Token Board is a customizable app to motivate children to learn and complete tasks. It is a visual reward system for children with special needs and children of all ages and abilities. A token economy is a system of behavior modification based on the systematic reinforcement of target behaviors. The reinforcers are symbols or "tokens" that can be exchanged for rewards. Rewards are given after a number of tokens are earned. A token economy is based on the principles of operant conditioning and is used in applied behavior analysis (ABA) with children with autism spectrum disorders. The app provides the children with visual information about when they can earn their reward using a set number of earned tokens. Waste of time ### 2/5 — Great app, when it works *2025-04-07, version 4.0* This is a great mobile token board but it seems to have major bug issues that prevent the use of custom features. My young clients love choosing their own token and reward images of their favorite shows and toys. Unfortunately, the app resets to factory settings every so often, removing my uploaded images and I have to reupload everything. It is very inconvenient. It has happened enough that I have to find a different app to use, which is sad because I paid for the ability to upload custom images. Hopefully the app developer can figure out the issues. ### 3/5 — Worked then stopped *2025-04-04, version 4.0* Working this morning , now the sounds work intermittently, it keep asking for the reward images and selecting the sound is hit or miss. A bit overly complicated to set up are tasks reward. ### 3/5 — Great but could use some tweaks *2024-10-19* I’m a speech language pathologist and have been using this app for a couple of weeks now. It works great! I love that I can target multiple goals and drill 1, 3, 5, or 10 trials per goal. Only thing I’d recommend is that every time a goal is targeted, for that goal to be “crossed/marked” out, that way the patient knows they’ve completed that goal. Also, would like to be able to add pictures of my clients, or anything else BESIDES the owl. Lastly, there is a random sound that keeps playing in the background of the app. Sounds like static. Not sure if it’s a bug that needs to be fixed but yeah it’s a little annoying. ### 5/5 — Thank you! *2024-09-08, version 4.0* Love using this app with my son.
