But now there it has changed: it has more AI, more updates, and other stuff! I respect other people who like the updates but I do not like them. Can you change it back to the way it was before the updates, please? If you do not know what I mean, I mean if you can change it back to the original version like from 2 years ago. I love making new books so that I can draft on here and then make the actual thing after in real life. I like the magic book one because if I’m stuck it can help nudge me over to an idea. Overall a really good game you’ve added lots new stickers and pictures from the last time I played. Another good thing is that you don't have to pay to get something and there is no adds. **Developer response:** Thanks Batdog82! Thank you! ### 2/5 — ??? *2024-11-02* The app would be great if it would stop crashing and glitching. It’s difficult to use on an iphone. My larger screens are non-Apple so… I’ve had the basic (free) My Story app for a few years and even made a couple of cool books for our preschool class. I now have a grandson and wanted to make books of our adventures together, since storytelling helps brain development, so I opted for the paid version. We hit view, and all of the images and text are cut off. It turned into a guessing game we couldn't win. ### 4/5 — My daughter loves the app *2021-03-27* She creates stories with her LEGO and it’s excellent for creativity and imagination. Unfortunately, one of the more recent stories she created does not work. She is not able to view it. It does have a lot of pages but the recordings on each page aren’t long. It is really annoying because of those bugs!!! Those developers need to fix this purple book button now. I am getting sick and tired of this app. **Developer response:** Hi Yusuf! Huge problem is there are no people of color depicted in the professionals stickers. Entirely white washed in images. **Developer response:** Hi mom's minute, you're so right. I hadn't caught this before. Even though I was able to find sticker packs that depicted PoC in faces and fantasy scenarios, the professional jobs stickers pack that I acquired is not diverse at all. Basically a useless app unless this is fixed. No information on how to use the program either. The version that is up on the App Store now has a fix for the text feature crashing on iPhone. ### 1/5 — Mad! *2019-01-18* I have used this app multiple times. I just upgraded to premium version for the second time. I just spent hours creating a book, only to not be able to open the book. Every time I try to open it, the app crashes. So incredibly frustrating! I have tried many different ways to contact this company, and even their website question page keeps giving me an error page saying my email us not valid, tried to message on Facebook, says address is invalid. At first it seems like a great app as you watch your child make their first story or two. What you find out eventually is that it buggy software that will crash 100% of the time once your child makes a half dozen or so stories. At first, I thought it was a fluke, reinstalled & it worked okay for day or two until she had several stories. Then it started crashing again. Then I thought maybe it was too much for iPad2 so we tried her Mom's ipad3. Same problem. Recently tried my new iPad air2, same exact problem. It starts crashing after several stories. This app is completely bug ridden. I can't imagine a more poorly executed piece of software. Apparently the developers don't have the slightest notion of how to write or test an app or the slightest ethics in that they continue to push this grossly flawed app which cannot be used at all for the intended purpose. ### 1/5 — Great app, bad update *2015-04-08* My children have adored this app from the moment I downloaded it. However, this new update isn't working to view books. It freezes with "building your movie" on the screen. Kinder age children are unable to cope with this. Just one feature to add! *2026-02-01* Last time I was making a novel called Follow That Car, but the Page Manager (or the purple book button, which I called it last time.) always kicks me out. But now, this update made a great bug fix! Now, I can finally use the Page Manager! And one feature to add in this app is the read-aloud button! If you want to view your story that you made, you can click the read aloud button! You can even have Siri or other voices (including AI) read it to you. Developers, please add this feature.
