It opens, but does not recognize my username and will also not allow me to create an account. The screw just does nothing. Useless!!! ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2025-12-29, version 4.12* As many others have written on the internet this is a bad app. It doesn’t allow you to enter your info to create an account. I have never seen this on any app but this app and calling into support doesn’t help. Many people have posted this same problem and nothing is done about it!! How can a user unfreeze the page so they can create an account???? ### 1/5 — App Does Not Work *2025-12-23, version 4.12* App simply freezes when trying to create a new account. It serves no purpose if it can’t be used. Please step up your game! ### 1/5 — Frustrating app *2025-12-18, version 4.11* I have reviewed the tutorials in the app but I am unable to do any of the things shown. All of these functions (add responder, edit responder) are greyed out. I should be able to do these things directly. I expected more from Lifeline. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2025-09-02, version 4.11* This app is JUNK! Caregivers mysteriously change, can’t change caregiver order, emergency notification button is unavailable. Customer service said this app is being developed - like what????? Should have done research on the app before buying the system. No confidence. It deserves ZERO stars ### 1/5 — Service ok, app is garbage. *2025-08-11, version 4.10* Incorrect locations. Unlisted caregivers. False notifications. Can’t change caregiver email (despite “changed” message). I’ve been in software 40 years this is the worst piece of junk I’ve ever worked with. ### 1/5 — USELESS waste of time *2025-04-19, version 4.9* I downloaded the app a few months ago. It’s useless because it won’t even let me create an account. After entering my name and phone number and requesting a verification code the app displays the pinwheel of death forever. I try this every few weeks and always get the same result. Total waste of time. Does Lifeline even have a server for the app to communicate with? ### 1/5 — The app does not allow a customer to manage their own information. *2025-02-10, version 4.8* I have spent countless hours so many since I first got this wonderful device. I worked in healthcare and I always recommend Recommended lifeline over any other medical alert system. It's the best. However I've spent countless hours trying to get basic tasks completed. And the customer service reps can't even help me. I tried to change my credit card information and even the customer service person either tells me I need to wait 24 to 48 hours to have them call me back. I have done that three times over the past six weeks and no one ever calls me. As I say this basic task of changing my credit card information has not been possible. The page on the app is encrypted so the customer can enter it. The only way the Customer Service) people can help you is to enter your credit card information for you. People want their information private. I would recommend a complete overhaul of this app and training the customer service people on how to work with the app. This is a serious flaw and quite frankly I've run out of patience this is not how I want to spend my time. I may have to find another service. I expected more of Lifeline as they are such a reputable company. Please get your act together Lifeline. ### 1/5 — Poor Start *2025-01-22, version 4.8* Can’t set up; should fix! ### 1/5 — Poor GPS location *2024-09-19, version 4.7* We have the Lifeline service for 2 reasons - fall detection and locating a parent when they have not come home. GPS location shown in the Lifeline app is consistently wrong. When my parents are home, the app shows them across the street or next door - not helpful to emergency personnel in case of a fall. When they are out and about, their reported location is minutes to an hour behind their actual location, and “refresh” button doesn’t change anything. I called customer service and was told *they* do have the actual location even though the app doesn’t. But customer service isn’t able to pass my concern on to whoever is in charge of app development. We have switched to this service because insurance pays for it.
