On top of that some items on the app when you type the barcode in says yes WIC approved then you get to the register and you end up paying full price… **Developer response:** Thank you for taking time to review the app. We are aware of issues with scanning. This will be fixed in an upcoming release of the app. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-01-21* Can’t even scan all UPC codes. Approved for Enfamil baby formula but when scanned says it’s not. Organic fruits scanned not qualify. App is just the worst thing I’ve ever downloaded. Don’t scan and when entered denies everything. ### 3/5 — Ease of use is terrible! *2024-03-01* The app lacks a lot in ease of use and functionality. Sometimes works and other times you can’t use certain buttons or it will not load correctly. **Developer response:** Thank you for taking time to review the app. A phone's cellular data connectivity can sometimes impact buttons showing up or data loading correctly while inside of a store. We are working on updates to the app to help with ease of use that will be released in the next 6 months or so. ### 3/5 — Feb 29! Not working *2024-02-29* Leap year , leap day today. Last day for WIC groceries today and the app is not working at all!! **Developer response:** Thank you for taking time to review the app. Unfortunately there was an outage that affected the app during the afternoon on 2/29/2024. This was resolved the same day please let us know if you continue to have issues with the app working. ### 3/5 — Issues with IOS apple products *2023-10-12* I enjoy using the WIC app, however it seems to give issues with my iPhone. My partner is able to pull up our available benefits with his Samsung with no issues, but I have issues sometimes. Please review and fix this! ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2023-08-19* While this app have never worked great, it seems to freeze more and more. When trying to scan items, it will lock up. The only way to continue to use it is by closing the app completely and then restarting it. It has now lost our saved information and when I try and register again it will not allow me to select the register button. **Developer response:** Thank you for taking time to review the app. What model Phone are you using? If you are currently registered please unregister, then uninstall and reinstall the app and try to register again. ### 5/5 — Works great *2023-08-09* Easy to use. **Developer response:** Thank you for taking time to review the app we are glad it is working well for you! ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work at all stores like it’s supposed to *2023-08-04* I went to a few stores that are approved on the list for me to shop at, but none of the approved items would work. I literally scanned each item in the app to make sure they were approved, and when I went to checkout none of it worked. The store kiosk was saying I got items that weren’t approved. So I’m not sure if that’s a store problem or an app problem but it left me feeling embarrassed cause I had to put the food back. **Developer response:** Thank you for taking time to review the app. To be able to verify if this is a store or app issue please collect UPC's from any transactions that have issues, and provide this information along with any errors to your Local Agency. They will be able to pass this information along to be researched by the helpdesk and vendor unit to determine if this is a store issue. ### 2/5 — Barcode scanner *2023-08-03* Doesn’t work, will not scan anything. So I have to patiently type everything in and that’s a lot of work with 3 kids. Otherwise everything else works.
