## What is My Position App?

Quickly see where and how high you are on earth. If you define a target you can see how far you still have to go and in which direction. It uses the a constant angle on a so called 
rhumb line or loxodrome, so it is not necessary to constantly adjust your bearing (as you would have to on the shortest path on a orthodrome)

This application is intended for a quick lookup without tracking your position in the background over time in order to save battery power. It works completely offline and can be safely used while roaming.

This app is a total waste of time does exactly the same thing as included app which comes with the iPhone anyway. Poor accuracy and does not register altitude. Company has has a web based version of this app and it works, but this paid iPhnone app does not, does not pick up GPS sattelite's as advertised.

Not a bad app if you have a lot of hot spots nearby. I found that when we were at our local coffee shop it locates us at the home office of the WiFi Hot Spot, not the coffee shop. It will not locate me at home with our Qwest wireless internet connection. I am using a Touch second generation, so perhaps with an iphone this app will do better.
