### 2/5 — Message sub-app

*2024-09-03*

My wife just wrote a two paragraph message logged in on a laptop requesting a referral. When the timeout screen popped up she selected stay logged in but was logged out. She logged in again, rewrote the message, as the message draft is not saved, only to be logged out again. On the third try she was unable to save or send the message and the send button or symbol could not be located.

So we defaulted to the iPhone app and tried again. We tried to copy the message before sending it only to receive an Update the App screen. We couldn’t back out of that screen. We completed the Update but again lost the message.

1. Why doesn’t the system save DRAFTS? Or at least allow a Save?
2. Why is the on-line timeout so short when users are composing a medical message with perhaps much Technical terminology?
3. Why isn’t the Send button or icon where it is visible throughout the Draft process?

The intention of the system and access it provides seems great, but thorough testing by real users is essential. And older users should definitely be a key part of the test teams!

Both my wife and I are reasonably computer literate. We’ve both done software testing. If we are struggling, how are people without reasonable tech savvy to be effectively served!

### 2/5 — Appointments

*2024-03-04, version 3.0.195*

Cannot cancel an appointment

### 2/5 — Prescription refill

*2024-02-27*

We’ve tried calling and had no answer so we tried the app. We can select the medications but can’t select the location. The one we is not listed and there is no where to enter one. Seems we will have to order F2F. 😳

### 2/5 — Medications

*2024-01-23, version 3.0.137*

I cannot access my medication list in this app. It only says to use their pharmacy. Really useless

### 1/5 — App lacks doctors notes

*2023-11-02, version 3.0.63*

Very bad app compared to Epic mychart

### 2/5 — Unable to cancel an appointment

*2023-10-24, version 3.0.43*

I have multiple pending appointments. Some of these need to be canceled. How do I manage this through the app?

### 2/5 — Difficult

*2023-10-18, version 3.0.43*

Your new app is very hard to navigate. My medications are not listed and it is next to impossible to send a message to the doctors.

Not happy!

### 1/5 — App is broken. Won’t go past agreement page.

*2023-10-05, version 3.0.43*

App is broken. Won’t go past agreement page.

### 1/5 — Step back in the twilight zone

*2023-09-22, version 3.0.43*

No access to visit summaries at all. Very rudimentary app. Just the very step of logging in brought back memories of the old blackberry phones from the 90’s.

### 1/5 — Ineffective app

*2023-08-31*

Compared to other health facilities, this app has many flaws and is frustrating to use.
1. There is not ability to set notifications within my iPhone settings.
2. I get emails (no way to receive text messages) when I have a message but when I go into the app, there’s nothing to signify a new message.
3. You can only message some providers, not all.
4. Within records, weight, temperature, etc are all noted using the metric system. At the very least, the conversion to the imperial system should be provided.
5. There’s no way to view imaging, only the radiologist’s report.
It seems Marshfield Clinic has once again cut corners like they’ve done with so many other things, which is quite unfortunate.

### 1/5 — No information

*2023-08-31, version 2.0.1066*

What happened to this app?? I used to see my test results, diagnosis, etc. Now it shows appointments only. Delete.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t link to the rest of MyChart

*2023-08-29*

I was told that this app is part of the MyChart system. The app does not link to the main MyChart system and my providers at other hospitals and clinics cannot share test results or medical history. This is unacceptable with the technology that is available to healthcare providers today. Results should all be compiled in one place so we can see trends and health records should be easily shared among providers and the patient.

I learned a long time ago that I must be my own advocate to receive the care I needed. This app makes that more difficult.

### 1/5 — App not working

*2023-08-14, version 2.0.1066*

Placed a “request an appointment “ twice with the Dr I prefer and never heard back. App said I would get notified but never did

### 2/5 — Information display

*2023-08-12*

Why would a company not have the ability for us to see the height and weight as feet and inches vs centimeters along with weight being in pounds instead of kilograms. Last I checked we are not on the metric system.
The only positive is that I was able to look the information up without having to call.

**Developer response:** Hello, Thank you for your feedback. I have shared your comments with our app development team, and we will look into this matter. We appreciate you sharing. Thank you – Stacey

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2023-08-05*

I would have rated zero but was not allowed to give less than 1.
Problems with app involved lack of information available, inability to view all medical from visits in multiple locations in one health record and doesn’t appear to capture all information taken.
I am new to the Marshfield system this year. I have had excellent care from most providers and the HIM staff but found the follow up information on website lacking which is very surprising to me.
Rice Lake location was most informative with doctors notes and anesthesia notes posted in a timely way.
The information taken at Marshfield location, where specialty services were provided, was not provided. This is concerning as it is required.

### 1/5 — Refilling prescriptions is confusing

*2023-07-11, version 2.0.1066*

I can’t get my prescription filled thru the app anymore they don’t like my insurance

### 1/5 — Poor app design and functionality

*2023-07-07*

Your old app allowed me to message my primary care dr with one click. Now the message app cannot even find him so I cannot message him at all. Also, your old app grouped all of my care team for quick info. Your new app has no such feature. It is poorly designed.

