Super frustrated putting all info in three times. Also the app doesn’t retain simple information when you use the same suppliers. Could be much easier. ### 1/5 — Made everything harder *2024-05-09, version 13.10* They just updated it to make it harder to make claims, that’s it. I’d not be surprised if people just gives up and don’t claim at all as the app is more glitchy and you have to load all your details every single time. Someone more cynical might think they did it on purpose to discourage people claims. ### 1/5 — Keeps logging me out *2024-04-14, version 13.8* So much harder to submit a claim now and every time I reopen the app I have to log in again. Used to be able to save bank account details for claims, but that’s now gone away. The app was so much easier to use before the redesign! ### 1/5 — Used to work *2024-03-05, version 13.5.1* The app used to be passable and worked, but now it’s been updated and it’s so much harder to use, it doesn’t save your bank details anymore so you have to MANUALLY input them EVERY time which leaves room for user/input error, and is so inefficient. It takes you to a different browser out of the app. It’s so frustrating and not user friendly at all. The app now has so many more steps than it used to. Why change it to make it worse?? ### 1/5 — Do not use this app *2024-02-07, version 13.3* This app makes me want to change providers. Why was it ever changed in the first place. I agree with all the other negative reviews and am also very frustrated. When submitting a claim (which is through a web link) and you need to go into your photos to find out details from your receipt, the claim you have started disappears and you have to start over again. Sort the app out or I will arrange cover for myself and the family through another provider. ### 1/5 — New app not good *2023-12-18, version 13.1* The redesigned app doesn’t remember bank details and have to add them in every claim! So asks a lot more questions than previously, makes claiming a lot longer and annoying ### 1/5 — Never works *2023-09-15, version 1.1.6* This app is the worst. It never logs in. ### 1/5 — Dreadful app *2023-07-26, version 1.1.6* So many glitches on the app and via the online login via the internet. NIB used to be so easy to submit claims and receipts to. I downloaded the app after failing multiple times via the website login. There should be an easy way of loading lots of receipts at once without adding the bank account for each receipt. The app keeps asking for a bank account number which I have already inserted. It just goes round and round in circles. I went to the NIB website to submit a query and the website wouldn’t accept my birthdate so can’t submit my query. However they’re very happy to take my money and increase my premiums. I get stuck at the login screen with a spinning wheel of death. Information is hard to find, it’s plastered with unhelpful advertisements where key details of your policy should be, the “I’d like to..” menu is designed like a search but is actually a menu and doesn’t have an intuitive design. The website is just easier. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t submit my claim *2025-08-08, version 16.4.0* I feel everything out and then click submit and nothing happens. It doesn’t progress even after refreshing. I end up just doing it through the website. ### 1/5 — A Complete Catastrophe *2025-03-31, version 15.2.0* Wow, this app is a complete train wreck. You can’t do anything without being forced to log in again, why even log into the app in the first place if every single thing the app is supposed to do just opens a web page that then asks you to log in again? This wouldn’t be the worst thing if I could autofill my details and log straight in, but no, you INSIST on passwordless email verification instead so I have to sit around for 5 minutes waiting for a stupid email to arrive so I can do something as basic as check the status of a damn claim. This app is a complete catastrophe and you should be completely mortified that it has even seen the light of day. What a complete and total disgrace on every possible level. I’d rather just cancel my insurance than have to continue using this complete disaster. In fact, yeah, I think that’s what I’m going to do. ### 1/5 — Has no point *2025-03-04, version 15.0.0* It doesn’t matter if you have the latest version updated or not, it doesn’t work ### 1/5 — Pointless *2024-12-11, version 14.10.0* The app is pointless as it just brings up the portal on the website for anything. The requests don’t work - I’ve submitted 6 times to change to credit card and it just says they’ll call me. I’ve also requested to remove a member off my policy and nothings showing under requests. There’s no email function. Shambles. ### 1/5 — This App is a terrible *2024-09-11, version 14.3.0* The previous one worked reasonably well and at least retained basic information. Unfortunately it leaves the impression it’s designed to discourage claims. Can’t use a password so you have to check email every time.
