### 4/5 — Cool app - works good

*2025-11-07*

This app works good, but it could be better in terms of having an option for enhanced usability. What I mean is, the app should optionally prompt you for how many hours a week you work, and what days you work in a week. Later, when you put in for PTO, it should auto calculate how much is being used based on that data, not a manual input like it is now. Hope the dev can add this in an update.

**Developer response:** Thanks for using My Time Off Tracker 2, and for leaving a review! We have thought about this idea before when doing initial development of the app, but ultimately decided that that hinges on the assumption that you are always taking a whole day off. In most cases, yes. But there is an argument to be made that you can take an hour here, three hours there, or even a weird 2.25 hours at a time. In the end, we decided to just have the user enter the amount to be the best because we never want to assume that a whole day will be taken every time PTO will be taken. However, we will take note of this and put it into our backlog of features we can try to implement in future updates. Thanks again, and let us know through the Settings tab of the app if you have any other feature requests or bug reports!

### 2/5 — Broken After Recent Update

*2025-07-30*

My Time Off tracker was a great app until the most recent update. Now under ‘My Planner Summary’ the projected PTO usage from previous entries do NOT affect the following entries (which I feel is the main point of the app). Rating this app 2 stars because it was perfect before the recent update and I’m hopeful for a fix.

**Developer response:** Please send a bug report using the “Email the Developer” button in the settings tab. We’ll respond as soon as we are able. Thanks for using My Time Off Tracker 2!

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for

*2025-07-06*

Great app for tracking and planning PTO. The widgets are a great reminder to take PTO. Overall high quality app that does what is advertised. Well worth the price.

**Developer response:** Thanks for using My Time Off Tracker 2 and leaving a review! We appreciate the feedback! Use the email button in the settings tab if you find any bugs or have features to request.

### 3/5 — User Interface needs refinement

*2025-03-07*

The functionality is ok. Some things are frustrating, for example the starting balance entry is not accessible to be edited. My advice is when creating a new category, use 0 and then add the amount you want to start with manually. I think all entries should be accessible to the user to edit or delete. Some buttons on my iPhone 15 screen are below the keyboard and the entry pad for numbers does not have a close or next option so its a pain to close the keyboard to access the save buttons at the bottom of the screen (to add/subtract the the entry). While I like the bigger UI design, if it were designed just a little smaller and input fields organized for space efficiency many screens could fit with the keyboard without the need to scroll at-all. Last frustration is the reports. Each time a report is run, the date range has to be selected (the default range is today), it does not remember the last date range used and there are no shortcuts or pre-sets such as current year or prior year.
The functionality is ok but improvements are needed to make it easier to enter data and run reports.

**Developer response:** Thanks for using My Time Off Tracker 2 and giving some feedback! We are constantly looking to refine and enhance our UI. We have made a couple of improvements in the latest update and are getting ready to incorporate Liquid Glass and make a couple overall fixes with the release of iOS 26 so stay tuned.

### 3/5 — Not flexible enough

*2025-02-15*

Can only put in future dates. Cant back date.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback and review! However, we are confused by your statement. The only type of entry that cannot use previous dates is the Trip Planner feature, which is used to plan future trips, and not things such as previously taken sick days. When entering PTO used in the app, you are able to enter previous dates for accurate time tracking. However, we acknowledge that there should be an onboarding/tutorial to demonstrate the intended usage of the application; we are planning this for a future update. If you require any assistance, please use the “Email the Developer” button in the app’s Settings, and we’d be happy to provide detailed information with screenshots. Have a great day!

### 5/5 — Wonderful App!

*2025-01-01*

The best Time Off App out there. Easy to use and I love that you can change the colors and time type from hours to days off.

**Developer response:** Thank you for leaving a review! We’re glad that you enjoy using My Time Off Tracker 2! Let us know if you have any bugs to report or features to request using the “Email the Developer” button in the app’s Settings! Have a great day!

### 5/5 — Easy to use and great layout

*2024-05-02*

Update: Developer used my suggestion as an update to the app. It’s perfect for tracking my PTO and planning for trips/days off now. Would highly recommend. Thank you to the developers!

Almost exactly what I was looking for to make seeing my PTO balance and looking ahead easier. My only issue/suggestion is that in the planner tab, the Projected Start/End hours of planned time off doesn’t take earlier planned days off into account. So you have to do the math on your own subtracting planned earlier days from those projections. Not a huge deal, but would be a good settings option.

**Developer response:** Thanks for leaving My Time Off Tracker 2 a review! We have added this functionality to the app, and it is available in version 1.1 and above! Thank you for the suggestion!

### 2/5 — Unsuitable

*2024-05-02*

Not sure who the audience is for this app, but I was not able to

- enter more than 1 day of vacation at a time. Date range is not possible!

- enter a trip after the fact. It’s only possible to log a trip in the future. Weird.

This app is designed for a specific, narrow way of approaching time off, and it just doesn’t work for me.

**Developer response:** UPDATE: The date range has been implemented for tracking multiple days of a single time off event, if you’re willing to give the app another try!

—-

We’re sorry that My Time Off Tracker 2 doesn’t work for you. We tried to make this app generic and accessible to workers who have all kinds of PTO situations. We have had the date range selection requested before, and have it in our backlog to work on for a future update. The Trip Planner tab is meant to plan trips, hence the future dates (providing a countdown to said trip). If you would like to give My Time Off Tracker 2 another try and have any questions or concerns, please use the “Email the Developer” button in the Settings tab!

### 5/5 — Great app!!

*2024-04-30*

With the addition of converting the hour model to days, the app is now perfect!!

**Developer response:** Thanks for leaving a review! We’re glad that My Time Off Tracker 2 works well for you! Contact us if you have any bugs, questions, or suggestions.

### 5/5 — Outstanding PTO Tracker!

*2024-04-30*

I used to use a complex spreadsheet to track my time. This is much more convenient and even does has bonus feature that I never thought I needed. Highly recommend!

**Developer response:** Thanks for leaving a review! We’re glad that My Time Off Tracker 2 has gone above and beyond for your PTO tracking needs! Contact us through the App’s Settings tab, if you have any bugs, questions, or suggestions.
