Hope this will be fixed soon ### 4/5 — Safety key *2024-07-25, version 4.5* I use it instead of carrying my key card ### 3/5 — Great utility with some issues *2024-05-31* I got this app since it’s the cheapest Tesla watch app out there that does the job but with a few nifty tricks such as being able to execute commands when you’re near your car. There are a few issues though. Sometimes, when standing right next to my car, it won’t send any commands to the car. I’ll have to take out my phone to do anything which kinda defeats the purpose. I also wish we could set custom routines to run when getting close to the car (e.g. when I get to the car I want to open the driver door, frunk, and unlock the charge port without having to select them each time). My biggest complaint by far though is that this app will drain your battery like crazy (at least on my watch). Seems to be active all the time unless you force kill it. For the price this is a great app. Definitely think it could be improved and am looking forward to seeing this app being polished. There’s absolutely no response from the developer despite multiple requests. Nothing works and email to developer bounces back as no domain. Mikeiosapps.com not working either. ### 3/5 — Should be free *2024-01-17, version 4.3* Jan 2024 - In my opinion it is too early to be charging for this app. Provide a trial period. I’m going to try and get my money back. It’s a small amount but the app isn’t worth it yet. I can’t think of any situation where every time I approach the vehicle I want something to open. The Tesla app already unlocks it. Apps like Watchla, Tessie or a shortcut using Tesla’s app integration already provide a way to say “Hey Siri, open the trunk” and within a second or two it opens. Here is something useful. When not at home, when approaching the vehicle turn on the climate. Or if dog mode is active turn it off and turn on climate because with dog mode on things like windows won’t go down. When I walk away from the vehicle turn on dog mode. Unfortunately the latest version (Jan 2024), seems to drain my watch battery very quickly, going from 100% to 10% in about 8 hours. Then nothing happens, and the same screens show up, and the app never connects to my Tesla. When I exit and start the app again, I get a screen shot with no functionality. ### 1/5 — Scamming don’t use it *2025-03-03, version 4.6* There are a lot of bugs that cause the app not functioning. Like click on the button not going anywhere, page stuck, no button to close or return to else, etc. the worst for me is after linked with my Tesla account, the app could not process further, it just stopped at the page that looked like an image, no links, no buttons, going nowhere. Please don’t waste your money. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Apple Watch version of this app works without a companion app running on the iPhone! *2024-10-24* This is a phenomenal app that just works. It works over the network connection, and it works over Bluetooth. The reaction time from my Tesla measures in a second or two; sometimes it’s instantaneous. With this app you can unlock your car, unlatch any door, get inside the Tesla and drive away without having a mobile phone on you and without even having a cellular data plan on your Apple Watch. All you need is Bluetooth, and it works via Bluetooth from the Apple Watch as though it were a native Tesla app. It’s reliable with almost instant response from your Tesla. Wow! for $1.99? How is this even possible? Look at the competitors’ pricing. Subscription fees, $100+ price for the app, and other nonsense. Unless you need all sorts of stats on your iPhone from the Tesla, then just get this app and reward the developer. This app made my day today. Wait, no, that’s not true. This app made my week or even month. I can now use my Apple Watch when I go on short drives without even having to bring my iPhone with me. I’m THAT confident in how reliable this Apple Watch app is. I won’t get stranded even if there is no cellular data coverage where I park my Tesla because this Apple Watch app serves as a key via Bluetooth, and it just works. ### 5/5 — Great app for the price. *2024-09-27* I’ve been using it for a couple of months now on my Apple Watch. I have it connected with Bluetooth. It works when I need it. I mostly use it to unlock the car when I forget my phone or have my hands full.
