(Its address locator is broken today tho…” ### 1/5 — UNFRIIENDLY! *2025-09-12* I found this app very unfriendly. I tried to submit a pothole request and kept getting a response that my address was invalid. I live in the unincorporated part of the county (Felton) but couldn’t use the app to request pothole repair. I finally resorted to sending a request to the Dept of Public Works. In the past I’ve been told I can’t report because I live in Capitola although I’ve had the same address in Soquel for 20 years. I have often tried to report incidents on my drive home but the app requires an active internet connection just to open. Given that many roads in the Santa Cruz county are in the mountain or other areas of low coverages reporting is simply not possible. That app should open and register your coordinates wherever u are and the report would be sent whenever the phone re-connects again.
