When I try to add a new class it won’t let me adjust the times. And for my previous classes I added the time for those but they keep changing and making everything unorganized and not on the proper spot. It’s just been happening recently because before the app was fine. Maybe it’s a bug? Hopefully the developers can fix it before the semester starts. ### 2/5 — App changed my time zone *2026-06-16* I put in manually my classes, which took a while. I put all the correct times and I am in my correct time zone which I need my classes to be in. So I don’t understand why this app took it upon themselves to change my time zone six hours behind. So now my classes started at like 5 AM instead of starting at like 10. This is super inconvenient and frustrating because this app is so hard to navigate and I can’t find support with this issue. I went to the Settings page and went to report the issue and they asked for a picture and I submitted a picture but I just got an AI automatic response. Saying thank you for reporting this issue not getting back to me on how I can fix this issue. I can’t find anywhere on the app to change my time zone. But even trying to find to change my time zone shouldn’t even be a thing because this shouldn’t have happened. Frustrating app wouldn’t recommend. And you have to pay to put in more than six tasks adds the cherry on top. Especially when I searched up for a completely schedule apps this was the first one recommend. **Developer response:** This isn’t expected behaviour and we can understand why it’s frustrating, especially after you’ve already taken the time to set everything up manually. I wish I had earlier in the year lol! You won’t regret getting this app, especially because there are no surprise pop-up fees or subscriptions. It helps you visually see your assignments on a calendar, and reminds you when an assignment is almost due or has been flagged missing. The only thing I have to say is it does limit the amount of schoolwork you want keep track of, for example you can only have 6 assignments pending at once unless you pay. It’s not user friendly ### 2/5 — Making me pay *2026-03-13, version 8.0.13* Ima keep this simple it only lets you have 6 tasks to free then you have to pay, im not doing that i promise you dont get this app ### 3/5 — Has potential but wouldn’t recommend yet *2026-03-03* I just cancelled my subscription for a few reasons but mainly because the app kept logging me out requiring log in nearly every time I opened the app. Unsure why this is needed as every other calendar app does not require this. Painfully annoying. Secondly there’s not enough customisation. Ideally I would like a ‘month’ view to be the default view but every time it opens to the ‘day’ and then have to select month. There is also not an option, when selecting a day with multiple tasks/exams, to see them all and it only opens the one you press which is bothersome considering the small size of the font. The font for subjects is also reduced to lowercase despite being written in as capitals. For $50 a year I would expect this app to be more polished and customisable. There are other minor bugs/annoyances but those are the main ones **Developer response:** Sorry to hear that — that’s not the experience we aim for. On the login issue: you shouldn’t be getting logged out repeatedly. That can happen due to session handling, device settings, or app version issues, but it’s not intended behaviour. On the default view and calendar behaviour: those are fair points. The app currently defaults to the day view, and the way tasks display within a day is designed to keep things simple, but we understand that it can feel limiting — especially when there are multiple items. Similarly, the level of customisation (like default views and display formatting) is something we’re actively reviewing as part of ongoing improvements. The font and formatting issue you mentioned isn’t expected behaviour either — subject names should reflect how they’re entered. If they’re being forced into lowercase, that’s likely a bug and we’d want to investigate that. And there is not “Art” subject offered as a choice? But other than that I love it ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Tasks *2026-08-25, version 9.0.3* Making us pay for putting in tasks and giving us 5 tries is ridiculous. downfall of this app seriously it was the whole point ### 1/5 — Extremely inconvenient and buggy *2026-08-18, version 9.0.1* This is one of the only apps I’ve found that allow you to add calendar events specifically as classes but unfortunately making these events is extremely complicated. When choosing times, days, and semesters, it is very buggy and will often show the wrong time on the calendar and other parts of the app. I went back to check multiple times that I had the right time inserted but I still have the same issue. This honestly defeats the purpose of the app and I was very disappointed as it looks very nice and has high ratings. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2026-08-17, version 9.0.0* I was excited to use this app to help my kid structure classes, assignments & tests - but after waisting over 2 HOURS attempting to set up her class schedule, I finally bowed out! The format is wonderful, but forget trying to use the start/stop feature on classes. You must save the hour, minute, and meridiem changes individually - and you better get them right the first time. After taking the extra time to complete that task, the calendar won’t recognize your input. It displays random times of its choosing, and you register corrections. You can delete the class, re-input the data to start the ridiculous cycle over again to no avail. BONUS…..make sure you drive yourself crazy by trying to connect a parent account with the student. It’s maddening! Hey My Study Life: Get yourself some better programmers. ### 1/5 — Glitches defeat the entire purpose of the app *2026-08-17, version 9.0.0* I’ve used this app for YEARS, and it was amazing. Now that the new school year is starting, I opened it up again and put in my schedule, assignments, and exams. Afterwards I took a look at the calendar and the times were all wrong for every one of my classes. (E.g. one classes was scheduled from 8:05-9:55am, but it shows up on the calendar as 8:05-6:15am on the computer app and 8:05-8:20 on my phone app, but when I go to edit it, it has the correct time, then goes back to the wrong times). The app is titled as a “student planner” so the times being jumbled defeats the entire purpose. ### 1/5 — Not a reliable planner *2026-08-16, version 9.0.0* Sure you can technically put classes into the planner, but adding a time and day to it is extremely buggy, and most useful things are blocked behind a paywall. I liked this app at first and set it up with my classes and it starts telling me 5 free tasks remaining? It’s a glorified calendar what could I possibly need to pay for. One is how I can’t manage the names of my subjects, and when I reached out to the support, they told me it was in settings. Of course, it was not. Another is that whenever I edit a classes name or room, it moves it to 6 o’clock in the morning? The amount of free features and subscription features are fair, and there aren’t any pop-up adds literally begging for your money😅. I have tried many apps similar to this (that aren’t sketchy), and this is by far is the best app! Some claim to be “great organizers” and “the only planner you will ever need”, but, in my experience, they are either too organized to where it’s overwhelming, or it just doesn’t offer what I need. If it does, it’s usually has to be paid for. It’s a great app. BTW if you had the courage to read this long review, I appreciate it😂 hope this helps! I have notice what I suspect to be a bug in the app. The screen has frozen and before crashed mid-usage (exited on its own to my iPad’s Home Screen). Hopefully this can be fixed. If I could recommend one thing, please, it would be great if the Test feature could be unlocked for free. I feel like it is a very popular thing to use in planners, and no other apps do so or is as great as yours; it really would be awesome if that is possible.
