Icon weirdness. *2026-08-22, version 4.5.83* I just switched to Tello and this all is “fine” but nothing to write home about. However I have two things I want to write about today. 1) When this app is in a folder, iOS shows the light icon. But when the folder is opened, it shows the dark. Obviously this isn’t anything to knock a star over, but it’s weird and the only app I have that does this on iOS 26.x. 2) I first ported my secondary line to test out the service. Once I was happy I ported my primary number. However in the app I can only see details about the first line I ported - which again is just secondary which I barely use. I can’t figure out how, if even possible, to see my other line. That makes this app unfortunately unusable for me, and hence the 2-star rating. Fix this and it’ll be a 4-star just fine app. Thx! ### 4/5 — Good App, Poor network *2026-08-22, version 4.5.83* Good user interface with an app that is easy to manage, but the mobile service ultimately falls short where it matters most. Relying on T-Mobile’s network (like competitors like Mint, Ultra Mobile), coverage drops off sharply in remote areas and suffers from frustrating dead zones even within major city cores. While the customer platform itself is great, the unreliable signal and spotty connectivity make it tough to recommend for anyone needing consistent nationwide service. ### 4/5 — 2FA should be added *2026-08-13, version 4.5.83* Jackers are on the rise and tello.com is vulnerable without double layer security. I wasted time and money on a phone plan that barely worked. I paid $25 for unlimited data, talk, and text, and still had to spend an additional $15 for data. When I reached out to customer service they said to spend more money. ### 1/5 — The reviews must be fake!!! *2026-08-01, version 4.5.83* I’ve had Tello for over a year and don’t use it much. However, I bought a new phone and needed to switch the ESIM to my new phone. Unfortunately, I didn’t do that before setting up the new phone. Reaching this company via phone which is the ONLY way I can reset my pin is virtually impossible!! You’re put on hold and then the phone automatically disconnects after 15mins. I’m not sure where these 5 star reviews are coming from!! ### 1/5 — Error When Displaying Information *2026-07-28, version 4.5.83* Unable to display some information, such as orders, personal info, etc. Connected to Wi-Fi but eSIM isn’t working at the moment, so it may possibly have something to do with that.
