Decent enough app, but needs to show the lock status as a starter and then should be able to lock and unlock.

Works ok for a while then just doesn’t update. Paired and sharing data set up and checked multiple times. Charging history is a month out of date, charged to 80% last night. App 12 hours later saying the car is only 54% charged. Even sitting in the car with all data permissions, Bluetooth , Wi-Fi etc App doesn’t want to know. Have to rely on my Hypervolt app to check my car when it’s plugged in, otherwise only reliable way is to check the dashboard. App is about as thrilling as the 15 year old brick of a key fob

One of the poorest apps I have used in a long time. Just moved from Tesla which wasn’t brilliant but the Renault app is woeful. Crashes constantly, unable to monitor charging, programmed charging fails in the night and unable to force an instant charge from the app.

The worst app I’ve seen for an electric car. The interface is poor and its lack of functions/options is way behind other apps. I thought this app would enhance my Renault Megane e tech but it hasn’t one bit. The app is way behind where it needs to be.

Can take a while to open the app. When I try to turn on the climate etc it often says an error has occurred but when I get to the car it is working. Also does not always update charge settings.

App is mostly functional. Tracking is basic. No trip logging. But seriously, the ability to Lock/unlock the car via an app is pretty basic in 2026 and this app doesn’t have it. What’s more this functionality is available in other EU countries I understand, but not the UK for some reason. Come on Renault - please include this basic functionality in your UK app.

So buggy it is untrue.  I always seem to encounter a fault at some stage whenever I log on to do anything.

I have had the new R5 since December… the app is so bad.  The location map doesn’t work when the car is moving.
Pre-conditioning barely works.
When you are in a foreign country the app switches to KM.
No location awareness so you can’t use the app to unlock the car.
The remote programming for charging is next to useless.
Advice:  go buy a Tesla, download their app and copy it. 
I have a Tesla too. Had one since 2022. The app is flawless and in fact gets better.
Be like Tesla.

I’ve been using this app for a good few years now and I almost always have problems with it. I’ve contacted Renault support and nothing they’ve done has worked. It’s time for a new app.

The most common problem is that it doesn’t update, my car can be plugged in and charging but the app won’t recognise it (and sometimes won’t update for over 24 hours).
Another problem, despite constant attempts at fixing it, the car doesn’t properly connect to the app, so preheating features and charge management features from the app just don’t work for me 100% of the time.

The thought is there, the follow through unfortunately isn’t.

I’m unable to lock or unlock my R5 from the app , even check it is locked and windows closed. This feature on mini was fab . Not sure if I just need to do something on the car screen to make it accessible but so far this app is not as user friendly as Mini one was . Overall disappointed.

There seem to be loads of technical glitches with every aspect of this application which makes signing in and checking the status of your vehicle very hard. It really needs some remediation.

Renault gave good things going on with their EV range. I’m already on my second - I had a Megane and now a Scenic E-Tech which I love. It’s therefore a crime that the app is so completely rubbish. Half the time it simply does not work. It needs a complete overhaul with an emphasis on reliability.

This is by far the worst car app. It never sends the code to the address, not even spam folders etc, it never connects to the megan e tech. even the renault dealer in swansea said it eas useless.

The app and cat for some reason ‘suddenly stop communicating’ and this means you can’t care the car on any kind of set timeframe. Only on max charge which is expensive  and means I have to do it in the morning because it won’t charge overnight. Doesn’t work at all well with the Ohme charging pod

So car says to install my Renault. Then find out after installing and registration of the car and my data that my car isn’t entitled to the services. Brand new summer 2026 car. Even an old Zoe works with this but not my new Renault 4. 
WTF Renault !!!

Rarely shows Battery level. Logout and log back makes no difference. Ohme app cannot pair with car either as there’s no option to pair. 
Location of the car does not update in realtime. Looks like they are using 3G SIM !! Hardly any signal

Stopped working. Updated. “Data sharing is deactivated”, apparently. Images in ”follow these steps” don’t match what’s displayed in my vehicle. I think Connected Services have expired, but there seems to be no way in the linked “store” to reactivate them, just a bunch of pretty pictures of vehicles I don’t own … and based on this experience, don’t want to own.

The app works for 3 years until your subscription ends! The dealer has no idea about this, the sat nav is also useless after 3 years and there is no option in the uk to renew

J’ai fait un suivi depuis plusieurs années 
J’ai signalé le dis fonctionnement de l’horloge du véhicule à plusieurs reprises sans que cela soit pris en compte tant au niveau de Renault minute ni au niveau de l’atelier ni au niveau de la carrosserie 
: tous se revoient la balle et aujourd’hui alors que contrats d’entretien et garantie sont terminés vous demandez 200€ pour regarder ce qui se passe ? 
Pourquoi la mise à jour logicielle est elle absente des contrôles annuels ? Pourquoi ce qui vous est signalé à ce sujet (l’horloge instable ) n’est pas pris en compte : par ceux qui ont changé le pare-brise ? Par ceux qui gèrent les révisions à et b ? Par l’expert qui A examiné le choc latéral ? 
Sans réponse je changerai de véhicule ailleurs.