**Developer response:** Hello, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for this change. This is an identified issue that we are working to improve. I have shared your comments with our app development team. We appreciate you sharing your review. Thank you – Stacey

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — There’s bug in app

*2025-02-19, version 3.0.642*

I can’t login into the app it keeps kicking me off saying error on your end

### 1/5 — Upload documents

*2024-07-08, version 3.0.303*

Need to be able to upload forms

### 1/5 — Have you used Mayo’s Portal?

*2024-03-21*

I use both clinics, as I left Marshfield Clinic (another day)as much as I could. I can’t access any medical records, while on Mayo Clinic’s portal I can pull up my images along with test results tracked over years to watch for trends. This is a big fail on the DEVELOPERS end. All of these issues are the APP DEVELOPERS.

If I am writing a note to my care team in a given specialty, I must keep a very complex situation to 2 sentences or I can’t send the message. I cannot effectively communicate with my care team. This was the problem even before the app, when ignorant appointment coordinators made themselves the gate keepers of the medical staff. I nearly died because I couldn’t get my medication, or the test to show I need it (I’ve been on for 3 decades), or get me an appointment sooner.

That issue aside, this is the worst platform for communication I’ve come across and I was there when all one saw when one’s computer was connected to the internet was a prompt and one needed to know DOS. When I need to write my care team it’s a blank screen with an arrow in the upper right corner. I’ve found it won’t send after two sentences…I am at a point where I write “please call me today, I have an urgent, but not emergency situation”. The app is worse than one I had university students develop for a city and county project. MC should get a full refund and hire a new development team.

### 1/5 — Missing Info

*2024-03-03, version 3.0.195*

I want to see the write ups from my visits. They are not available in this app. Why bother?

### 1/5 — Bad News

*2024-02-14, version 3.0.195*

Who ever put this app together must not check there work. This is by far the hardest thing to navigate. A lot of older people will never figure it out. If you need direction give me a holler.

### 1/5 — Impossible!

*2024-02-12, version 3.0.195*

This may be the glitchiest app I’ve ever tried to use. It tells me the passwords don’t match (they do), it can’t find the account I just set up, the password doesn’t work, etc. total waste of time!!!

### 1/5 — Medication

*2024-02-02, version 3.0.137*

Cannot access medication list because I don’t get medication from the Mfld clinic- ridiculous.
Asked for a medication b4 going on trip- no one messaged me back that it was sent to pharmacy.

### 1/5 — My Marshfield

*2024-01-31, version 3.0.137*

MM is the worst app I’ve delt with in any heath system. You can’t find any useful information and communication with docs doesn’t work. I’m glad I live in Marshfield and can do things in person. It sucked 5 years ago and hasn’t changed Howard Swanson MD

### 1/5 — App

*2024-01-31, version 3.0.137*

The app doesn’t provide a lot of information. I am used to using My Chart and having everything I need at my fingertips.

### 1/5 — Marshfield clinc app

*2023-12-18, version 3.0.118*

wortst app I’ve ever to deal with! Doesn’t upgrade prescriptions that I was supposed to
have filled today. Noone snd I mean noone has a clue. Get with it!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — MyMarshfield

*2025-10-01*

I have been using this app for over a year. I have also used other companies platforms and I have found this to be the easiest and more available options. I have had an easy time reaching out to my doctors about anything. I think a lot of these reviews are old and myMarshfield has changed a lot since.

### 5/5 — App is easy to use!

*2023-02-02, version 2.0.889*

I loved how easy it was to schedule a visit in the app and the details that I could quickly retrieve!

### 5/5 — Easy to Use

*2023-01-27, version 2.0.889*

So nice to be able to schedule appointments, send provider messages, and get my medications refilled or sent to me with this app!

### 5/5 — Easy to use Great info at my fingertips

*2021-05-25*

I love this app! It’s a great source of information. I can access it quickly. There are frequently new features that are intuitive. My whole family uses it. Nice job Marshfield Clinic Health System!

### 5/5 — Love being able to connect with Marshfield Clinic

*2020-12-07*

I’ve just started using this app but I’m glad my health provider is now at my fingertips! The app is easy to use and they’ve already added new features.

### 4/5 — Works but . . .

*2022-03-09*

The app works for the most part, but has a “check in” option that accomplishes. . . wait for it . . . nothing. You still have to stand in line at the clinic and check in just like always.

### 4/5 — Review

*2022-02-10, version 2.0.344*

The app works well, but I don't like that it only is the size of half my screen.

### 3/5 — Not as useful as it could be

*2024-05-24*

There is no longer a way to update your insurance info in the app. I also don’t see a way to log out.

There are useful features but this needs some work.

### 3/5 — MyMarshfieldm needs help

*2024-03-24, version 3.0.219*

The updated app is great EXCEPT for one thing. No matter what name I enter to send a message, the thung tells me they can’t find it. Not even “Dr.”!!!! Please fix this or remove the messaging tool.

### 3/5 — Doctor please?

*2023-05-24, version 2.0.1050*

I can’t even find the name of the Endocrinologist I saw. I’m new here and can’t remember her name. Very frustrating. I’m accustomed to having past and future appointments shown.
