### 2/5 — Navigation has a major flaw

*2026-07-01*

I’ve used this app for navigation since I bought my Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro in 2022. It has generally worked well, although it has a number of annoyances and things that could be improved a lot (as mentioned in many other reviews). I won’t go into those here, but I want to point out what seems to be a major bug. (And it seems to be new, introduced sometime within the last two years.)

The app needs an internet connection to create a route, but once programmed in, it does not need an internet connection to navigate. When stopping the bike to get gas or whatever, the app connects back up to the bike and navigation resumes within a minute or so. That is all just fine.

But the behavior that has changed is that it now requires an internet connection to resume the route after stopping and restarting the bike. This is HORRIBLE behavior! When on a backcountry route with no internet connectivity, if you stop the bike for any reason, you are left with no navigation until you find someplace where you can connect to the internet. (The GPS tray on the bike’s display screen just says “No Destination”.) WHY DOES THE APP NEED AN INTERNET CONNECTION TO RESUME A ROUTE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PROGRAMMED IN???

I believe this behavior is new. I used the app on a 5,000 mile trip in a lot of remote areas two years ago, and I don’t remember this ever happening. On a 1,500 mile trip I just returned from, I ran into this problem constantly! I would give this app a 4-star rating, but because of this problem I’m only giving it 2 stars. (And that’s being generous.)

Developers, please respond to this and tell me why an internet connection is required to resume a route. (Better yet, fix the problem!)

### 2/5 — Could be so much more!

*2026-06-01, version 1.2.17*

Great start to an app but really needs some development - feels archaic. No way to save favourite destinations (e.g. home) or routes! Basic sat nav stuff! Could even add petrol stations and speed cameras with not much effort, but saving places is priority.

### 1/5 — App not operational

*2026-05-23*

App is not operational in latest ios

### 1/5 — Broken app

*2026-05-19, version 1.2.17*

I can’t even log in after registering. Every time I submit the login form I get a message that says “registration done, please login.”

### 2/5 — Awful

*2026-05-12, version 1.2.17*

Absolutely awful, takes ages to pair then drops and frankly functionality is dreadful

### 3/5 — Finally paired it with iPhone

*2026-04-16, version 1.2.17*

I found out you can’t have a long name for your iPhone or the app won’t pair with the bike. I think 12 letters is the max. Sat nav OK but the route options are not as good as Apple Maps. I like the data it shows for your bike and the option to store rides.

### 2/5 — Underwhelmed

*2026-04-13, version 1.2.17*

How about the ability to have a saved location such as “home”? Seems kinda ridiculous that such an obvious feature is missing

### 3/5 — Could be so much better

*2026-04-10, version 1.2.17*

I have been using this for 5 years on 3 different bikes. The main use is as a Satnav but it disappoints in various ways: It needs a minimum of a good strength 4G to calculate a route or update. It uses Google maps as a base but doesn’t have the option of using offline maps. It also doesn’t let you save a destination but does accept What3words or postcodes as well as plain language. On some bikes it can show the distance & time to destination but not on my Scrambler 1200 X. Frustrating!

### 1/5 — Poor

*2026-04-08, version 1.2.17*

Poor connection, drops all the time and takes me many attempts to re connect.

### 1/5 — POS App

*2026-03-24, version 1.2.17*

Will not recognize bike. Probably written by the same engineers that cant even get the speedometer accurate on a 2025 Triumph what a joke

### 2/5 — Extremely Limited

*2026-03-21, version 1.2.17*

Just purchased a trident 660. I was excited about the interface with my phone. Thinking I could use my phone’s map via Bluetooth and not have to worry about buying an expensive phone holder. However, that’s not the case. This app is very limited and seems like they can unlock features to more coincide with interfaces with cars. Would be more apt if I could open Google maps on my own or Apple Maps and use data from there on the gauge.

I do like how it keeps track of the mileage and such with my bike, but that also seems a little limited.

Getting Bluetooth to connect is very challenging. It will connect through the app on the phone quickly, but the My Triumph app will fail many times unless you’re extremely careful on your steps.

Hopefully updates will come.

### 1/5 — Muito restrito

*2026-02-02*

Precisa melhorar MUITO.

### 1/5 — Navigation won’t pair with IOS

*2026-01-31, version 1.2.17*

I have followed the instructions to the letter on pairing my iPhone 17. The phone pairs with the bike no problem but the app will not pair. The enable navigation stage doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Maps Don’t Work

*2026-01-02, version 1.2.17*

I like others from different forums have commented the phones successfully to the bike so that music and intercom functionality works; but maps screen which is supremely important for a sport touring type of bike, does not work.
If having maps functionality is important to you on the bike natively so that your camera phone isn’t broken my phone mounts, DO NOT BUY a Triumph. This has been an ongoing issue for many owners for years and Triumph still hasn’t provided a fix to the maps screen / connectivity.

