Very recommended! ### 4/5 — Great... could be better *2019-04-15, version 2.6.4* I love this app and I tend to use it whenever I seek its wisdom. I tend to do a lot of competitive battling and I don’t like using websites so I use this app. My problem is sometimes when I try to look at move it doesn’t show it just shows a bunch of Japanese/Chinese words. Also the same thing goes for the train section of a Pokemon. You might say it’s because it doesn’t have a training guide for the poke but I’m pretty sure there should be because I checked before. Please fix these bugs and make this the best Pokédex app. ### 4/5 — Good Pokedex app *2019-01-30, version 2.5.8* I like this Pokedex app for x and y but for US and UM it isn't much help. Ago it would be cool if you had a catch rate calculator built in. ### 4/5 — Maps *2018-07-15, version 2.5.8* It’s great I use it whenever I get stuck but for Pokémon ultra sun and ultra moon and just sun and moon in general they don’t have a map to find stuff for which is a little annoying, but I can understand because people get busy so they can’t work on it. If they add it I will be very happy because I’m playing ultra moon and I want to know which Pokémon you can only get from which game. Also where the Pokémon from other games are. The only problem with it is that it doesn’t have locations for SM/USUM It’s still REALLY good👍👍👍 ### 5/5 — This app is up to date and works great!! *2017-11-29, version 2.5.4* This is a very convenient app for viewing stats on Pokémon, how they evolve, what moves they can learn and so on. It’s like a quicker access to Bulbapedia. It even has updated information from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon such as Move Tutors and new Pokémon like Poipole. Still lacking updated movesets for old Pokémon, but hey, better than what I can say about most Pokédex apps. The Team Builder function is probably the most useful thing you’ll find out of this app that nothing else has. You can create teams with as many Pokémon as you like (more than 6) and even give them illegal moves. So that lacking updated movesets thing I mentioned above? Easily fix this yourself using this feature. This goes for abilities too. I find myself wasting my time making completely arbitrary teams just for the heck of it. In terms of bugs or problems I have none, but I do have a couple nitpicks: 1. There’s a little concern regarding Stealth Rock in Team Builder. When I have a pokemon hold a smooth rock and it knows stealth rock, z-stealth rock will be available. The move must think a smooth rock is a rockium z, yet no other rock moves do so, just stealth rock. 2. The back button isn’t very sensitive to touch. I find myself having to push really hard or double tap on it. These nitpicks shouldn’t hinder your experience though. This app is great and convenient, opens very nicely and never crashes. It’s a useful little tool if you don’t feel like going on the internet for other sources. ### 4/5 — Very good except for glitch *2017-11-24, version 2.5.2* They have done a wonderful job so far. However, there are a couple of glaring features missing, the usability is kinda poor, and most importantly, I can’t screenshot my team using the built in function, because it crashes my app every time and doesn’t save. I can’t decide how to train my ‘mons without seeing what it’s potential is! ### 3/5 — Pretty strong Pokedex app, though unfinished *2015-01-11, version 1.3.4* While I found that this app had a pretty decent layout and easy to navigate pages, many of the guides were unfinished or missing entirely. Unlike bulbapedia however, instead of showing you how to get a Pokemon in every game, it shows you pictures of where to catch each Pokemon in every region. This would be fine if it didn't ONLY include Pokemon that can be caught through throwing Pokeballs with ANY evolution, breeding or trading. For example, you can only obtain tympole in OR and AS by trading. It won't tell you this whatsoever. Overall, though, I still found this app handy, and it had a nifty little team building function, although the teambuilder lacked the ability the customize EVs or IVs. ### 4/5 — The App is looking really good *2021-08-05, version 2.7.6* The only thing left there to do is to cooperate every Pokémon game that you have on the app with the correct moves and information about the moves I hope you get to do that soon. ### 4/5 — My Monsterdex *2021-02-23, version 2.7.6* Overall, Amazing. I love how I can list my favorites and build teams. I would absolutely love if we could get a generation 9 update as well, so I can continue to use this app for all my Pokemon needs.
