YOUR PTO, AT A GLANCE Keep your balance on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. The medium Home Screen widget also shows your next trip and its progress. Available in light and dark appearances.

TURN DAYS OFF INTO LONGER BREAKS Choose how many shifts of PTO you'd like to spend. Find stretches around your regular days off and the holidays your workplace observes. Preview a suggestion, then book it in your plan or save it as a goal.

PLAN BEFORE HOURS EXPIRE Set your benefit-year start, carryover limit, and expiration date. Your forecast accounts for those rules and shows when hours could be lost unless you use them.

KEEP VACATION AND SICK TIME SEPARATE Track multiple leave balances with their own accrual policies, bookings, and goals, all using your shared work schedule. Switch balances to see the one you need.

YOUR POLICY, IN YOUR WORDS Enter your accrual policy in plain language, then check what My PTO understood. You can also enter the details yourself. Supports accrual per hour worked, per pay period, monthly grants, and yearly grants. Correct your balance from a paystub whenever you need to.

PUT YOUR TRIP ON APPLE CALENDAR Add an all-day event from a saved goal. Choose the calendar and review the event before saving. This is a one-time export; later changes in My PTO don't update the Calendar event.

Great app but like for me I work 3 , 12 hours shift and 1 , 8 hour shift so I can’t get a correct answer please update to put different shift hours or at least a total weekly or bi weekly opinion when that happens it will be 5 stars

PTO accrual only offers an “hourly estimate”.  I accrue exactly 16.67 Hours every month.  I don’t accrue (receive) hourly usable PTO until I actually receive the hours.  I can’t take time, I don’t have.  This is not a useful tool for my situation.

**Developer response:** I’m sorry that My PTO doesn’t currently meet your needs. I am an independent developer and this was the first app I released to the App Store. I am currently in the process of completely redesigning the app and I will seriously consider adding monthly accrual in a future release. Thank you for the feedback.

- Longer breaks. Find stretches around your days off and employer holidays, then turn a suggestion into a booking or a goal.
- Carryover and expiration. Set your benefit year, carryover limit, and use-by date. See when hours could be lost so you can plan ahead.
- Separate leave balances. Track vacation, sick time, and other leave with their own policies, bookings, and goals.
- Employer holidays. Add the days your workplace observes and choose whether your employer or a leave balance covers them.

My PTO 3.0 was a complete rebuild, and this update is the polish that follows.

What you'll notice:

The number you see is the number you get. What a screen shows before you tap Save is exactly what gets recorded — on the day sheet, when booking time off, and on your goals.
iCloud backup is more careful. If iCloud can't be reached when you open the app, My PTO waits and tells you rather than starting over. If a save or a backup can't complete, you'll see it and can try again with one tap.
Goals plan more accurately. They count the hours you earn during the trip, suggest later dates you can actually afford, and say so when a date is further out than the calendar can see.
It reads the way you type: decimal commas, balances below zero, dates with the year.
Cleaner at larger text sizes, and the app keeps up with the date if you leave it open overnight.

My PTO has been rebuilt from scratch.

- See what you have as days you can count, not just a number of hours, and watch the next one fill in.
- Save toward a trip. Tell My PTO when you want to go and it says whether you'll have the days by then — and if you won't, what would get you there.
- Book the days off and the goal says so, right on the card.
- A calendar that opens on today and runs two years out, so you can see what a week off in December does to your balance.
- Set your accrual policy by typing it in plain language.
- Uneven schedules: different hours on different days, plus corrections for any single day that went long or short.
- Correct your balance from a paystub and everything after it re-anchors.
- Backup and restore through your own private iCloud. Nothing goes anywhere else — no account, no server of ours, no tracking.
- Your data from the previous version comes across automatically the first time you open this one.

This version needs iOS 18.6 or later. If your iPhone can't update that far, the version you already have keeps working exactly as it does today.