### 2/5 — Precisa melhorar

*2025-11-29*

O app precisa melhorar bastante, desde o lançamento não evoluiu nada. Faltam informações na tela de navegação, como a distância que falta, opções de configurações é melhorar a navegação.

### 1/5 — Cannot use with another bloody account

*2025-11-08, version 1.2.14*

I’ve used this used since buying my bike a couple month ago. Now when trying to use it I’m stuck at a login screen. I’m sure there was a “skip” option previously.
Why would I want to have an account?
WY TRIUMPH WHY?!

### 1/5 — Important features missing

*2025-10-14*

It is incredibly annoying there is no option to save frequent addresses to pick as destination

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-10-06, version 1.2.14*

Can’t even get logged in, this is an embarrassing app from a company that tries to present themselves as a premium experience

### 1/5 — Pairing

*2025-10-05, version 1.2.14*

Never been able to pair the navigation - dealership also at a loss & say they have lots of reported issues.

### 1/5 — Não map

*2025-09-30*

Não funciona ningún app

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Dreadful

*2026-08-17, version 1.2.18*

A real pita to set up. When you do this app, my phone and Cardo can’t agree which is the controller. Consequently none of them work well. So iPhone and Cardo work fine together just forget Mytriumph 🙄

### 1/5 — Can’t connect to my brand new bike.

*2026-08-13, version 1.2.18*

Initial setup has been a nightmare. Following instructions to the letter and I can’t even connect to my brand new bike’s bluetooth on a new iPhone. Feel cheated I cannot utilize this BASIC function that was sold to me at the dealer.

### 1/5 — No nav

*2026-08-01, version 1.2.18*

App needs a version update . Can’t use nav function. iPhone 16 pro and 2024 tiger 900 gt Aragon

### 1/5 — Just Doesn’t Work

*2026-07-27, version 1.2.18*

This app just doesn’t work. Once I add my VIN, it finds & recognizes my bike. After I select the instrument cluster that matches my bike (or any, I’ve tried them all) it says: “Can't add bike! Your device's Bluetooth name exceeds the maximum limit of 22 characters (including spaces). Please shorten the Bluetooth name below this limit before starting the connection process.” There are no instructions to do this and no help links.

### 1/5 — Has never worked

*2026-07-19, version 1.2.18*

Riding a 2025 Tiger 900 Rally Pro. I tried to get this app to work when the bike was new. I try again each time the app is updated but still no luck. The app will not connect to the bike. Worthless.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2026-07-18, version 1.2.18*

Great idea, but very poor. Connection problems, have given up now and don’t use. If you have to pay for this as an extra, don’t.

### 1/5 — Critical Rider Safety Issue – Motorcycle Routing Needs Fix on the App

*2026-07-07*

The My Triumph Navigation app has a serious rider safety issue.

It repeatedly generates routes that direct motorcycles onto roads where motorcycles are legally prohibited in India, as if it is using car routing logic instead of motorcycle-specific navigation. This can put riders in unsafe situations, force sudden diversions or U-turns, and may even lead to traffic violations.

I reported this issue to Triumph with route examples, expecting it to be investigated by the software team. Instead, I received a generic response asking me to visit a service center, even though this is clearly a navigation software issue—not a fault with the motorcycle.

The My Triumph Connectivity System is a premium paid feature. Riders should be able to trust that its navigation respects motorcycle restrictions and prioritizes rider safety.

I hope the My Triumph product team acknowledges this issue, escalates it to the navigation development team, and implements motorcycle-specific routing logic as soon as possible. This is a safety issue that deserves attention.

### 1/5 — Why does it not have basic satnav functionality

*2026-06-23*

Really disappointed with the connectivity and functionality of the app. So have had to disconnect it. Such a shame as the bike is great but the app and TFT functionality is poor.
1) Voice commands stop working on my Sena intercom once the bike connects.
2) The satnav lacks the basic functionality of just about every other app on the market and you can’t view the map to see the road ahead when you mount your phone on your bike - so i’ve ended up using Calimoto. I use a Beeline Moto 2 on my other ‘classic’ Triumph which has so much better functionality and is what this app and the bike TFT screen should be.
3. Why not just enable Apple Car Play?

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2026-06-13, version 1.2.17*

Pairing with my 2023 Tiger Rally Pro is random.
Navigation is worse than useless.
On the plus side, it’s really good at transforming my battery’s charge into heat!

### 1/5 — Needs to be better

*2026-05-31, version 1.2.17*

18 months of use and this app is still frustratingly annoying! It keeps losing connection and the only to deal with that is to delete and re-install. Come on Triumph, make an improvement?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nav Now Works!!!

*2025-03-22, version 1.2.14*

I’m updating my review after the devs said they pushed a fix. I was able to pair via Bluetooth the first time without issue to my Trident! And Navigation works as advertised. It’s basic, but honestly all I need for riding.

Big thanks and appreciation for making this app and my bike’s connectivity usable!

