Now the power drops after 20 minutes. The app still uses my whole phone battery after 2 hours so I now have to ride with a power bank for the phone. The app also slows way down after an hour or so. PLEASE fix the app! ### 2/5 — More options please, auto hr without gps *2026-08-12, version 3.0.2* Please fix numerous bugs, blank notification tiles on iPhone homescreen, tracking rarely starts when pressing start on Apple Watch, blank stats on watch while tracking, unsaved tracking sessions in activities page, allow more flexibility to use auto hr, battery drains very fast when using tracking with this app ### 1/5 — Poor since upgrade *2026-08-09, version 3.0.2* This app used to be so good and now it barely functions after the recent update. Issues include - app crashing, loss of sync with Strava (and difficult to re-establish) and notifications on the lock screen now just appear as a black box. It would be good to hear from Mahle about what they are doing to fix the issues. ### 1/5 — Annoying *2026-08-07, version 3.0.2* App seemed much better last week but once again failed to record ride and cannot connect to motor maps. I give up! ### 1/5 — Reduced functionality *2026-08-04, version 3.0.2* Worked fine for two years then suddenly stopped recording activities. No data saved for the last 5 months. Tried various settings but there doesn’t seem to be any support. Looked on a few forums. Nothing. Incorrect information saved ie: milage records of the bike. ### 2/5 — Latest update problems *2026-08-03, version 3.0.2* Since the update we’ve had problems with data lag (bike to phone) and massive phone battery drain during use. Please resolve! ### 3/5 — Lost functionality *2026-08-02, version 3.0.2* It appears that the App has lost the ability to remember multiple bikes. When I switch between my bike and my wife’s bike, I now need to Add a new bike each and every time. Seems a strange backward step. ### 1/5 — Bad update *2026-08-02, version 3.0.2* I installed the updated version this morning on my iPhone 15 with latest version of iOS & a very good battery. The new app refused to link to Strava, so I just thought I’d look in to that later…. My iPhone was at 87% battery at the beginning of my ride, but after only 75 minutes the phone battery was down to 10% so the iPhone went into power save mode and the app auto-paused and lost all ride data. Fortunately, I was only 20 minutes from home. I checked the phone when I got home and looked at battery usage stats - this app alone consumed 74% of the battery during the ride. The app may be OK for short rides, but is completely useless for a ‘normal’ ride. This issue really needs fixing fast as leaving a rider stranded with a flat phone battery, or with no means of being location tracked via their phone is a safety concern. Until then, I’ll need to take a second phone with me on a ride. ### 4/5 — Much better *2026-07-31, version 3.0.2* App seemed much better today with Ribble bike - stayed connected, tracked route, no blank area left on phone after using and able to access motor map. 🤞this will stay 😊 ### 1/5 — Useless since major update! *2026-07-30, version 3.0.2* I’d used the previous version of the app for 18 months without issue. Since the update the app crashes during every activity, usually within the first 15 minutes of the ride and all ride data is lost. Motor maps are frequently unavailable. I’ve uninstalled the app completely, cleared cache and reinstalled it, made no difference whatsoever. Totally pointless using it now, I simply use it at the start of a ride to set the Smart Assist level then forget about it.
