Poor service part as all the call centre do is refer you to go online ### 1/5 — Useless *2023-03-15* Very saddening that stoke is still playing catch up with other city’s. This ‘app’ is always freezing and viewing your council tax bill hasn’t been working since last year. Submitting enquires, complaints and comments via the online form is also useless as very rare u would receive a reply. They need to supply a working email contact so that people can have proof that they attempted to contact the council. Contacting via phone is long and at the end if any legal issues arise u Dont have any evidence that you did your part. Fix up council! ### 1/5 — Not very good *2018-10-28* Not very good. It’s very basic. Just like stoke on Trent. I was trying to find a calendar for the last day the brown bin is collected but cannot. ### 2/5 — A glorified website bookmark *2018-10-22* This isn’t really an app as such, it really is just a screen with buttons which take you to links on the Stoke-on-Trent Council webpage. I suppose the one thing it has going for it is that you can customise which links you have on your home page of the app. Simply put, it’s an app which allows you to simply find the webpages you need to on the council website. It pretty much acts as a home page for all your frequently used council pages. I was expecting more from this app when I heard about it. For example, it would be better for reporting fly tipping, if the app opened up Google Maps within it, so you could click a location on it where you have spotted fly tipping. In clicking send, it would send coordinates to the council to pin point it. That’s one example where this could have been so much better. Instead, the app only links to the fly tipping page on the website.