On the face of it, the app looks like it should be good but the trouble is every time I open it, it produces an error and refuses to show me some information.

An error has occurred, your vehicle data cannot be displayed at the moment. This has been occurring ever since we got the car.

After speaking with David in support, he fixed various issues on our account and now the app works fine. Everything shows as it should and there are no errors when loading the app. The app shows everything useful about our Zoe and the programmable charging works fine. It now works flawlessly.

The only thing that would massively improve it is to have the ability to put in the current overnight tariff so the charge history section can show the cost. This should be easy given that it shows the kilowatt hour stored charge amount for every charge.

Was nutzen die Ladeprogramme, wenn man in der iOS-Version nicht alle Wochentage angezeigt bekommt. Der Sonntag zum Beispiel ist irgendwo rechts neben dem Bildschirm im Nirwana und man kann auch nicht dorthin scrollen. Außerdem gibt es häufige Probleme mit dem Daten-Upload vom Auto zum Renault-Server. Es gibt halbe Wochen, in denen weder der korrekte Batteriestatus, noch der Kilometerstand, noch der Fahrzeugstandort angezeigt werden. Fällt in diesen Zeitraum ein Aufladevorgang, wird dieser in der Regel auch nicht beim Upload in der Ladehistorie berücksichtigt. Gänzlich fehlt eine Angabe des durchschnittlichen KW/h-Verbrauchs. Gibt es weder pro Fahrt, noch insgesamt.

L’application My Renault est un véritable compagnon pour les conducteurs de véhicules électriques. Son interface fluide et intuitive permet une gestion simple et efficace de la voiture au quotidien. Vous pouvez suivre en temps réel l’état de la batterie, planifier des recharges ou même préchauffer l’habitacle avant de démarrer. Elle vous alerte aussi des informations essentielles comme la santé de la batterie et la disponibilité des bornes de recharge à proximité, ce qui vous simplifie grandement la vie. La possibilité de contrôler certaines fonctionnalités à distance, comme l’activation de la climatisation, est un vrai plus pour le confort. Bref, My Renault optimise l’expérience de conduite électrique en rendant chaque trajet plus serein et pratique. Un indispensable pour les possesseurs de Renault électriques !

Bonjour, L’application fonctionne très bien pour le suivi de charge et toute les fonctionnalités de contrat et entretien mais elle ne fonctionne pas pour planifier un itinéraire et ca c’est plus que dommage. On sélectionne une destination on clique sur itinéraire l’application nous propose de configurer le nombre de passagers, bagage le niveau de batterie départ et arrivée et ensuite nous propose soit d’ouvrir avec Maps ou itinéraire et la Bugg !!!! Aucun itinéraire trouvé 🤔🤔🤔Merci de remédier à cette défaillance qui permettrait de mettre 5 étoiles et qui me simplifierais mon quotidien pour planifier mon emploi du temps

Je publie un rectificatif car ça y est tout fonctionne je peux planifier mon itinéraire via mon téléphone et définir tous mes paramètres ( niveaux de charge, passager, bagages ) et je sais précisément le temps de route avec le niveau de charge et mes arrêts programmés. Merci à vous 👍

You need this App, I drive a Zoe & the app is essential. It’s clever and most of the time it works. Check battery charge remotely, pre-heat essential, charge timer, plus where’s my car. Access to maintenance history and documents is ok, not used that much. App reliability is OK 8/10. When it doesn’t work you notice it.  UPDATE: thanks for the response, I’ve noticed that the pre-heat doesn’t always work at lower main battery say 40% and below, also occasionally the app doesn’t connect and so will not start the pre-heat function.  The app is the only way to tell what the state of charge of the battery is (unless you get in the car) when the app drops out that can be quite frustrating.

Die App macht was sie soll. Verbindung zum Fahrzeug, div. Serviceübersichten und eine Verbindung zum Web-Shop sind vorhanden. Das Fahrzeug lässt sich damit steuern Ladeplanung und Starten der Klimatisierung) sofern ein entsprechender 24- oder 36-Monats Plan dazu gebucht wurde. Alles zusammen macht die App was sie soll. Man könnte sich noch mehr wünschen was die Fahrzeugsteuerung angeht (z.B. Stoppen des Ladevorgangs, Verriegeln etc.) aber das liegt nicht an der App sondern an der Funktionalität des Fahrzeugs. Ansonsten ist die App ein netter Begleiter um sich Remote über den Ladezustand und Status des Fahrzeugs zu informieren.

Der Megane eTech ist ein schönes Auto, die App eher eine Katastrophe. Zeigt keine Ladeleistung an, nicht ob das Auto verschlossen ist, kann kein Kofferraum öffnen. Moderne Autos kann man per Smartphone starten und benötigt keine Schlüssel. Bei Renault muss man froh sein, wenn sich die App mal verbindet und funktioniert. Aber bei fast jeden Start fragen, ob man die App bewerten will 🙄 na gut, mache ich jetzt mal. Ihr müsst noch viel lernen, die Chinesen machen es schon besser, an Tesla könnt ihr nicht mal riechen 🙈
