### 2/5 — Tasks are listed multiple times

*2026-09-01, version 10.3.2*

I generally like the app and that it plans out my fertilizer schedule for the season. However, recently the app shows the same product needing to be applied on the same date multiple times. App appears to have a bug.

### 2/5 — Ok… but

*2026-07-18, version 10.3.1*

It’s a decent app for a reminder of when to apply fertilizer and tracking water. Some of the issues I have is that if tripled my recommended activity and I can’t delete it. You have to skip the activity. So now instead of 1 application I have 4.
Water tracking is iffy and sometimes it won’t add your watering data until the next day

### 2/5 — Review

*2026-07-17, version 10.3.1*

It’s alright, mostly helps track but definitely some big deficiencies. When searching products you can’t find a lot of their products, especially the turf builder program, only what they assign to you even though it’s not what exactly is right for my yard. Also doesn’t let you change lawn size or even name of the lawn. Won’t save dates when trying to adjust the actual calendar to schedule applications. Wish they would fix this and it would be a great app. Until then….

### 3/5 — Notifications

*2026-06-07, version 10.3.0*

Five stars on the suggestions and schedule of application. Zero star on the lack of notifications. Unless I remember to open the app every few days to see what I need to apply to my lawn, I will miss the application time window cause the app does not lacks a notifications feature.

### 3/5 — Poor Interaction

*2026-06-05, version 10.3.0*

The app is totally useless in attempting to let the company know about personal experiences. For example, after a recent purchase of Scott’s MAX Weed & Feed from Costco, I attempted to include the product in my lawn care plan. The app doesn’t allow for inclusion of that product & the AI tool used on the app to supply that information to Scott’s wants to help me find a product for use. A simple option to include the product in my program would resolve the issue but without the ability to communicate with a human being simply forfeits the opportunity for the proper use of the app.

### 2/5 — I really want to use this app

*2026-04-04, version 10.2.4*

Every year it’s the same thing. Fight the login screen. Reenter all the lawn information from previous years. Get a plan and then the app resets the data. I’m better off creating my own plan on my kid’s chalkboard.

### 3/5 — No manual override for rainfall

*2026-04-01, version 10.2.4*

I have my own weather station and the app was 0.5 inches short of the rainfall total. I appreciate the attempt to automate the rainfall, but there should be a way to make an adjustment to that, like an offset from the automated amount, including the date. The water I add should not be the way to offset the rainfall.

### 1/5 — Not all Scott’s Products Listed

*2026-03-25, version 10.2.4*

I would give the app at least 4 stars but customer support tells me the app only lists their most popular products. I’ve been using their 4 step product and am baffled why it isn’t part of the available lawn products. In my mind, if it has Scott’s name on it, it should be listed.

### 1/5 — No Longer Working

*2026-03-21, version 10.2.4*

Looks like this app is no longer providing recommendations. 2026 is blank. I should have my first fertilizer recommendation in March. Nothing!!!!

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2026-03-21, version 10.2.4*

App wants all your info and works horribly

### 2/5 — Scotts products not available

*2026-03-15, version 10.2.4*

I tried to make schedule for this year by trying to add the scott’s fertilizer products but it doesn’t show all the products in the searches. It used to show them till last year. Could you please add all scotts products including their descriptions, fertilizer analysis, when to apply them etc. I think that information is why I installed this app last year. If the products are removed from the searches and if we are not able to add them to the schedule on this app, I don’t think there is a point to still have this app on my mobile.

### 1/5 — No longer providing guidance

*2026-03-14, version 10.2.4*

Not sure what happened but the calendar for what to apply when is no longer working. It’s literally just a rain tracker at this point.

Was awesome but not really worth taking up space on your phone until they fix it.

### 1/5 — App broken

*2026-03-14, version 10.2.4*

It’s not giving me any product recommendations this year. Such a bummer - I’ve used this app every spring for more than 10 years and two different houses! Please fix it!!!

### 2/5 — After update …

*2026-03-08, version 10.2.4*

No longer can see the products that are scheduled. I can only see the dates of when to apply a blank product. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No
Luck

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2026-02-15, version 10.2.3*

Worked great last year but I could not log in this year. I finally was forced to put in a new password. When I did get in the lawn plan setup was confusing and I gave up.

### 4/5 — Some bugs

*2026-02-10, version 10.2.3*

Update: they fixed my problem. 4 stars because it still has some bugs

This app was great to track water usage and lawn products… until I opened the app today and was logged out. Can’t log back in. App claims my account does not exist. I guess yall just nuked my account? Thanks for that.

### 1/5 — Still not satisfied with app

*2026-02-06, version 10.2.3*

I was trying to add a product to my calendar and when that product wasn’t available I entered into a chat with a live agent. At first he couldn’t understand what I wanted to do so I sent him a screen shot. The said “Thank you! Just one moment please.” So I waited for about 5 minutes and then I received a message “Chat Ended”. So I wasted 45 minutes of my time to have this happen.

