### 1/5 — Calories count doesn’t get updated

*2023-07-20, version 1.5.8*

Calories coins is not getting updated in iPhone , just yardage and time. Is this a bug ? How come this app hasn’t been updated in a while ?

### 1/5 — Not Accurate

*2023-07-15, version 1.5.8*

Wasn’t accurate at tracking my laps at all and kept disconnecting during backstroke. Wouldn’t bother with it.

### 1/5 — Headphone watch mount is good but not this app

*2023-03-24, version 1.5.8*

No idea what this thing is tracking but it’s nothing to do with my swimming

### 1/5 — NEEDS TO BE FIXED

*2023-02-22, version 1.5.8*

Worthless app to come with a not cheap product. I just got my device last week and the distance tracking has yet to work once. I manually tracked my distance and compared it to the app and the app had accounted for less than half of my distance. The only thing that has worked in my experience with this company is the audio feature. Everything else is absolute garbage and needs to be fixed or at least not be promised features by the company.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-02-14, version 1.5.8*

I love the H2O headphones but the app is useless. Doesn’t count accurately or even close to it. Jamie0621

### 1/5 — Does not work correctly

*2023-01-06, version 1.5.8*

I downloaded this app to use with the H20 Interval, to use my Apple Watch to play music and audiobooks while I swim. Though the device will play music and/or audiobooks, this accompanying app does not keep track of laps correctly. So, it really makes device not as functional, since now I cannot keep track of how many laps I’ve swum.

### 1/5 — IOS 16 issue

*2022-12-04, version 1.5.6*

My swims are not being tracked to my phone. They are on my watch but not relayed to my phone. Both have been updated to IOS 16

### 1/5 — Needs serious improvements

*2022-09-17, version 1.5.6*

I love that my watch connects to stream my music and that’s about it. The remainder of the features advertised do not work. The tracking needs improvements as sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t track accurately. Also the shake to start and stop does not work. This doesn’t connect to apple health app as advertised. A fairly large company like this, who sells amazing products, really should have their developers update their app on a regular basis like most other apps created and released.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2022-08-24, version 1.5.6*

This app is, without question, the worst app I’ve ever downloaded. It does absolutely nothing that it is supposed to do. It doesn’t track laps correctly which should be relatively simple.
On the other hand, the Apple Watch bone vibration system is spectacular. Music plays beautifully.
Sad that this app is a reflection on the company.

### 1/5 — App buggée

*2022-02-26, version 1.5.6*

L'app watch bugue complètement. Les invoques vocales se superposent et deviennent insupportable et impossible à arrêter. Obliger de supprimer l'app pour les arrêter

### 1/5 — Doesn't Count Laps Properly

*2021-11-17, version 1.5.5*

I swam for over 45 minutes which wehn using the apple application would have recorded around 80 laps in a 25 yard pool. This app reported 52 laps. App needs work to detech flip turns better.

### 1/5 — Not up to par

*2021-10-08, version 1.5.4*

I’ve had this app for almost 2 yrs and they still can’t get the lap count right! At least 3 laps off in a mile! It doesn’t seem to sync with my activity app either. Just hire a professional programmer and get it right. So frustrating

### 1/5 — Not great

*2021-07-05, version 1.5.2*

This review is for the watch app (the mobile app is decent but not the one used while swimming).
The watch app looks like it was never tested. Hard to use, poor experience. Unless this app is from a student learner, it is not at the level you would expect from buying a product.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2021-04-17, version 1.5.0*

The first few times I used this, I was optimistic. Even though the lap counter is not accurate...usually off by 2-3 laps, I liked that it would provide me counts while swimming. However, in my 5th swim, it is no longer recording any workout stats in phone app even though the info is showing in watch app. Does not appear to sync. I will likely try one more time and if doesn’t Woek will switch to an app that has developers that know what they are doing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible tracker

*2025-08-23, version 1.5.8*

It absolutely not accurate in tracking the laps. The customer service said to link with Apple Health. After linking, it is still WAY OFF counting.

### 1/5 — Beyond frustrating

*2025-07-08, version 1.5.8*

I thought this was going to be the answer to my keeping track of swim laps. Sorry to say that it doesn’t work. It won’t audibly count laps, and swimming for 45 minutes tells me I’ve swum 150 yards. Customer service has not been able to answer straightforward questions about how to set up prompts. I waste more time than I spend swimming.

