Come on Majestic, you can do better than this. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-03-21* Good idea but frustrating that after choosing wines in this basic app, the payment crashed and my basket emptied . Wont let me sign in (my same details work on the webpage) and the app does nothing at all. Being able to organise previous orders, rate wines, build up a list of things I’ve loved (and things I’d rather avoid in future). But none of this actually works - trying to browse or order anything just opens an in-app browser, rating wines in previous orders doesn’t work (surely the empty stars under each bottle are there for us to tap a quick rating??), when you tap the “add note” button in previous orders it makes you take a picture of a bottle - no idea why, I just want to rate it and make some notes. Bare minimum you have to be able to put an order together in the app, otherwise I’ll just use the website. If you have a Majestic account you can review all your past purchases as well as rate and review your wines. So if you are looking for something new you can quickly and easily check if it’s something you have tried before. ### 5/5 — P T *2022-08-19* Another excellent vintage from Majestic. Lots of features for the wine enthusiast, plus good tips for those looking to learn more. Good that it links latest offers with your local store, just in case they want to upgrade your order. Cheers. Your app needs upgraded to something less browser-like ### 2/5 — Poor *2025-03-29, version 1.7.0* No track my order. Still not sorted the sign in issue that stops us being logged in. It's lacking so many features it must be costing you fortunes in profit. Potential but needs work. A lot of work ### 2/5 — Poor (unusable) UI; confusing *2025-03-20* It’s got the account functionality in the app but then to actually buy anything it just creates a portal back to the website. The issue with this is that the “Shop local” banner that you can’t dismiss for some reason means you can’t access the criteria at the top of the filter list. So it’s impossible to select, for example, “white”, or “red”, which is pretty fundamentally useless for a wine purchasing app. Additionally it can’t retrieve old order details through the portal - presumably an issue with the iOS version of the website because I couldn’t do it through Safari either. So I can see how much I’ve spent on wine but not find out which ones. Though if I duck out of the shopping bit and back to the app it’ll show me my order, and if I tap one of the wines it’ll put me back into the website portal. Very clunky. They need to invest in the infrastructure to just be able to purchase via the app. ### 2/5 — Poor functionality, just a purchase app *2024-04-17* The label and wine finder functionality doesn’t seem to find anything. It makes its existence nearly pointless. ### 2/5 — Wine lists *2023-09-14* The App is very poor when wanting to find out what wine they have in any category. Type in South African Red Wine and you get some South African red and then in the same list you get Portuguese, Australian, White wines, and everything except what you are looking for. It’s better to just going to their website. ### 2/5 — Not really an app yet *2023-02-16* This isn’t really an app yet.
