However, I was forced to get a new phone last week, and now most of my stuff is gone!! So many years of entries. My dog is old and at the end of her life, and I have made so many entries over the years. It used to be a matter of logging in and downloading from the cloud — not anymore! It is asking me to pay a $4.99 subscription fee. I get apps need to make money, but as a long time user, I did know I was going to lose my stuff. Every single app wants a fee, and I cannot afford to do every single one! I particularly log when I groom and cut my dog’s nails, and I don’t even see that option within the app now. I’m so upset…I was looking for the info I had in there to bring to my vet appointment. I still love the app. ### 4/5 — No longer 5 srar *2025-03-12, version 6.3.1* I would have given this 5 stars but I lost all my information in the latest update. I have managed to get most of it back but some of the most recent is still gone but at least this is easier to replace or remember ### 2/5 — Mostly good *2024-12-05* I rely heavily on the photo gallery to store pictures of medical records, AKC docs, etc. regardless of whether you take pictures landscape or portrait you cannot view them correctly in the gallery. They are zoomed in and you cannot zoom out to see the entire picture. It makes the entire photo gallery concept useless. This is on an iphone with ios 18. Lots of other bugs. Sometimes when starting the app it gives you the new user screen as if you have never used the app before. Crashes a lot. Clicking on images in the photo gallery often crashes the app. Always have to pick my dog’s profile each time I use the app. I only have 1 animal, so it should stay inside that animal’s profile until I exit out. Big pain. If they could fix these I would buy the Premium subscription and change my rating. ### 2/5 — Good idea, but keeps glitching *2024-09-25, version 6.0.3* The app is a really great concept and is really useful. Would be nice if you could add a due date for flea and tick prevention and also wish that the app wouldn’t glitch and close so often ### 3/5 — Pretty good but bizarre sync between devices *2024-01-19, version 5.7* As far as functionality and features this app is pretty good, maybe the best of the apps I’ve tried. But I have one minor and one major gripe. Minor: There is a lot of data and options, this can lead to a confusing user experience. It’s pretty good all things considered but its sometimes hard to find what you want and there are inconsistencies like some kinds of records can have expenses attached but things like vaccinations do not. Major: The data sync in this app is bonkers. You can use their “cloud” or you can use iCloud. iCloud never worked for me. There’s also a web portal which is awesome BUT; you have to manually “sync” from one device to either the [device] cloud or the web portal, then on another device you must import this data from either the portal or the other device. Synchronization implies that this just happens and is seamless which is definitely not the case here. You’re asking families to constantly be push/pulling data and hope their copy is the most current. ### 3/5 — Love this app, but! *2022-02-11, version 5.4.2* Great app for all your pet information. I found it very easy to enter info and access this info. Only complaint, it’s not designed for Canadian use, it’s designed for USA, Australia and the UK. Some built in features including emergency numbers/hot lines and information, is only available and searchable for these countries. 5 stars if the app is updated for Canada! ### 3/5 — Very complex *2019-11-15, version 4.7.4* Although there are numerous features in this app, I personally found it unnecessarily complicated to navigate with ease. Some people may disagree but I just found adding info, changing data and accessing with multiple devices far to time consuming. It needs to be far more intuitive. ### 2/5 — Update Messed Everything Up *2019-10-25, version 4.7a* My phone got the update for this app and it had previously been a great way to keep on track of all 10 of my pets stuff and now half my data is missing, and nothing has labels so I’m blindly clicking to try and add a vaccine my cat just got. ### 3/5 — Lily *2019-05-26, version 4.5* Thought this might record my dogs grooming cut details has everything else but this. ### 5/5 — I love this app! *2019-03-02, version 4.4* I have never reviewed an app...EVER...However, this one is worth my time to do so! It is very helpful! I can keep all my litter records on my phone and print directly from it to give new puppy owners their puppy’s records. In lieu of printing, I can also email them the data. As a result, this app was so hard to set up correctly that I just gave up and deleted it. ### 1/5 — Most convoluted app ever *2022-03-13, version 5.4.2* Apart