### 5/5 — 2024 Tiger 900 Rally Pro

*2024-08-18, version 1.2.11*

Downloaded the app for my new Bike on my iPhone 10, connected and paired right away, had 2 routes this weekend and all worked great. Audio directions through my phone to my Sena and good visuals on the display.

### 5/5 — It’s getting better with Version 1.2.5

*2022-12-30*

Call in Connect to my tiger 900 pro using the iPhone app until this version came out.
There are actually some pretty cool features, for example, you can load a GPX file in, or record a ride.

### 5/5 — Impressed with functionality it offers

*2022-09-18*

Map rooting with Google What3Words is superb, it always seems to navigate brilliantly. I can deselect motorways or tolls and it intelligently finds alternative routes. Nice to see my bikes status and mileage etc in the My Garage section. Also good for retracing My Rides when you go on a bimble and find a really good route to share. Bluetooth connectivity and intercom use has been great. This is the way forward.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-08-18*

Updated 08/18:
Great to see that the app of being improved with newer features! Happy to know that folks at triumph are not sleeping post release of the v1.0.

Feature request: Saving frequently visited PoIs like Home, Work, Gym etc to avoid keying in the address everytime. Please allow for users to save a min of 5 frequently visited places as ‘speed dial’.

****************************************************
Updates as on 01/26: Using the app for a few weeks, feel the following can be improved 1. Show the map and route updates/ traffic updates (with navigation prompts) on the amazing TFT screen Tigers have. 2. Show trip metrics e.g. Speed/ Top speed/ Lean Angle/ Fuel Consumption 3. Allow bike ride planning in advance and save atleast 5 future trips. 4. Allow atleast 2 fav POIs , home & office so that it’s faster to get going. ——•—•—I love the interface and it’s certainly handy to have the navigation prompts on the beautiful/ large TFT screen (phone can be in your pocket/ no need to use the phone screen for navigation). The pairing was a bit tricky thought - the instructions are great for iOS but one key requirement is missing - your phone’s name/Bluetooth name can’t be long (say more than 15 to 20 characters, if that is the case the pairing will be successful but navigation will not connect. I got to solve it by Trail & Error. This should be added as a call out on the instructions. Overall great app!

**Developer response:** Hi BulletRider1413,

Thanks for taking the time to offer your feedback and suggestions we are pleased you are enjoying the app.

Regards
My Triumph Team

### 5/5 — Works Great

*2020-12-08, version 1.1.1*

I had read reviews regarding this app and seen that the reviews were not great. I purchased my bike on Nov 25 and the app must have been updated since it works perfectly. I have IPhone 12Pro Max

### 4/5 — Reliable. Steady connection. But not very feature rich…

*2025-07-25, version 1.2.14*

So much more reliable than, for example, BMW Connnected.

But.

It would be nice if the logged rides gave more than just a route. Speed and Reva would be good and surely easy enough. Lean and acceleration/braking would be better still. Y’know, so you could get something interesting.

But it does work as it says it does. Which is a plus.

### 4/5 — No new features in 3 years

*2025-07-14*

Summer 2025 update: No new features as far as I can see since my last review 3 years ago. Still can’t delete Stored Rides. Still can’t save anything to Favorites list. Still can’t save a route directly from map. All I see is updates for newer IOS versions and newer bike models. This is unacceptable from a brand like Triumph! You’re losing market share due to this lame app. Others are now offering full map displays and rich feature sets. C’mon Triumph, get with it!

Sept 2022 v1.2.3 update: Stored Rides has a Favorites, but there doesn’t seem any way to save a fav. When saving a ride it automatically goes to Stored. When navigating, ETA is the ETA of the next turn, not the ETA of the route. If bike time is set to 12 Hr display and ETA is after noon, ETA incorrectly shows as AM, but will show correctly if time display is set to 24 Hr clock. As others noted, bad names for hiway exit ramps is really annoying and dangerous. Nav also uses out of date street names, like years out of date! These incorrect Nav instructions are inexcusable if Google Maps are under the covers.

August: Yay!! Finally some stellar updates! Being able to import GPX routes and store them for future use is a total game changer for this app. Ability to save completed free ride or nav ride is awesome as well. Now we just need to be able to create a route on nav screen and save it for future use.

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and offering your feedback for improvements.

### 4/5 — Works great……eventually

*2024-02-10, version 1.2.10*

Although it took time, watching tutorials and a little frustration, the interface now works great. My phone, music, navigation and go pro work without issue. Not sure why it needs separate connections for phone and nav but regardless it works. Thought I’d put up a more favourable review as the new version deserves more than a 1 star. Shame it didn’t get rolled out correctly from the get go.

### 4/5 — Works on Speed Triple 1200RS 2023

*2023-08-15, version 1.2.7*

Was a bit tricky as most said to setup via Vin which didn’t work for me.
I just followed the instructions as per the YouTube video and it works every time for me.
I would like to see if I can select to avoid unsealed roads though. Maybe in the future or I may have to upload a map that does.
Thanks Triumph. 🤙✌️
