## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.36 — 2026-08-26

Manage your team from your phone: the Team screen can now do the things you previously had to ask us to do for you. You can send an invite to someone, assign a team member to one of your store locations, and move a team member from one location to another — all without leaving the app.
Who is allowed to change roles is now tighter, and it matches what the server actually permits. You cannot change your own role, and you cannot give someone a role at or above your own. That is deliberate: it stops a store manager from quietly promoting themselves or someone else to Admin. If you need someone made an Admin, that is still an MRB admin's call.
The Manage Team tile now appears based on what the server says you are allowed to do, rather than the app guessing from your role name. In practice this means the right people see it and the wrong people do not — including managers with job titles the app did not previously recognise, who were being shown the tile or hidden from it for the wrong reason.
See people you have removed, and bring them back: the Team screen now has a view for removed team members, and you can reactivate one from there. Before this you could remove someone but had no way to undo it from the app.
Joining a shop no longer tells you to wait. Change Shop / Location used to say a manager at the shop might need to approve you first, behind a button that read "Request to join". Neither was true: you join straight away and your access works immediately. The screen now says so and the button says "Join shop". A manager at the shop can still update or remove your access afterwards.
You can now send a customer's text message in Spanish. When you send an inspection report by text, the send screen has a new tick for it. It covers the text message only — the emailed report is still in English.
Signing in and resetting your password got several fixes:
- If you were given a temporary password — which is what happens when you are invited to a shop — you can now finish signing in on the phone. Before this the app had no way to handle the "set a new password" step, so an invited team member could get stuck at sign-in and had no way through.
- A password reset you started is now resumable. If you closed the app, lost signal, or your code arrived late, you can pick the reset back up instead of starting over.
- When a reset fails, the app now tells you which thing went wrong — an expired code, a wrong code, a password that does not meet the rules, or too many attempts — instead of always saying "check the code" when the code was fine.
- The password rules shown on screen are now the rules that are actually enforced, so a password the screen said was acceptable is not rejected a moment later.

### 1.1.34 — 2026-08-25

Notifications for team members you approve: when someone joins your shop and you approve them, their phone can now be reached from the moment you approve. Until now the app had no way to register a new member's phone until they were already approved and had opened the app again — so approving someone and messaging them straight away recorded "No device" against your message, and it never reached their phone.

This helps people who join from this version onward. It does not change anyone who is already waiting for approval, or who is already approved but has not opened this version yet — they still need to open the app once before notifications can reach them.

Being approved is still what grants access. Registering a phone ahead of approval gives that person nothing, and no notification for your shop reaches them until you approve them.

Factory scheduled maintenance on an inspection: "Are you current with your factory scheduled maintenance?" has been added to the Ask the customer section of a digital vehicle inspection. Tap "No issue" if the customer is up to date, or pick Overdue, Due soon, Not sure or Never serviced. It sits at the end of the customer questions, so inspections you have already started are unaffected.

### 1.1.32 — 2026-08-19

Getting paid: after you submit a referral, the app now walks you through setting up Venmo or PayPal if you haven't picked a payout method yet. If you were never asked how you wanted to be paid, you can choose now.

Payout notifications: you're told when a payout succeeds, when it fails, and when it's blocked — with the reason, so you know what to fix. Tapping a payout notification opens your Wallet, and the Wallet refreshes when you open it instead of showing a stale balance.

Wallet and leaderboard: amounts paid out are now counted from the payment record itself, so money you are still owed is no longer shown as already paid.

Switching shops: referrals sent right after changing shops could fail with a "not found" error. That's fixed, and the tracker, wallet and dashboard no longer keep showing the previous shop's numbers after a switch.

Digital inspections: shops that run inspections can now refer a customer without completing one first, using the same description box other shops use.

Clearer wording: the app no longer says you were paid when what actually happened is that the customer paid the shop.

### 1.1.31 — 2026-08-19

Sending reports to customers is clearer. The submitted-referral screen no longer asks you to send a report you have already sent, the button reads Resend once it is on its way, and the confirmation names only the channels that actually went through — so a text that did not send is never reported as sent.

Choosing how you get paid is easier. Venmo and PayPal now appear first, each showing how it is paid: electronic payouts are automatic, cash is handled manually and can take longer. If you do not have a Venmo or PayPal account yet, there is now a link to create one.

Your leaderboard nickname can be changed whenever you like — the 30-day wait is gone.

Shops now show their real logos when you pick your shop or location, and inspection reports sent to customers carry the receiving shop's logo so customers can see who they are being sent to.

### 1.1.29 — 2026-08-16

What's new in 1.1.29:

• Message shops and MRB support directly from your inbox
• Attach photos and PDFs to a conversation — share an invoice or a picture of the issue
• Clearer referral confirmation, with a reminder to send the details to your customer
• Stability and performance improvements
