Not very accurate at all ### 1/5 — Set up for experts only *2023-05-16* The set up for this app is super complex. To release the api, there’s a 50 page document. I didn’t get past the first page. I suggest that this is only suitable for IT experts. I wasted paying for it :( **Developer response:** Hi. Thanks for trying My Solar.   I think there's been some misunderstanding about the API. All you need to do is apply to Solis via a form - the URL is in the settings page of My Solar. They will send you 2 passkeys and a URL, which you enter into My Solar. That's all you need to do, and its very quick an easy. ### 4/5 — Very good *2025-03-22* Decided to have a try at this. Contacted Solis to get the API permissions etc. downloaded and off it went, as the meerkats say “simples”. I had a few teething issues getting iPhone to work, but a quick email to the developer, which was answered very swiftly, got me sorted. The charge /discharge settings are great so easy to use. Would recommend. ### 4/5 — Multiple Plants *2024-03-30* I like this app - the interface is nice and uncluttered and offers at-a-glance view of the PV generation on a single screen or via widgets for both the watch and phone. My only request is to ask for support of multiple plants with data collated together. At the moment only one plant registered under the API is supported and it would greatly enhance utility of this application should the API poll all available plants under the API register. ### 5/5 — Excellent *2026-04-02* So clear & simple. Takes all the mystery & complications out of the daily use. Open it, read it, adjust it. All in obvious places with actual details. Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — Best solar app ever! *2025-11-23* Once you have got api access which you are guided through, you have the remote control of your inverter you should have always had. I can keep a regular eye on how my batteries are doing, how much I am generating on the pv and best of all I can set times to charge or discharge from the grid. Now I can even sync the time to my iPhone as I gain a few minutes every month on the inverter which is an issue. Absolutely brilliant app, well done! ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2025-02-22* Fantastic app. It is so much quicker and easier to alter the charge and discharge times on my Solis inverter, than the steps you have to go through using the official app. Also it’s great for just seeing stats at a glance, and the weekly time sync is priceless as the inverter time tends to drift quite a bit. ### 5/5 — At last… *2025-01-07* … an app that provides a much more convenient and less fiddly way to set charge/discharge schedule on my Solis inverter. I love having the stats right on my wrist, and the best part is setting the charge/discharge schedule. It’s so much faster than the official app. The only thing that could make it even better is an option to set the default minute increment to 1, 5, 10, or 30 when setting the schedule to match my tariff timing. 5* ### 5/5 — Elegantly Simple *2024-07-25* I’ve had my solar panels and battery for around 21 months now, been very happy with them generally, but the Solis app has been less than great throughout, especially when I want to set/change charge/discharge times, way to many hoops to jump through. Just wanted something simple, showing me what I needed to know at a glance. My Solar has given me that, especially since the ability to set charging times has been added, so easy. Importantly my wife wanted access to something she didn’t have to ‘phaff about with’, she now has that, so thank you.