from adding my pets to the app, I cannot do anything else. The help instructions are so ambiguous I have no idea how to add even their vaccinations, worming or flea control records. ### 1/5 — Horrible App Don’t waste your money! *2021-05-20, version 5.2* This app is not functioning as described. I don’t receive an email when I try to link my userid and email. The app doesn’t save information properly and after hitting save all my information is lost when I go back in. The app is adding multiples when selecting deworming medication and then adds the types of parasites to the vaccine list in addition to the parasite list. ### 1/5 — Lost Everything *2021-01-30, version 5.1.2* The app used to be a great place to store information about your pets. I spent a long time entering vaccines and other health info four my four pets for several years with no issues. However, since the app was updated and the icon has changed, all of my data is now gone. ### 1/5 — Still Have Issues 1/2/21 *2021-01-03, version 5.1.1* (1) When I click on “admin” under the more tab, the app crashes. (2) When download records from iCloud or web, expenses are all zero’ed out. (3) When the “use iCloud Drive to sync” is checked, getting an error message when trying to download from iCloud (I’ve done the failsafe mode troubleshoot) (4) Your email doesn’t work ****isn’t a full app check done before an update is released? If I’m going to continually be the only one providing these feedback I should get compensated for my time!*** ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your $2.99 *2020-09-06, version 5.0.1* This app is very buggy, features don’t work as they should, and the interface is confusing. Want my 2.99 back. ### 1/5 — I really wanted to like this app *2019-07-02, version 4.5* I really hoped it would work, but after having numerous problems trying get data to sync between the app and server, the sync purging all of my data and the convoluted efforts required to view certain data, I have moved on to another app. And yes, I realize it is an inexpensive app, but if you state that an app does certain things, you expect those things to work. ### 1/5 — Looks promising but doesn't deliver. *2019-06-08, version 4.5* App was unstable. I would enter information and press save only to get an eye that a field I had entered "couldn't be blank." Very frustrating and unstable. At this point I'm just fed up with it and unfortunately can't request a refund. We travel and having all the records on my phone for vets, grooming and other things is great. I love that you can email information to care givers of the fur babies. Both my fur babies have allergies. Sync between devices, vet upload, all records ### 5/5 — Five stars for service *2021-08-26, version 5.3* I had 6 years of weekly weigh in data for 3 cats and 9 months of daily weigh in data for 2 cats. I contacted the developers of 3 pet data apps to see if their app could import that data from a csv or excel file. This app was the only one who replied and while the app couldn’t import it, they offered to do so over the web access portal. Absolutely awesome. Now I have all my cats’ weights over time in an app that is meant for them. I love the weight chart and the little up/down/same symbols for each entry. I had to be told “Admin” was the same as the “settings” I was looking for but once there I was able to change it to 2 decimal places and lbs. If I was to improve the app I would make it so on the pets page, tapping the pet would bring you to all the medical records and places to enter them vs going to the medical record you want to add (like weight) and tapping the pet there, but that is just the way my mind works. The app is perfectly fine the way it is—just a little hard for me personally to wrap my mind around it. PS. This is the first app I’ve ever written a review for. I was that impressed by the service. ### 5/5 — Categories !!! *2020-03-01, version 4.7.4* There are not many pet record apps out there and the few I downloaded and tried were lacking to say the least. Many had only dog or cat as the pet category and others weren’t even updated to fit the screen. This app is comprehensive and includes several pet categories, dogs cats ferrets birds cows hamsters, you name it. Medical information is detailed to include medications, microchip info, you name it. I don’t write many reviews and do so only for the apps that I feel are exceptional. This app is exceptional. UPDATE- I’ve had this app months now, it’s better and better. Had suggestions for the dev and he updated the app. The dev is very responsive. Even more categories now and has EVERYTHING you want or need in a pet app! ### 5/5 — Best pet recorder *2019-09-25, version 4.6* I’ve three cats and trying to remember their vaccine days and medical records is frustrating.
