It’s relatively easy to use. There are some minor issues that need to be handed. 1/ the Dashboard only displays electricity usage from one panel at a time. I have 3 panels. The 2 sub panels are filled with smart breakers, but it only displays usage from one. The one drawing the most power. It used to be random. 2/ energy cost calculation doesn’t have all available rates for my provider (one of the largest in the country) and you can’t enter custom tiered rates. 3/ the load center/panel data is slow to update. This prevents load confirmation on circuits. 4/ (very minor) clicking on a load center on the dashboard doesn’t open the load center display. One is that I think they could make it so they can add different buildings and then add room in those buildings on a single property. So handy to be able to turn things on and off either manual by schedule. For me, I use it as an electricity saving tool to shut off all the TVs and outlets plugged in that are not being used when I am gone. Also nice to have a “panic “function that turns all the lights on need to get out quick. For me simple to install and integrate. It also integrates into so if the thermostat comes on, I can have the ceiling fans come on and when it goes off ceiling fans go off. They are great because we have them all on one app and can control them as needed. Great app and the 2nd generation gave greater flexibility! I keep adding new controls! Recently added Ned plug in dimmers and two ceiling fan controllers. Love being able to check if I’ve left one on in another room and turning it off from the app! Great tech! It’s been more than 5 years now since I started adding my Leviton WiFi controlled switches and I love them! And the flexibility of the wireless remotes allowed me to solve for a missing switch to my lanai! And now, I’ve been able to sync the app with Alexa to control lighting, including dimming and fan speed changes, by voice! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Why keep asked me rate *2026-07-19, version 3.104* I already rate and keep pop up rates. Very annoying ### 1/5 — thanks for deleting everything *2026-07-18, version 3.104* just got the latest update (july 2026). upon this update every single device and scene i have has been deleted. all of them. i have 14. now i get to go add them all back. including one on a very high shelf with tricky access, and another behind the clothes washer. additionally there's the push for more personal information - is this a business or home, what's your address, etc. i'm tired of the surveillance. and i'm not alone. as of this iteration of the app, stay away is my advice. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2026-07-14, version 3.104* We changed the Wi-Fi in our house and you can’t go on the app and simply change the Wi-Fi. You’ve got to go find the device be a little electrician in order to reboot it. You still call service they can’t help you and then the installers have to set you up on a so-called schedule when they’ll be in the area. What’s the purpose of paying all this money to have the lights when you change your Wi-Fi and you can’t go on the app to simply signal to change the Wi-Fi ### 1/5 — Does not integrate *2026-07-07, version 3.104* Very limited integration options. Their cloud service constantly goes down and breaks my connection to my hub which in turn breaks the connection of the switches to that hub. The Leviton app did so today when I had an urgent need to turn on some devices where I couldn’t get to the physical switch. To my surprise I was logged out. I keyed in my password, invalid. Tried again with displaying the characters, still invalid. Reset the password, reset successful. Login with EXACT same password used in reset, invalid again. So aggravating and 15 minutes later I still can’t access my own account. ### 1/5 — Bad update *2026-07-02, version 3.104* 2FA does not work, keeps saying “code expired@ unable to log in. The TV turns off. You open the app, press the On button expecting to override the scheduled off time. Chaos!! The device turns on. Then off again! Then on! Then off! ### 1/5 — Prior devices gone *2026-04-24, version 3.98* I have been using this app to manage my devices for years. With this new version, they are all gone. My devices are in a different location and all of a sudden I can’t control them. I have to drive to where the devices are and add them back to control them. No bridge required which is why we chose these. Easy to install and setup. Works great with Alexa too, which is a plus. Great assortment of choices to adjust everything from bright or dimmed, scheduling options, easy to use app. You can also adjust the light on the actual switch itself. Wether you like to have the little green light on the bottom to signify the switch is on or off, or turn the light off completely.
