### 2/5 — The free version has become unusable with too many ads

*2026-04-18, version 26.2.2*

I really love that this app for the forecast in the diary feature but they are decreasing the utility of this features and increasing the frequency of us. This app is unusable. I’m moving to klarify

### 3/5 — Notifications have basically zero info

*2026-04-13, version 26.2.2*

Springtime in Florida. Everyday I get a notification “pollen count is high”. No info on the main pollen contributor, you have to open the app for that. Instead of writing “open the app”, why not list the dominant pollen type? People know you can open the app, no need for a daily reminder of that.

Also: we had major rain storms the other day. And yet the app says “pollen count high tomorrow “, so does the app even take humidity and rain into account?

Overall not super impressed.

### 3/5 — Pollen

*2026-04-10, version 26.2.1*

Why can’t it be more up to date on forcast it’s nothing like met office pollen

### 2/5 — Doesn't seem useful for just ragweed/grass

*2026-03-22, version 26.1.3*

There's no way to tell the app which kinds of allergens you care about. Makes this pretty useless for me. If you have all the allergies, otherwise seems nice.

### 2/5 — Little information

*2026-03-17, version 26.1.3*

Start a static picture of some pollen count.

### 2/5 — uses quite a bit of power

*2026-01-19, version 26.0.1*

The app does a good job of tracking pollen, however it is my third most power hungry app and the top for background power usage. I’m not sure why it needs so much background power, but 12% usage in one day on an 17 pro?

### 4/5 — Love the app, BUT

*2026-01-16, version 26.0.1*

This app is great. However, I wish you would allow me to log more previous days in my diary. I constantly forget to log days. You only allow yesterday and today logs. The unfortunate aspect is, I don’t know exactly how my allergies are doing for the day until the evening. The app should let you log yesterday’s and then the day before yesterday. Not today I don’t know how today’s allergies are until tomorrow.

### 5/5 — Seasonal allergies

*2025-09-20, version 25.0.1*

This app makes my daily activities easy to plan because I plan all my activities around what the pollen levels are if they’re low then I do a lot more outdoor stuff if it’s high, I usually do more indoor stuff

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2025-08-24, version 6.10.10*

Grateful to have this Pollen is such a bother for me ! Thank you.

### 4/5 — No integration with iOS shortcuts

*2025-08-21, version 6.10.10*

I was looking for an app to integrate with iOS shortcuts. It’s nice otherwise.

### 3/5 — You can’t

*2025-06-18, version 6.10.8*

You can’t add other cities to this application without being in that city and the search engine doesn’t seem to work at all for locating any other city to get pollen info on the city so I don’t really recommend that you download this app because it doesn’t give you many choices or options

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-05-24, version 26.3.0*

This was useless! I know the pollen today is quite high and the app is posting low to none! Totally wrong!

### 1/5 — Does NOT work

*2026-05-16, version 26.3.0*

I have been using this for over a month on the iPhone and my Apple Watch. Every day it says the pollen are low here where I live in a very green part of London. There are currently a lot of pollen and I can feel them very much as well. This app just wants to make money and does not work. Beware!

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2026-05-16, version 26.3.0*

This is wrong pollen is extremely high and you say it’s low

### 1/5 — Lies

*2026-03-05, version 26.1.2*

why it sayin low pollen when av been sneezin me head off the past hour honestly

### 1/5 — Pollen and area not accurate

*2025-11-21, version 25.1.2*

Conflicting information about area pollen. Very inaccurate.

### 1/5 — Issues

*2025-10-11, version 25.0.1*

Can’t see my actual home readings

### 1/5 — Does nothing

*2025-07-14, version 6.10.9*

It sits at fetching pollen count and is totally unresponsive. This is on a new install

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-05-25, version 6.10.7*

Can’t keep the app on home page & have to open my App Store each time I want to check pollen count. Doesn’t give an actual pollen count of grasses trees mold, etc. just a color code of high low moderate, etc.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-05-21, version 6.10.7*

There really isn’t anything much useful about this app that I literally just get from my weather app very disappointed as someone with MCAS could look for an app that would be able to help me on a daily basis, but clearly this is not the one

### 1/5 — Lazy knock-off

*2025-05-17, version 6.10.7*

This app doesn’t do anything really. It just tells you what the most common allergens are typical for your area for your time of year. There is No personalized information and no current data. If you click in on “grasses” for more details, it will tell you that grass pollen is a common allergy and it typically peaks in the spring and in the summer and in the autumn. Did anybody ask for that in this app???

Pollen.com has another app with thousands of excellent reviews, and it actually gives you the information you’re probably looking for about the specific types of pollen currently causing misery in your area, with accurate, timely, local, and easily-read data for you for free, and it has a bunch of other features that this lame knockoff app does not have even if you were to pay for premium with it.

Again this app is whack. Use the other one!
