I know singing opened up his interest in language and communication. Raised in a bilingual family, I remember he once asked grandma for milk, then leche… my son saw my mom still didn’t understand and signed milk… now my second is about 6 months old and though she’s not yet signing, she does seem to understand the signs I’ve been reinforcing since birth. I asked for a signing time subscription as her Christmas gift and couldn’t be happier! I love all the extra content I now have access to… BTW, baby signing helped me make a deaf friend at work! I even became her translator!!