### 1/5 — Could not get past login screen

*2026-02-02, version 10.2.3*

I was not able to even pass the login screen to use this app. Whenever I would go Create a Plan or Find My Grass Type, the page would continue loading and fail each time. I tried with different variables (different locations, knowing grass type vs not) but no success.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App is pure trash

*2026-08-19, version 10.3.1*

Can’t update the seed that has been applied, because it always says no connection to Internet. Which isn’t the case. On top of that you could rarely get logged in because it wants you to immediately set up a new account and not bring you to the login screen. The developers of this app make it very clear that they don’t care about if it even works or not. Due to the difficult nature to even use the app I have canceled my Scott’s Long account.

### 1/5 — Water tracking not accurate

*2026-07-17, version 10.3.1*

It says my zip code has received a record amount of rain for today, over 3 inches! Which, is not true, it has not rained in over a week. I was hoping to use this as a reminder to water, but with inaccurate rain totals for my zip code, this isn’t going to work as I was hoping.

### 1/5 — What Happened!

*2026-07-04, version 10.3.1*

This app was my go to app every year for years and now all of a sudden products that we usually use are no longer in the selection, but I can go to local store and buy it …. Text Support is absolutely useless. Extremely frustrating when you used a product for years flawlessly and then all of a sudden it stops working.

### 1/5 — Downhill & Inaccurate

*2026-06-12, version 10.3.0*

App used to be great until last year (2025) started seeing VERY misleading rain tracker. For example two days ago (4) other platforms confirmed a huge storm we had at 2.37” of rain. This app says 0.1” and yes the location is confirmed. It was a fun run but has been downhill since starting 2025. I’ll be deleting this app.

### 1/5 — Literally fails to load. Just says error with no further details.

*2026-06-05, version 10.3.0*

Sounds great. Can’t use it.

### 1/5 — No longer works correctly with Apple sign in

*2026-04-12, version 10.2.4*

When I try to use apple sign in that I set up years ago for this app, it wants me to sign into my actual Apple account. Not sharing my Apple ID and password with an app.

### 1/5 — App ruined

*2026-04-06, version 10.2.4*

Used to be this app was helpful. As it is now, won’t even let me sign in or start new account without typing in my AppleID password. No thank you. Signing in via Apple password is supposed to be seamless, in the background and encrypted, not ‘type it in for the masses’.

### 1/5 — Used to work

*2026-04-06, version 10.2.4*

Signing in this year, it shows 4 separate applications of each treatment. I verified that I only show one lawn in my profile. Deleting…

### 1/5 — No longer useful.

*2026-03-28, version 10.2.4*

This app used to be great for creating plans and tracking application of products. But the app no longer creates an annual plan and most of Scott’s products no longer are visible in the app. Making the app no longer useful.

### 1/5 — What happened?!

*2026-03-26, version 10.2.4*

I’ve used this app for many years and has been very helpful. Now with this update it is broken! Crabgrass preventer product? Not listed! Could go on but you get the point. They broke what used to be a very useful app by adding a lot of other features while breaking what I used the app for in the first place!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-04-17, version 10.2.5*

I find it very helpful.

### 5/5 — Part time App

*2026-02-02, version 10.2.3*

When the App works It has certainly showed me a lawn plan that I use. Other than that it’s hard to maneuver and slow doesn’t connect at all sometimes. I have tried to buy products from them several times and it just doesn’t work ! Was on it today just to submit I applied my February application and I couldn’t even do that. Very Frustrating, Mikes Turf

### 5/5 — Excellent and simple to use

*2025-10-20, version 10.2.1*

I’ve used this app for one year and successfully got me to an amazingly green lawn. My evidence is multiple neighbors, stopping by asking me how my lawn got so green and thick. Thank you Scott’s!!

### 5/5 — Great tool

*2025-06-11, version 10.1.23*

This app gives you a pretty good idea of sq footage of your lawn and suggests what type of products to put on and when to do it. It also lets you know if and how much water needs to be applied.
The app also gives you the right date to put its product on

### 5/5 — It works. My lawn looks amazing.

*2025-06-01, version 10.1.23*

Nuff said.

### 5/5 — Good lawn app

*2025-05-22, version 10.1.23*

This app does what it supposed to do. Tells you what product and when to apply it and give other recommendations. One big problem I have with it is when to apply lawn care and weed control products. They say in the north east late spring. Weeds are crazy by that point. I think the app needs to update weather info. It’s warmer in the NE earlier now. I applied crabgrass then weed control earlier this year and it worked great. Other than timing this app does a good job.

### 5/5 — Lawn is dialed in

*2024-04-28, version 10.1.15*

I am on my 4th year using the Scott’s program and app on my lawn. My lawn is green all season long, has virtually no weeds, no pests, and is thick and healthy. I have zero complaints.

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2023-08-24, version 10.1.11*

Ever since I’ve downloaded the app and followed what it shows me my grass is looking greener and greener. 👍

### 5/5 — K. Blue

*2023-07-05, version 10.1.10*

First time using app, answer the questions follow the instructions didn’t look for specials on fertilizers just bought what the app told me to buy. My grass has never look as beautiful.

### 5/5 — Green Dude

*2023-06-28, version 10.1.10*

Love the app. Can’t go wrong on staying with the program that is set for you.
