## What is My Lists?

Proudly NOT collecting your private data for over a decade — We debuted on the App Store on July 13th, 2008. Not once have we asked users to sign away data about themselves or their lists. Updated to latest version of iOS and iPadOS.

Make lists for anything you need from shopping lists to movies to ideas for your novel, notes for a class to restaurants to try. Add images to your list items with the Photo Checklists option or keep track of notes with the Notes View to help manage larger amounts of data. You can keep track of additional information by adding images to the details view of an item in ANY list type. My Lists contains many great tools which allow you to share, sort, and reorder your lists and items the way that you need in order to effectively manage your daily life.

Has anyone else had this problem?  I have used My Lists for many years and have loved it.  I had a massive amount of data stored on both iPhone and iPad that is important to me.  I opened the app today on both devices and all my data was gone.  There was a small backup file listed for 1-30-22 that I airdropped and saved to files but could find no way to restore it to the app.  iOS was updated recently so maybe something happened there.

Recently the app has started locking up and not allowing for input or edits. Please update!!!

There are a million list making apps out there. This one is more of a task manager for me, because your lists can have lists!  I make a list for a task I want to complete, then break it down into parts inside the description. That way I can manage the progress of that task all in one place. 

I know that description is vague, so here is an example:  I have a list called “Workout.”  I open it and the list items are “Walking,” “Strength training,” “Nutrition,” etc. Each of the items have lists or notes in the description. So, for example, under “Walking” I have the settings for my treadmill for various programs, while under “Strength training” I have the list of exercises I do. See?  Lists of lists. 

Did I mention you can add pictures?  Sometimes words just aren’t enough. I use it for everything from organizing projects to keeping track of my car maintenance. 

I’ve never seen another list making app that organizes my thoughts this way. But, maybe I stopped looking after I found it because it fulfilled all my list making needs. :D

I’m very disappointed in the layout of the latest updated version.  I much preferred seeing the lines between lists.  It made it much more tidy looking.  When I go to put items in alphabetical order it doesn’t indicate that anything happened after I pressed my choice so I’m never sure it even worked and then keep pressing it again but nothing happens. Why did you change an already good app?  Can I please go back to the older version without losing my data?
Arg!  I’m so sorry I updated!  

Problem: The Type screen pops up and stays there without the hide button and then there is no way to see my lists and items underneath the typing pad without shutting down my phone. Very annoying. PLEASE FIX IT!

Ok so I’m getting used to the new update but i really want the delegation lines to be visible AND please consider making a more defined confirmation either visibly or with some kind of tactile buzz when we are trying to sort things from A - B for example, so I don’t have to keep tapping it because I have no idea whether it’s re-ordering or not.  PLEASE???

**Developer response:** It would be super helpful if you could contact us at the link below. We cannot test every device and situation. A couple of other kind users have contacted us and we are working with them as testers to fix issues they experience but that we can not replicate. I apologize for any issues you have had but we earnestly want to make the app the best for everyone. We have another update that should come out soon but I cannot recreate the issue you have mentioned about the keyboard yet so I am unsure if it will address that. Again, please contact us directly so that we can try to fix any issues you maybe experiencing.

As far as the design, we made choices that affected having themes (light and dark) which help in working toward iOS 13 Dark Mode options, too. I’m sorry you don’t like those choices; we did our best and tested with other users who approved.  

Apple does not provide a way to go backward in App Store Apps that we are aware of. The last version had not been updated in a while and eventually would not work on newer iOS versions and devices. However, the data is in the same format and can bow be saved to even more locations such as the files app.

I love this app, but now with iOS 13.1.1 the app crashes when I try to open a list. Some lists I have are ok, other crash immediately! 🤔 please help!

**Developer response:** FIX CONFIRMED! Beta users who experienced the crash confirmed a fix which has been submitted to the App Store for review and will hopefully be released soon!

We had a user contact us directly and we are working feverishly to test the fix. Unfortunately this issue does not happen for us so we had to have someone with the issue test. We are testing now and hope to get the update out ASAP. I promise that if any of us had experienced this issue we would have already had the fix out. I’ve used this app for more than seven years and have liked it very much but I hate the changes in this update. The list is more difficult to read even in the bigger font mode, bring the separation lines back. I don’t want pretty I want functionally. 

Also the pull up menu to change the sorting doesn’t go back down after making a selection so you have to press it again to get it out of the way.

I’ve used this app for years and today I see the “upgrade” but cannot find my years’ worth of lists - just the new “features”. HELP. SURELY I haven’t lost all my date for these “improvements” !   I added a star because it wouldn’t accept the review without one.