### 1/5 — Shake your head

*2024-10-06, version 1.5.8*

this phrase sounds without stopping, and nothing happens, it can't be stopped, why should I constantly shake my head in the water, some wild fantasy of the authors. if possible put a zero

### 1/5 — Not working with Apple Watch

*2024-06-20, version 1.5.8*

Although installed on the phone, watch and linked to apple health. The data doesn’t calibrate in my rings. No exercise time or calories burned accounted for. Does not consistently work. Keeps repeating shake head or double tap to start, even when both are done.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2024-05-08, version 1.5.8*

I’m not using it anymore. I will play my music through my watch, turn on the water resistance manually and count my laps in my head! It NEVER counted anything accurately, except the time! And it only synced the time to my Health app, never anything else. Very disappointing 🥲

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work

*2024-01-10, version 1.5.8*

I swim three times a week having the headset is a game changer. The application however is a complete let down. As I can’t use my Apple Watch watch on my wrist for the music to work, the app doesn’t recognise that Iv changed from yards to meters and doesn’t track my laps correctly. Struggling to use any other apps purely because the Apple Watch has to be in the dock on the back of my head to work.

### 1/5 — App update

*2023-11-12, version 1.5.8*

When will there be an update to the My Swim tracker app? I have been putting up with this app for over a year and it is so frustrating!
Listening to the music is great but not being able to get correct stats is ridiculous at this point.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2023-10-25, version 1.5.8*

I was so excited to get my headphones I let to be completely disappointed by the glitchy app and lack of accurate tracking. It’s only my second night but I’m ready to return my headphones. I’ll stick to my watch on my wrist with no music,

### 1/5 — Don’t download!

*2023-08-08, version 1.5.8*

This app is a total failure. It doesn’t track your swimming, you have to buy a set of headphones that cost 100 dollars and it doesn’t work. The “shake or tap” system doesn’t work either.

### 1/5 — Not working with Apple Watch

*2023-08-07*

Although installed on the phone, watch and linked to apple health. The data doesn’t calibrate in my rings. No exercise time or calories burned accounted for.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love my Interval

*2022-01-24, version 1.5.6*

I love my Interval. The app was a little glitchy at first but since the new updates it has been working well for me. I was even able to connect to my Apple health activity rings.

### 5/5 — It Works!

*2021-01-05, version 1.3.0*

I had similar issues the first time I used this app but was convinced it was operator error. It worked perfectly the second time in a 25 yd pool! I think the pool size has to be confirmed each time before starting. Settings need to be correct within the app on the phone too. A voice announced distance, time, and laps accurately according to my settings. Data was also shared with Fitness app for “ring credit.” Music functionality was great also!

### 5/5 — :(

*2020-01-17, version 1.1.3*

I really really wanted to love this app and the interval that comes along with it! But it does not track my swim at all and said I did 25 yards when I actually did 400. I was so frustrated that I just gave up and wasted a workout for the night. Also, the buttons are sticky and there aren’t enough buttons for the functions that it is supposed to do. I wish I could skip a track quickly rather than holding down a sticky button that also is supposed to turn my volume up. So sad. Going to try it again tomorrow and hoping for the best.

### 4/5 — This works well - if you follow the instructions below

*2023-01-06, version 1.5.8*

Updated: works well if you follow the instructions below and keep in mind it’s limitations I.e it can’t identify strokes. But the announcements are very useful. Suggest that you use this and another app/tracker to get the best of both worlds.

To sync with Apple health

The Apple Health can be activated from the Phone app, but you will also need to verify this in the watch app. Open the watch app and see.

If you missed this when you first installed the app you will need to delete the app from your phone and your watch.

After you delete the app from both your phone and watch power off both devices, restart and then re-install the app on both the phone and watch.

Once the watch app is installed, open the MySwimTracker watch app. On the 1st opening - it will ask if you want to allow the linking - select the option there and confirm.

### 3/5 — Bien jusqu’à ce que ça plante

*2025-09-06, version 1.5.8*

### 3/5 — Doesn’t really work for tracking distance

*2022-06-05, version 1.5.6*

The music streaming is a really nice function but it does seem like you have to sacrifice proper lap tracking because this app seems to just pull numbers from out of thin air. After one lap it would tell me I’d completed 5. But it does track time properly. I’m still holding out hope that it’ll improve…

### 2/5 — Needs major improvement

*2022-02-10, version 1.5.6*

I purchased the H2O audio device and was told this app would track my swim. First week I will chock up to my lack of experience with app. Second week I started to see some better tracking results. My last swim however was majorly flawed with data being wrong. Where o normally swim 20 laps in 20 mins, it said 6laps. It also doesn’t seem to keep time correctly.

THE APP NEEDS IMPROVING BEFORE IRS SOLICITED TO FOLKS WITH H2O Audio. Really makes me wish I’d have just purchased something different and left my Apple Watch on my wrist..

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2022-01-06, version 1.5.6*

Does not detect the laps :( so just using it for the time audio function as I have the headphones as Apple Watch is not on my wrist. As I understand it is still in beta so will update review if they get I working
