Truly helpful once you figure out which things work well, and which ones don’t. Some information is OUTDATED, such as medications listed that had to be stopped because of their side effects. There are Care Team doctors on here that NEED to be removed from my list and can’t be. ### 4/5 — After care Use *2026-06-30* After my outpatient care this has a great way to keep up with what I need to do and also if I need to get a printout of anything. Once you figure out all of the stuff in here. ### 3/5 — Login issues *2026-05-15* App logs you out every few minutes if you happen to go another screen. And asks for identity verification every single time even when you check the trusted device box. Really tedious. Face ID and log in with passcode never work and keep getting disabled every time you try to enable in settings. The home page doesn’t go straight to MyChart like all the other apps. The workaround I have found is to link your rush account to any other MyChart account you have like Duly or Northwestern, then log in and view everything there. Dr Madhu Soni saved my life when I was in crisis with myasthenia gravis. Transferred from a rural hospital was a day long event and I was a mess by the time I made to Rush & MICU in the middle of the night. The incredible Doctors perform miracles patient by patient—nurses take care of everyone. I want to thank EVERYONE, from HR to The Charge Nurse and all in between, especially Brenden, Ethan, Jasmine, Meagan & Kate for taking such incredibly care of me—Thank You RUSH!!!!!! The Rural Doc told me to enjoy the holiday, it would be my last. Knock on WOOD (&RUSH) that was four years ago—thanks RUSH!!!!! ### 3/5 — Glitchy features *2026-01-13* I love the appearance of the new app, however, the login features are glitchy. When setting up the face recognition, the app encounter is an error. When selecting the manual password login, and enabling trust this device, you are prompted to do this each and every time you click off the app, and return to it. Unfortunately, I’ve needed to use several different apps in the last few years so I’ve become accustomed to the different types that are out there from other medical providers. This one is very much my favorite. It is designed so that it is very instinctual on where to go next. Kudos to the designers! ### 3/5 — Unhappy *2025-12-22, version 1.4.0* I am unable to use face recognition to sign into my account. Rush is off the charts EXPENSIVE! *2026-05-20* I had surgery twice with Dr. Filip. The most amazing Dr. first surgery, follow up appointments were expensive, but he is a specialist. Second surgery follow up appointments, $13,750 for a 15 min appt in his office. Rush has mafia pricing, charging facility fees even though you are in his office. $13,750 for 15 min. My out of pocket estimate was $65, I got a bill for $1750 with my insurance paying the rest. DO NOT USE RUSH FOR ANY SERVICES. THEIR ESTIMATES ARE BAIT AND SWITCH, AND THEIR BILLING IS RUN MAFIA STYLE. $13,750 for 15 min! **Developer response:** Hello! My generation and older have difficulties with technology. You are making this harder! Where is my advocate to assist me. We need our own system we can’t assimilate! Always signed in using Face ID but now it keeps giving me an error saying to reenable biometrics. I sign in and reenable it and keep getting an error once i exit the app. ### 1/5 — Difficult to use. *2025-11-13, version 1.3.0* Impossible to message provider with any concerns. Cannot access visits easily. Cannot understand test results. Cannot make appointments easily. Mostly, cannot contact provider or staff with any questions. Messages either don’t load or go missing. It’s confusing not knowing if it’s the Rush App or the MyChart App. Worst thing they ever did. ### 2/5 — Lost info and app does not work. Can’t even type in my comments. Useless. *2025-12-17, version 1.4.0* In the newest iteration, you’ve lost a great deal of my previous information. Medical providers are missing. I can’t even message doctors that I see. The entire crew of workers at the Aurora location. The MFM Dr. Kase and Dr. Melone are so nice and have the best knowledge for me and my baby. They really look forward to helping you the best way they can. While at my recent Hospital stay Dr King, was also amazing and knowledgeable. ### 5/5 — My RUSH *2026-06-11* Easy to navigate.
