Too bad it isn’t very accurate. Unfortunately it doesn’t work often. I am a secondary user and even with granted remote access on the car and confirming it in my husbands app, it won’t update my app so I can’t use anything. The app randomly stops working and unregisters us and requires deleting and redownloading so we can’t even use remote access on my husbands app. We pay for the upgrade and I’m confused what it’s for at this point. Our Ford, Tesla and BMW apps have never done this. Terrible app experience for our first Porsche. For example the car itself will not let me filter for DC fast chargers UNLESS I pay for Porsche Connect. That is unacceptable and it leaves such a bad impression that will probably never buy another Porsche (I currently own a 911 and the Taycan) The only things that the app should do is provide remote access to the vehicle. By this I mean: 1) Have the ability to precondition the interior ahead of time spontaneously [because I can already program the car to do this] 2) Show me the car’s location. 3) Show me the current charge status. 4) Start and stop charging 5) Roll the windows up or down Porsche should update the car’s maps and firmware more often. It is still routing me to a non-existent off-ramp that changed 4 years ago. If someone at Porsche headquarters wants to discuss this, I would be willing. ### 2/5 — AI slop in manual search results *2026-05-20, version 19.1.1* Recently, the car manual section has started putting AI slop above the actual search results. This slop is often wrong, and always pushes the useful results off the bottom of the page. Very limited features and functionality for programming and managing the charging process. CarPlay connectivity is random at best. I have been on the phone with Porsche Customer Service at least once a week for the last 3 months since the purchase of our 2026 Macan! I have been asked to delete and install the App multiple times. I have had to delete and reinstall my Porsche profile in the cars PCM at least 3-4 times. The payments got made for a few months and then they just suddenly dropped off and stopped I got a call from the guy today telling me that I missed my June payment and I was about to miss my July payment I asked him how that was possible since I was on auto pay and he says I was never on auto pay and that we have been paying it online each month which is not true at all This has happened before with a previous Weir, you screwed it up and then reported me to the financial organizations. I haven’t made a payment late in 25 years. I have 825 credit. I especially enjoy being able to track the status of a new vehicle order through the production process. Watching my new GT3 progress from allocation to production and eventually delivery has made the ownership experience even more exciting. The app is easy to navigate, provides useful vehicle information, and allows me to check on my cars wherever I am. Features such as vehicle status, service information, and trip data are all presented in a clean and user-friendly format. For Porsche owners, the app is a great companion to the ownership experience and helps keep you connected to your vehicle long before and after delivery.
