4.0* Not sure if it’s the app or the device but the app unlock button locks the door and lock button unlocks the door. Also when you remove a code the code does not remove. If I could give this zero stars I would. Save the money. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2021-11-14, version 2.4.0* We just purchased a lock today from the store. Putting it in was easy, setting it up isn’t. We can’t even register it at the first screen because it tells us on each of ours phones that it can’t connect to either WiFi or cellular data, which both are turned on and connected. It doesn’t even search for anything, it just automatically pops up saying it can’t connect and won’t send us our code. Looked in our phone settings, there is no reason why this should be a problem. There is no help anywhere online because the manufacturer’s website doesn’t even have trouble shooting or a register option on their website, which is really weird considering this app has 2 stars so you would think they would create a website registration option instead of this app since clearly it has issues. Needless to say we are returning this ASAP and finding a lock with better standards to their buyers and system. For the night we are now stuck with our passcode being the 1234 code that it comes with, something someone would never guess 🙄 ### 1/5 — Save your money *2021-11-13, version 2.4.0* App doesn’t even let me register if zero starts was an option you bet I would be choosing that. ### 1/5 — Wish I would have read before buying *2021-06-10, version 2.3.1* I bought us a new smart lock today that works with Bluetooth and uses this app. I was excited to upgrade to one we could use Alexa with but now, my husband can’t log into the app and I can’t do anything other than lock and unlock our door with the app. I have messaged customer service but nothing yet. I can’t even login myself on the website or via Alexa. DO NOT BUT ANYTHING THAT USES THIS APP! ### 1/5 — No app support *2021-02-27, version 2.2.3* Installed lock. Directions were horrible. Could not register app. And there were no directions to set code manually. Removed lock and installed another brand. Easy access to 13 different locks, shares keys and admin easily, deletes shared codes when necessary… really top notch and easy to use. Nightmare. This app made it super easy. I can even lock and unlock the door from inside my house. I haven’t tried away from home, but I have zero expectation of that. I just want to program the code easily and this app did exactly that. I may never use it again, who knows. It did what I want.
