### 2/5 — Not a fan

*2024-06-04, version 6.4.1*

Filter doesn’t work well.
I am looking for a meal app not a dish app.

### 2/5 — Are we sure these recommendations are the Mediterranean Diet?

*2023-04-24, version 5.6.3*

I have been following Dr. Terry Simpson M.D. and this doesn’t seems to align with his definition of the Mediterranean Diet.

### 2/5 — Not Yet

*2021-12-20, version 5.5.0*

It’s only been a day. Maybe app will seem easier and more helpful in time

### 2/5 — Seriously

*2021-05-18, version 5.3.0*

Have you opened your own app to try to setup? You need some twicking!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Recipes don’t load

*2025-07-06, version 6.30.0*

I downloaded this app for recipes but the recipe page doesn’t load. So- no recipes. Not a single one. Been trying over a week. What a waste.

### 1/5 — Locks up during setup

*2024-07-18, version 6.6.4*

Really crappy app I downloaded it to compare to others and I can’t even get past the setup screens. They are always offset on the phone and keeps locking up and I’m using an iPhone 14 sooo it’s not my phone. All other apps work properly but this one. I guess you get what you pay for. To frustrating to use so highly DO NOT RECOMMEND…

### 1/5 — Confused

*2024-04-10, version 6.4.1*

I can’t figure out how to use my barcode, it’s just a white screen, and to create a meal of your own, that’s not working right either, it’s got to be me, I’m ready to delete my account and give up

### 1/5 — Unsure where the Mediterranean part is

*2023-08-31*

Signed up to this app with great expectation unfortunately it did not live up to them. Very misleading title! The recipes are not Mediterranean for example there are deep fried recipes! And a lack of olive oi! If you use a recipe you can’t link it to your meal planning and it doesn’t find it when you type it in word for word ?? The food data base is American and doesn’t recognise common uk foods at all this is great if you are American but I am not so I found this extremely frustrating and annoying. There is lots of information on macros etc if you like that but I’m not interested in those I just thought I had subscribed to a Mediterranean diet recipe App but feel totally mislead. I have messaged them three times on the help / feedback thread requesting a refund but have still not heard back I have now gone through Apple to request my refund.

### 1/5 — not free - only tracking

*2023-03-23, version 5.6.3*

It’s not free if you require a sign up to use and not if you track me across the web. Too bad. Looks like it might be a good app. DELETE

### 1/5 — Nope

*2021-04-14, version 5.0.2*

Easily the worst meal tracker I’ve ever used. One wrong move and the entire meal you’re trying to add is gone. Save yourself some aggravation and use something, anything, else.

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2020-06-19, version 3.0.0*

This is NOT a good app and certainly not one worth paying for. The Mediterranean diet is supposed to limit poultry and red meat, yet the recipe menus contain these daily. Plus, you can’t customize for dietary restrictions. As a pescatarian, I was hoping this would simplify my meal planning, but the recipes are very neat intensive, which doesn’t seem aligned with the healthy Mediterranean diet.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2018-01-04, version 1.0*

This app contains only the same information that would show up on the first page of a google search result. Waste of time since I’ve already googled what the diet is. I was hoping for something that I could plan or track with.

### 2/5 — Does not track much

*2025-01-14, version 6.30.0*

Only seems to track protein, fat, carbs. My Fitness Pal is more comprehensive.

### 2/5 — Glitches

*2024-12-03, version 6.20.1*

Downloaded to start tracking (I have used CarbManager and MyFitnessPal in the past) I was very hopeful but it doesn’t seem to be very refined yet. Keep working on it and I’ll definitely be on board once the glitches are worked out. Til then I’m back to CarbManager!

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Helpful tool

*2026-06-23, version 6.30.0*

I appreciate the simplicity of this tool in tracking and creating menu/food items.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2022-02-27, version 5.5.0*

Great little app to help plan and track your transition to a Mediterranean diet.

### 5/5 — Good Stuff

*2020-08-08, version 3.0.0*

It is a solid app. Lots of good info

### 5/5 — User-Friendly

*2018-05-17, version 1.0*

Good app! Doesn’t overload you with “weedy,” unhelpful information. It contains a lot of good info, but sticks to the key points: the benefits of the diet, long lists of foods you should and shouldn’t eat, great tips, and supportive messages. Very pleased!

### 3/5 — To Much Advertising

*2025-06-28, version 6.30.0*

All in all I liked the app. and I understand they have to make money. But the advertising is one to two times per entry depending upon how much you’re entering. My wife has an app that I switched to because. No advertising. I mean it. I’ll pop up on the page but you can still enter things while it’s there. This app. The Mediterranean app there’s a lot of advertising for stupid games. So you have to watch the mini video.

### 3/5 — Frustrating

*2023-07-09, version 5.6.3*

I like the App but there is no way to copy individual foods. Once you’ve scanned the food it ought to be able to be pulled up easily.

### 3/5 — Froze on ad

*2022-04-20, version 5.6.1*

Couldn’t get ad to go away. Frustrating.

### 3/5 — More Explanation

*2021-05-23, version 5.3.0*

I like the app so far it could just provide more information about what the goals are: like should we stay in our app given carbohydrate rate and is that the goal? Also what do we do if we go over a day? Also does this diet help burn fat and get us in Ketosis? How does this diet help us loose weight. Other than that I do like it but would appreciate more guidance!
