However, I hope they fix the signing in process because it keeps telling me to update my password even though I recently just updated it. There are also times where I have to sign in twice in the same log in attempt, not because I put in my password wrong. I sign in correctly, then when I click on “my chart” it will ask me again to sign in. It’s easy to communicate with people doctors and such. The only real issue I have is about 90% of the time it doesn’t matter whether I use biometric or name and password it usually takes about three times before it log in. ### 4/5 — Cannot communicate with Dr & Nurse using app *2024-07-22, version 3.16.1* This is a great app except I cannot communicate with my doctor or his nurse. I am being treated by Dr Jason Samarasena at UC-Irvine in Orange, CA for Barrett’s esophagus. Cancer was found and removed by Dr Sam. And information about the costs has been conflicting. Seriously, I’ve used UCI Health for over two decades and they continually, gratefully evolve. My Cart is super efficient! Incredible timely correspondence with your doctors. I couldn’t send a Message to my doctor. It showed that you can only do so if your doctor messaged you first and indicated you can respond. This feature doesn’t make sense as it limits the patient interaction. I tried checking on MyChart Support but their suggested solution doesn’t work either. It’s outright frustrating and annoying. For a patient experiencing medical issues and looking for answers to questions, the experience only worsens the problem. UC Irvine Medical Center should be ashamed of the lack of respect,concern for, and the disdain they have seemingly have for the patients seeking their care, as demonstrated by the horrible “My UCI Health they created as representative of their institution. However, when it comes to the app - it is not intuitive nor user-friendly. I consider myself pretty tech savvy but some of the pages are missing the back button. For example, when I am in messages there is no back button. My husband figured out to tap the upper left where the back button usually is and it works. But why hide it? Please add a back button on all pages so patients don’t get frustrated using this app. Thank you! ### 1/5 — Appointment schedule *2023-09-03, version 3.8.0* I’m not even allowed to pick date time for my appointment anymore!!!That is so backwards! It looks like the schedulers in the hospitals are so powerful that they want to keep their job and not let customers schedule their appointments. Schedulers do NOT own the hospital!! You have to request appointments and then schedulers don’t even call you back!! Patients need access to the schedule so THEY can choose time date date for their appointments. It is monitored regularly and they respond and post lab results quickly. Dr Stephen Chang is an excellent primary care physician. He writes results very clearly so I can understand them. Dr Yu Po Lee, my orthopedic doctor, also posts my xray results very timely. I really appreciate this service and their consistency with using it as a portal for getting medical information to me. ### 5/5 — First visit with Dr. Goitia *2024-01-09, version 3.8.0* Today when I arrived l was given a ekg by the nurse (Prince) . He was very professional and thorough . He carefully explained what was going to occur today. Doctor Goitia would have the results and then I would meet him. I then met him and I found to very patient with me as he listened to my problems. After a through examination he ordered the echo cardiogram to view the area of concern.
