Over the space of a few weeks I tried it in various areas and more often than not, it says “no network detected” even when the phone is clearly connected. If the issue is the network isn’t performing properly then that’s what it should say- presumably why I’m on it and checking in the first place… ### 1/5 — Impossibile to register account *2023-08-16, version 6.0* Tried multiple times to register an account. Every time I go back to input the text code, the App reverts to the screen where you input your phone number. I manage since to get to the email screen but when I returned to input the email code, again, the App reverts suddenly to the input phone number screen. It seems that the registration screens are not stable at all so impossible to register a My Network account! ### 2/5 — Recent issues *2023-08-14, version 6.0* Recently it no longer logs you into the app, faults never seem to get fixed either and coverage, speed and call quality is diabolical since O2 merger with Virgin Media ### 1/5 — Poor app *2023-04-18* When this first started you used to be able to report problems. Now you get messages a mast is faulty our people are more than likely fixing it - not when it goes on for 2 months! Latest we are upgrading your network you may have problems- at 8am not a good time. But these message prevent you from leaving a fault info asking for details when done. If the app sees no signal before you press the test button it can put you to the fault before it knows where you are. ### 1/5 — False data speed test *2022-11-23, version 6.0* The speed test on this app is a joke, compare it to any other speed test app and you’ll see what I mean 🙄 if you have an issue the app will just tell you all is well 🤬 ### 1/5 — Dreadful *2022-09-05, version 5.9* With 2 bars of 4G, it often says: ‘ We have detected that you have no/ poor network connectivity. Press OK to switch to offline mode.’ None of they tests seem to work. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2022-06-09, version 5.9* Whenever I try to save my preferences it just crashes out of the app. Also often when checking coverage it says I do not have connection despite having either full mobile or Wi-Fi coverage. ### 1/5 — A waste of time *2022-03-06* Used this to report many network issues, all of which have been long terms issues in specific areas. Absolutely no confirmation of receipt or feedback from O2 regarding my reports and the problems persist. The inflated speed test is a joke. 60mb download? It’s 14mb at best. Just remove it. Used to be the best network to be on. Now, horrible. Network rubbish. Apps rubbish. Going to be even worse now with them teaming up with Virgin. This app especially has been rubbish since its conception. Been over a year since an update. Unless you are in London or centre Manchester Birmingham then you don’t get what you pay for. ### 1/5 — Poor usage *2025-08-26* Use to report network problems. Except all that it does is file a report for a customer advisor to look up an outage map and tell you there isn’t a problem. What’s the point of filing a report if they don’t use them to direct the engineers to fix the problems. Fed up getting responses back saying they can’t see any faults on the network outage map; I can look up the network outage map myself! Wouldn’t be reporting an issue if I didn’t have one! ### 1/5 — Utter rubbish *2025-08-14, version 6.8* Was told by 02 to use to report network issues, don’t bother it just does not work even with no signal showing it says the connection is fine, don’t waste your time with it ### 1/5 — Not able to register for an o2 account in this app *2024-07-31, version 6.7* Not able to register for an o2 account in this app so I can’t keep track of the network issues I have reported just get sent meaningless texts saying there investigating the fault but no update 😡🤬 also the app frequently saying I have no data connection when I have 3G or 4G indicated even if it is incredibly slow. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Confirms the poor service O2 deliver *2022-07-13* Great app to check your O2 service availability. It just confirms how rubbish the O2 network is. 4G showing on the phone but no data connection, this has been the same for over 12 months in the same location with 2 different iPhones. ### 5/5 — Very Helpful App! *2017-08-26* In the latest update it's improved the experience & now has simplified reporting problems! Locates Wi-fi hotspots and indicates mobile coverage. Wi-fi speed test useful but does not log location for future reference. ### 3/5 — Connection problems *2023-06-18* For whatever reason when I use the app and move around and zoom in and out to go to specific places the app will randomly say "You don't have network connectivity". I know I have an internet connection because I use it every day. It's this one app that constantly errors out and says I don't have an internet connection. That's enough of a problem in itself. When the screen pops up, I click on "Check for connectivity". But I have to click on it 8 times for the map to even load again. Then once I think it's all fixed and over, the same thing happens again. Please get this fixed because I find this app useful while I'm out and about or planning trips.
