Please update!!! **Developer response:** While we have an update being tested we aren’t aware of widespread issues. Please contact us through our website at the support link on the App Store so we could get more details from you and try to resolve any issues you’re having. ### 2/5 — My Lists Update *2019-10-26* I’m very disappointed in the layout of the latest updated version. I much preferred seeing the lines between lists. It made it much more tidy looking. When I go to put items in alphabetical order it doesn’t indicate that anything happened after I pressed my choice so I’m never sure it even worked and then keep pressing it again but nothing happens. Why did you change an already good app? Can I please go back to the older version without losing my data? Arg! I’m so sorry I updated! Problem: The Type screen pops up and stays there without the hide button and then there is no way to see my lists and items underneath the typing pad without shutting down my phone. Very annoying. PLEASE FIX IT! Ok so I’m getting used to the new update but i really want the delegation lines to be visible AND please consider making a more defined confirmation either visibly or with some kind of tactile buzz when we are trying to sort things from A - B for example, so I don’t have to keep tapping it because I have no idea whether it’s re-ordering or not. PLEASE??? **Developer response:** It would be super helpful if you could contact us at the link below. We cannot test every device and situation. A couple of other kind users have contacted us and we are working with them as testers to fix issues they experience but that we can not replicate. I apologize for any issues you have had but we earnestly want to make the app the best for everyone. We have another update that should come out soon but I cannot recreate the issue you have mentioned about the keyboard yet so I am unsure if it will address that. The issue you mention with sorting is one we can’t replicate yet and we certainly don’t want any bugs. As far as the design, we made choices that affected having themes (light and dark) which help in working toward iOS 13 Dark Mode options, too. I’m sorry you don’t like those choices; we did our best and tested with other users who approved. Apple does not provide a way to go backward in App Store Apps that we are aware of. The last version had not been updated in a while and eventually would not work on newer iOS versions and devices. However, the data is in the same format and can bow be saved to even more locations such as the files app. ### 4/5 — Love But Please Update *2019-09-29* I love this app, but now with iOS 13.1.1 the app crashes when I try to open a list. Some lists I have are ok, other crash immediately! 🤔 please help! **Developer response:** FIX CONFIRMED! Beta users who experienced the crash confirmed a fix which has been submitted to the App Store for review and will hopefully be released soon! We had a user contact us directly and we are working feverishly to test the fix. Unfortunately this issue does not happen for us so we had to have someone with the issue test. We are testing now and hope to get the update out ASAP. I promise that if any of us had experienced this issue we would have already had the fix out. Thank you. ### 3/5 — I want the old version back *2019-06-17* I’ve used this app for more than seven years and have liked it very much but I hate the changes in this update. The list is more difficult to read even in the bigger font mode, bring the separation lines back. I don’t want pretty I want functionally. Also the pull up menu to change the sorting doesn’t go back down after making a selection so you have to press it again to get it out of the way. ### 3/5 — What haspened *2016-11-03* Since IOS 10 my shared lists are all over the place in emails. I'm always searching for a checklists app as versatile as ToDoMatrix was (it's deceased, sadly). I would prefer a clean layout that would allow me simply to make reusable checklists, easily activate, or make visible the items I want and then disappear then back to the checklist as I check them off. This does some of that but it's as messy as a teenagers room and equally off-putting. I wish there were a way to try different list apps without having them in my list of purchases forever. Oh me, life is so hard... ### 4/5 — Time to update, guys! *2016-10-06* I'm a fan of this app, but I would pay money to have it work in the cloud and a desktop version. Think about it, gentleman. Don't make me go elsewhere!!! ### 2/5 — Was fantastic for a while *2016-09-30* I've used this app for more than a year, maybe two, for the most part it's been great, nice and simple, no fancy crap I don't need. But now, perhaps after an update, I can no longer alphabetically sort my lists. It's very frustrating and has me looking for a new app. However all the new ones seem to have all those unnecessary bells and whistles that cause clutter. I wish this would get fixed but I've been waiting for an update for a while now. I don't want to delete and reinstall because I'll loose all my data, and who knows if it will even work then. ### 4/5 — Especially useful for GTD contexts *2015-11-27* I have been using this app since my iPhone 3G. My use of it has adapted over the years and find it now my hub for context lists both reoccurring and non, like groceries, home repairs, etc. You can sort alphabetically; group check from non-checked items; use emoji iconography… the only major request to the developer is to update the app icon to match iOS 9's flatter, simpler style and revamp the app scaling so it inhabits and uses the 6-plus screen size more effectively. HELP. SURELY I haven’t lost all my date for these “improvements” ! Please update! ### 1/5 — Dead with ios8 *2014-09-28, version 2.5* Ios 8 update totally broke it. Cannot add items. Original was one of my favorite apps. First iPad version was great. 7-16 update totally broke app. Crashes to desktop. Even after restarting iPad. Deleted and reinstalled. Seems ok. So, be sure to email all your lists out before updating. I lost everything I had in lists. ### 1/5 — Good but crashes on iphone5 *2014-09-26, version 2.5* I've had this app for a few years now and everything was fine until I switched to iphone5. It keeps crashing every other time I open it. Also it would be nice if the developers add a link where users within the app where the users can report problems or leave their feedback for improvements to the app. If not for crashing I would've given it 4 stars. I'm downgrading my rating to 1 star. Crashes on iOS 8 not usable at all, I've reached out to their support and dev teams and never got a response back as to why the app would randomly crash. I'm definitely backing up my data and deleting the app from my phone. The HELP section is so lame it doesn't even tell you HOW to create a new list. Not at all user friendly. Needs lots of work to become so. I have used My Lists for many years and have loved it. I had a massive amount of data stored on both iPhone and iPad that is important to me. I opened the app today on both devices and all my data was gone. There was a small backup file listed for 1-30-22 that I airdropped and saved to files but could find no way to restore it to the app. iOS was updated recently so maybe something happened there. ### 5/5 — I absolutely LOVE this app *2019-11-15* There are a million list making apps out there. This one is more of a task manager for me, because your lists can have lists! I make a list for a task I want to complete, then break it down into parts inside the description. That way I can manage the progress of that task all in one place. I know that description is vague, so here is an example: I have a list called “Workout.” I open it and the list items are “Walking,” “Strength training,” “Nutrition,” etc. Each of the items have lists or notes in the description. So, for example, under “Walking” I have the settings for my treadmill for various programs, while under “Strength training” I have the list of exercises I do. See? Lists of lists. Did I mention you can add pictures? Sometimes words just aren’t enough. I use it for everything from organizing projects to keeping track of my car maintenance. I’ve never seen another list making app that organizes my thoughts this way. But, maybe I stopped looking after I found it because it fulfilled all my list making needs. :D ### 5/5 — Great app *2019-05-12* I’ve been using this App for years & love it. My Lists is simple but has a wide variety of points to customize. I have a long list of lists that I use regularly. Unlike so many other apps out there (including Apple's own), this is an extremely stable app. It has hardly needed any updates at all. It is simple and easy to set up and use.
