Download this moms/dads, you will thank me. I have several sound machines I’ve purchased, but my 9 week old takes very well to MY shhh! Out of desperation one day, I looked for a “shhhing” app, and I stumbled across this. Developer, I gave it 4/5 stars. I think it would be perfect if it had a sleep timer option. ### 5/5 — Excellent *2015-12-20, version 1.2* This app has been so helpful. Both my wife and myself use it and it's been of great use so far with a 3 week old baby. It's simple to use and considering that a shushing device will set you back £30, this is free with unobtrusive ads....which is phenomenal. One thing that might be nice to see in the future is the option to change the length of the shh. Our baby seems to like a distinctive pulse in his shhs. I use it every day for my baby, and it soothes him almost instantly!! My only complaint is that when you open the app it defaults to the "record" button, so it's easy to accidentally hit if you're in a stressed out frenzy with a screaming baby in your ear. As a new mom I don't have time or desire to go on my computer to make my own shush track- especially not when there are so many readily available online. Other "white noise" apps dont really work on my son- it has to be shushing sounds. Yes- there are Shushers you can pay for and one on Amazon thats $30. But this one is FREE, and you only have to record one shush sound. Fyi, if you want a break between your shushes, you need to stop before you reach the one second mark. My son responded to it, so i can confidently say this app does what its supposed to. ### 5/5 — IT REALLY WORKS!!! 👍👍👍 *2015-03-15, version 1.1.0* I was going crazy 👩🌀🌀shushing my twin girls and out of desperation I searched for a shushing app. My Baby B fusses at the bottle and the only way she'll take it is if I scrunch over and shush in her ear while I'm feeding her. So imagine my joy when I used this app on her and it worked!!! Omg 😂😂😂😂😂 AND shushing two babies was leaving me a little out of breath. Shush record time needs to be way longer!! I shush my baby to sleep with long slow shush, few second break, long slow shush. This app only allows for 5 second recording time!! There needs to be able to record and store a few different shush sounds so I can store a louder more aggressive one and a softer one depending on what mood she is in she responds to different shushes better. As it is the app is useless for me. The wrap around is too fast (about 4sec). And the looping is terrible and unnatural sounding no matter how i record. A few suggestions: make a save option - I just accidentally deleted the perfect shush (took multiple attempts to get it right) when the screen accidentally got pushed and the giant record button got hit. It's way too easy to delete on accident. Also, have a way to save multiple recordings. Sometimes I need a fast loud shush, sometimes a softer one. Or just for if it would accidentally get deleted, a back up ready to go. Thirdly, a timer option. Sometimes I have to leave it in the crib with baby and maybe a timer of 10, 20, 30 minutes would help. ### 3/5 — Cool idea *2015-01-07, version 1.0.1* Love that I can record my own shush for my baby for free! I would love even more if it had a turn off feature for when I'm done with it. The only way to stop it was for me to force close the app. Would be a 5 star app if that were included.
