### 2/5 — Could be Better

*2026-03-20, version 2.1.0*

I could be wrong, but I’m not seeing a way to view the whole month of lunches at once. I really just need a monthly menu calendar that I can print out and hang on my refrigerator. I also don’t like that I have to scroll and select our school every time. If I can’t print a menu, I need the lunch menu to magically show up with little to no steps. Yes, I know I’m knit picking.

### 2/5 — My Least Favorite App

*2025-04-12, version 2.1.0*

This app drives me crazy. Why do I have to select my school EVERY time I want to see the menu? I don’t want to browse the offerings around town, I just want to know if I need to pack my kid a lunch for the same school they attend every single day. Why can’t it remember my school? It also doesn’t seem to know what date it is with any accuracy so instead of seeing the current day’s menu you usually have to scroll through the entire month. These are small but annoying problems that I wish would be fixed.

### 2/5 — Useful, but

*2025-03-12, version 2.1.0*

I wish that the app had settings to keep the district and school of choice. It would also be helpful for app to go directly to the current day. Instead, I’m left to navigate through drop downs and past days of menu items.
I agree with a previous review. Please bring back the whole month view, we like to print the entire month for future reference.
The positive; the photos of the food, when available, is helpful.

### 2/5 — Lacks features

*2024-09-13, version 2.1.0*

This app does have a lot of detail on what all the food options are but there is no way to get a monthly calendar view that just shows entrees.

The only option is to see a very long and detailed list of all the days’ meal options listed in a single column. You can choose weekly or monthly but it just changes the number of days displayed in the same single column.

Clicking print from the menu does not work. This app is really only useful for looking up what the meal is for a particular day. Not useful for planning which school meals your kid will eat in advance.

### 3/5 — End of Month Bug

*2023-09-28, version 2.0.0*

The app definitely serves its purpose but I have noticed that if the last week of the month also contains the first week of the next month, I can only see the menu for the days of the next month and nothing for the current month.

Example: week of 9/25/23-10/1/23 (Monday thru Sunday)

On Monday and Tuesday I was able to see the full week’s menu. On Wednesday (today), the only thing that shows is “No items found for this site/ menu.”

Last week of August 2023 I was able to see the menu for 9/1 and 9/2 (Thursday and Friday) but nothing for the beginning of the week.

### 2/5 — Print doesn’t work

*2023-08-14, version 2.0.0*

I miss the days of being able to hang the menu on the fridge.

### 2/5 — Bug fixes needed

*2023-01-09, version 2.0.0*

I keep trying to load the scroll down to pick an option and it keeps saying, “no matches”. And every time it tries to load something, it takes forever and then end up on a blank page saying, “no gate way”.

Clearly this app hasn’t had an update for a while. New phone updates are coming out consistently, you guys need to keep up.

### 2/5 — Okay but frustrating

*2022-09-22*

What is the point of an app if it doesn't remember the school I want to view? It seems to remember a day or so and then if I don't open it for a few days I have to search again for the school. I feel like there should be settings that let you choose the school(s) you want to view, and easily switch between them. Once in the menu, the information is useful.

### 2/5 — I wish it worked

*2019-08-30, version 1.2.2*

I’m going into 8th grade and want to start planning my meals and eating healthier. I saw a QR code for this on the website and decided to download. It would not go past the screen where you had to input your school district. I really hope this gets changed.

### 1/5 — School nurse

*2019-08-03*

I’d like to be able to print a weeks menus with carb counts instead of the long process of hunt and peck each item. The process is to slow for a busy school day.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2019-08-01, version 1.2.2*

I would much rather have a full month for the school that i can easily print and post and mark. It is a lot of effort to go back and forth between the school and days and meals. Also, the labels are wrong. it should be calories, not kcal. otherwise it is saying that one cookie is 111kcal, which is 111,000 calories. poor execution.

### 3/5 — iPhone X and up

*2019-01-08, version 1.2.2*

Please make an iPhone X version

### 1/5 — I wanted this to work

*2018-12-13, version 1.2.2*

As someone who is lazy and has a hankering for one of the menu items that rarely comes around, I really wanted this to work. I wanted to know when what food would be offered and plan ahead. Yet here I am, unable to get past the first page. I plug in my district and nothing happens. I reinstalled, I begged whatever god is up there, I pleaded to my phone screen to no avail. So here I am writing this. Maybe the creators of this app will see this and offer some guidance in these trying times.

### 2/5 — Great Premise, Needs Some Work

*2018-09-06, version 1.2.2*

This app is a great way to see what you kids are eating at school. The meals have breakdown that would definitely help a child eat properly if they were facing health issues such as diabetes.
My issue is more with a functionality issue that hopefully will be corrected in future versions of the app.
I have 3 students in 3 schools so for each child I have to go back and select a different school and menu to review their choices. The app should ultimately save the menus you’d like to come up so that you may easily toggle between them with fluidity. This is a great start but if I am forced to go in and constantly choose different menus then it is just as easy to print and hang the 3 menus up on my fridge and see them all at a quick glance.
Please app developers, make this app easier for those of us that have more than one child at more than one school.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cheap app

*2025-10-23, version 2.1.0*

Really poor UI. Have to select my school and meal period every time I open it. Even then, it just give you a data dump of an entire month’s menu rather than a calendar. Expect to do lots of scrolling.

