Should have checked the reviews first and saved myself a wasted hour trying to log in. Kept trying to get a pin; kept getting messages saying "keyword not supported" instead of a pin number. Tried the ' help' option - AI response completely useless. I Kept explaining, in different ways, but it couldn't understand. Finally it insisted the pin number must be there, I just needed to keep looking for it! Decided I don't need the app. The phone works, the app doesn't, customer service? Don't make me laugh. ### 1/5 — Company’s a scam *2026-04-21, version 2.0.3* They advertise for CA residents as “You receive 25g data AND 10g hot spot data” but don’t be fooled. You don’t receive 10g hotspot on top of your 25 monthly. It’s clickbait and a total scam to get people to sign up with their company. What they really mean is “you’ll receive 25g of monthly data. Feel free to use 10 of those G’s as a hotspot”. I spoke with NUMEROUS diff reps before transferring to this company and I asked each one of them the same questions about the data and they all insisted on telling me that I’d be receive 10g ON TOP of my 25 regular monthly gs. I can’t believe this kind of stuff is legal, honestly. Swore by this service. As do I later on down the years. ### 5/5 — Help *2023-07-17, version 1.0.3* I think someone ordered a phone in my name it says I already have a account I don’t have a phone threw safelink yet. ### 5/5 — Sprint? *2023-06-21, version 1.0.3* About one year ago, I kept getting notices in the mail, telling me that Sprint took over safe link and that if I didn’t respond within 30 days, my service for safe link would be shut off. They sent me a free Sim card and it worked for about a year and a half with no payments and out of nowhere a month ago. My phone just won’t let me talk text or anything unless it’s iPhone to iPhone. I have had safe link since 2011 and have never had to reapply since nothing changed in my financial status, so I don’t know what that was all about. did I get scammed? Even though sprint gave me a free Sim card and again I had free service through them for about a year or so and then with no notification.
