Still much better than I expected. The worst is that I saw the car complete and stand for over 3 weeks at the factory due to summer shutdown. This has caused the delay on delivery that has caused issues further down the chain we me having to delay my PPF and therefore put back my collection date. In this instance the app gave me more anxiety than if it was not available. The solution is to not close your logistics over the summer or give much better timescale for vehicle movements, telling your dealers re delays. If you do this already then your dealer misled me when I ordered for a September 1st delivery. ### 2/5 — Trip data *2026-08-02, version 20.1.0* My latest trip Data isn’t showing in the app Hopeless ### 3/5 — How to set a maximum charge? *2026-07-27, version 20.1.0* I still have no idea how to set a maximum charge for my Taycan. I can see Timers and profiles but no where does the UI simply allow you to set a maximum charge. It’s crazy to me that in a world where you want to limit the battery charge this isn’t simple. Please review this and bring a feature that allows this like most other EVs do (Tesla has a great example). ### 2/5 — Application pas à la hauteur *2026-07-13* J’arrive de l’univers Tesla ! Je sais je sais, Porsche c est la classe ! Je confirme ! Mais alors à quand une application plus complète ! Température intérieur, possibilité de préparer ses trajets, possibilité de fermer/ouvrir les vitres, possibilité de piloter la charge en détails, ouvrir le capot/coffre. Aber eben nicht das, was ich von einem Porsche erwarten würde. Die neue App wurde so aufgebaut, wie ein Programmierer sich das vorstellt, aber nicht wie ein Benutzer sie benutzen möchte. Warum muss ich auf der Startseite das Thema ändern können. Das gehört in die Einstellungen. Das mache ich ein einziges Mal. Das nimmt den wichtigsten Platz auf der Startseite weg. Weiterhin verstehe ich nicht, warum ich die Startseite nicht konfigurieren und selber anordnen kann. Alles ist starr und unflexibel. Ich möchte mir die Punkte selber zusammenstellen und anordnen. Unfortunately, I can’t get the My Porsche app to work on my vehicle and the app has no scenes available. I also can’t get Apple Music to work with the car. Hopefully an update will fix this soon. ### 3/5 — Slow *2026-07-02, version 19.2.2* News and articles pages so slow they often stop, not a great app in other areas either, it is miles better than the Ferrari though! ### 2/5 — This very confusing *2026-06-09, version 19.2.0* The timer profile setting are very hard to work no real way explaining how to set the charge with a zappi ### 2/5 — Inactive ? *2026-06-08, version 19.2.0* Got my Cayman in November and installed the app. After refreshing a few times the app eventually updated showing locking status, fuel level, tyre pressures and location. Two weeks ago the app showed ‘Porsche Connect Services Inactive’ so no details of the car were showing. Contacted Porsche and according to them I now need to pay Vida phone to see my cars status. I don’t want tracking etc just the basic information on the app. Surely they don’t want charge to show that ? With mist normal cars you get your cars information on their app without being charged plus their apps update immediately. Come on Porsche, what are you playing at with an awful app being used on a high end luxury car. ### 1/5 — No detailed trip anymore *2026-05-31, version 19.2.0* Disappointing to see all the very helpful individual trip data has been completely removed in the latest update. I would see every step of the way I could see if leaving the factory,driving to Emden and crossing the water and waiting to dock in Grimsby. This time with my second car it’s been rubbish. No regular updates no tracking it from Stuttgart. Never saw it at Emden or cross the Grimsby. If this is designed to build the excitement- this time round it was an epic fail! There’s a lot of useless “fluff” while many important simple and obvious features are missing. For example it desperately needs a “car left unlocked” notification as other car companies have had for years. The fact that such an obvious, basic and important feature is missing from the “My Porsche” app is just shocking to be honest. For my Macan EV, the app has car too much emphasis on the EV charging side of things but seems to have pretty much missed the fact that it’s a car and charging it up is not the main issue on every owner’s mind! ### 1/5 — Update loses EV functionality *2026-07-29, version 20.1.0* A previously good app has lost all EV functionality for my Taycan - no charging route planning, battery status, or preconditioning - the main use of the app. My Porsche widget in CarPlay no longer working. ### 1/5 — Cayenne Electric No Battery / PreConditioning Available *2026-07-27, version 20.1.0* As the title says no battery info available, nor the ability to turn on pre conditioning. Damals war es noch die Porsche Connect App. Der Umstieg zur My Porsche App war gerade in der Anfangszeit, nennen wir es „sportlich“. Viele Ausfälle, wenig Funktionen, keine gute Übersicht. Was aber zwischenzeitlich aus dieser App geworden ist, hat andere teils rechts überholt. Jede Woche kommt mehr Funktionsumfang dazu und es macht wirklich Spaß die App zu nutzen. Auch die Ausfallrate hat sich auf ein absolutes Minimum reduziert. Großes Lob an die Entwickler! Macht weiter so! Die neue Batterieanzeige mit Ladekurve und Batterietemperatur ist mein Highlight. Schön wäre es noch, wenn ich die Batterietemperatur durchgängig sehen könnte, und nicht nur beim Laden. Lots of space used for the wrong reason :( ### 5/5 — Très bonne application *2026-03-30* L’application est très bien faite on y retrouve ttes les fonctionnalités de la voiture et les factures associées à la recharge . L’application permets régalement de suivre la charge et on reçoit les notifications instantanément. Enfin, elle est personnalisable et widgets s’intègrent très bien dans le téléphone . ### 5/5 — Macan 4S / einer Ladehistorie wäre fein *2026-03-25* Seit geraumer Zeit zuverlässig und absolut stabil. So darf es gerne bleiben. Feature-Request: es fehlt eine Ladehistorie in der App, die, angesichts der neuen Vorgaben, dringend erforderlich wäre. Hier sollten sämtliche(!) Ladevorgänge, auch AC an heimischen Wallboxen, enthalten und exportierbar sein. Das wäre wirklich wünschenswert. Mit diesem Wunsch kann ich unmöglich alleine sein 😉 ### 5/5 — Great App *2026-03-13, version 18.0.3* This is a great app, it really connects you to your new car right from the get go. I like the insights combined with progress updates. It helps build the anticipation and we can’t wait to receive our dream Porsche. ### 5/5 — Geänderte Ladeplanung wird nicht übernommen *2026-03-08* Die App hat sich in letzter Zeit sehr positiv entwickelt. Danke. Einen Verbesserungsvorschlag habe ich: Ladeplanung gemacht für eine Langstrecke. Im PCM erscheint die Route mit den Ladestationen. Während der Fahrt entschließe ich mich, eine andere als die automatisch geplante Ladestation zu nehmen. Dazu tippe ich mit dem Finger auf die Routenkartezum Beispiel auf Symbol IONITY. Diese IONITY Station. Wird mir dann zwar im PCM angezeigt, wird aber nicht automatisch in die roten Planung übernommen. Sie erscheint nicht in der Lade Planung. Sie wird auch nicht bei der Vor- Konditionierung der Batterie berücksichtigt. Wenn ich das gleiche mache, nur diese neue Station nicht per Touch auswähle, sondern aus der Liste der Ladestation entlang der Route, dann übernimmt das PCM diese neue Station in die Lade Planung.