### 1/5 — So difficult

*2025-10-08, version 2.1.0*

I have to select the school every time from the drop down. And all I want to be able to do is print the monthly menu and there’s no option to do that!! So disappointing.

### 1/5 — Not a good app

*2025-03-17, version 2.1.0*

The app requires you to choose your school and breakfast versus lunch every time you open it instead of remembering the settings you have before. Also a relatively recent update ( this school year) switched it from viewing the current week to viewing the month which means scrolling and scrolling to find the current week towards the end of each month. There's a setting to change it to week view but it doesn't remember that preference either.

### 1/5 — Not accurate

*2025-02-06, version 2.1.0*

Doesn’t work !

### 1/5 — Won’t save school

*2024-10-06, version 2.1.0*

Someone needs to give this app attention. It won’t save the school, and this is consistent with other reviewers. Save the school I need when I reopen the app. Our school just began using it and I’m disappointed. Please, can someone give an update?

### 1/5 — This app shouldn’t be legal.

*2023-11-24, version 2.0.0*

This is the type of app that is as forced as you were when you had to download this disgusting app for your children because they ate their school menu for the month. This app has worse response time than my autistic 3 year old. Everyday I wake up and have to have the burden of checking this 15 minute response time loading sign obsessed app. ONE STAR.

### 1/5 — I data for any school in the district

*2023-07-26, version 2.0.0*

The thing does not work. We used to have simple PDF on the district site that worked 100%. Now this “thing” is required and all it shows in the Find Menu “no matches”. People, sometimes simple thing works better!!!

### 1/5 — No good

*2020-09-17, version 2.0.0*

Doesn’t work. No menus.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work for 27j Colorado

*2019-10-04, version 1.2.2*

You enter your district and nothing happens.

### 1/5 — Good idea but bad design and doesn’t work

*2019-08-20, version 1.2.2*

I appreciate the idea, but the app simply doesn’t work. After working one time, the app quit working. Menus are no longer there and when reselecting school district I get an access denied error. Even the one time I was able to use it, I found it pretty user unfriendly from a navigation standpoint. Again nice idea, but needs major work before it’s ready for use.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good work

*2026-08-14, version 2.1.0*

I think it’s really helpful because you can look up any school and it will tell you what your having for lunch any day

### 5/5 — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*2025-05-02, version 2.1.0*

This app helps me sooooo much in the morning!!!! I love it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

### 5/5 — Yay

*2018-08-11, version 1.2.2*

Yay

### 5/5 — Connects to school lunches

*2018-06-05, version 1.2.2*

Able to use the app to connect to my school lunches. Handy to have available

### 5/5 — Thank you!!!

*2017-03-11, version 1.2.0*

I am so grateful to find this app! I walked by the poster advertising the app on the cafeteria wall for months without actually reading what it said, but the day our lunch line stalled in front of it changed my lunchtime mindset! I am using My Fitness Pal to track my eating and hated guessing what calories to put for that cheeseburger I ate with my students in the cafeteria. Now I can open the menu and compare the nutrition information for the days three choices and make an informed choice about my lunch. I was thrilled to find out the ranch on the salad bar was low calorie, I had avoided it as some dressings are very high in calories but now I can enjoy a dab on my broccoli :)

### 5/5 — Perfect for the health conscious parent

*2015-09-08, version 1.0.0*

This app is great for the parents who actually care about what their children are putting into their bodies at school. Download is fast. Extremely easy to navigate. Nutrition facts for all the food choices. The only thing that would make this app better would be a one tap link to switch from lunch to breakfast menus instead of going back in the navigation menu to switch. I'm happy with the way it is though. Love it!

### 4/5 — App crashes DOES NOT work!

*2020-01-21, version 2.0.0*

iPhone is updated to newest iOS 13.3 and app crashes as soon as I get the 3rd letter of my district in. Haven’t even gotten into the app. I deleted app and downloaded again. Same thing.

### 4/5 — It’s been a year since update, could be an iOS issue

*2019-10-28, version 1.2.2*

I LOVE the idea of this app. I can already picture my son and I ordering his lunches and having “carb competitions” and having him track his lunch calories. However, there’s gotta be something buggy with the app when being used on the newest iOS platform, because I can’t create an account or access any of the brilliantly displayed features that obviously had a lot of heart and soul when they developed it. There’s been a few updates to the iOS platform, so that might explain things like not being able to create accounts or logins. However, I want to thank their customer service so much, because it was almost immediately after contacting the help portion of the app that I got an email from a very nice woman who as able to raise some possible solutions and promised she’d also contact my son’s school lunch provider directly to see what could be done to create an account successfully. Great support, and once the links are ironed out, it looks like it’s got the potential to be a fantastic app!

### 3/5 — Only one option

*2026-02-03, version 2.1.0*

It only shows the first option for breakfast or lunch. It’s not showing the 2nd two. Which leaves me to have to text the lady in the cafeteria. Working in special education makes it even harder when most of the children are picky eaters

### 3/5 — Simple whole month calendar view PLEASE

*2024-10-12, version 2.1.0*

Can we just have an old fashioned calendar view PLEASE?! I miss the simplicity of being able to easily see the whole month’s menu all at once when we had it on paper. The nutritional details are nice, but why can’t we just click on an item or day to see more detail on it? And after the first week of the month, it sometimes remembers what week it is and sometimes doesn’t. So you have to flip through to get to the correct week. This is not quick and simple enough. Especially for those who have kids at different schools and/or schools that also serve breakfast.
