I was advised by Uniden they no longer support this product. I do notice they’re still selling cameras that offer connectivity through this app. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-09-11* My old uniden cameras were flawless. This app and cameras are useless. Can drive my work truck past them with no alerts. 1-3m from cameras. Sales person walked under them today didn’t even pick her up. Set up a family now neither of us get alerts. Apparently to get cars and pets you have to subscribe. Totally useless. Selling all my uniden and going to another brand. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2025-09-08* Please do not buy the Uniden range. False advertisement for each dot point for the Uniden. • pan and tilt with thermal humidifier. • Customer service 24/7 • Clear vision • alert messages • AI enchantment and cloud are a complete waste of time and money. Very disappointing indeed Uniden! ### 1/5 — Disappointed, nothing like the Solo app *2025-08-25* Didn’t realise that I would need yet another app, having Uniden Solo camera that use the Solo app. Features of this app is worse than the Solo, cannot remove the logo, move the timestamp, need to pay a subscription to access “AI” features that past cameras had for free. Sadly last time I’ll get a Uniden product. ### 1/5 — Deceiving users, terrible UX *2025-05-17* I bought another Uniden solo cctv camera to add to our house. Only upon installation did I realise that this “solo” series product is not compatible with the “solo” app and I need to install yet another app. What’s worse the previous cameras cannot be added to the new app so now I get notifications from two apps which makes this whole setup a huge mess. When contacted about this, Uniden refuse to acknowledge that there is any issue with providing backwards compatibility with cameras only bought a couple of months ago. Furthermore, in this new app, the history feature is absolutely atrocious. It’s a timeline that you have to scroll through to discover any recorded video clips. It’s not as straightforward as the old app where you see all recordings lined up neatly. Buyer beware: avoid Uniden and go with a company that actually understands UX design. ### 1/5 — Notifications just stopped. Inconsistent MOTION detection *2025-01-22* The notification just stopped with this app. The quality is ok but the motion detection is inconsistent. I had a guy pick up some parcel at my doorstep this morning it didn’t capture the guy. No alert no motion detection nothing. The other camera captured it but the doorbell camera didn’t. And you can’t record simultaneously all ur camera using the app. Only record when ur camera detected something and only for short period. Regret buying this brand ### 2/5 — Not the most user friendly but functional *2026-05-10* I’ve managed to fumble my way through the app although it would be good if it gave more information about each setting. I can’t even find information about specific settings in the app or user manual so unsure what certain settings do/don’t do. I had 4 devices connected on a subscription, then added a fifth with no issues. I’ve now added a 6th device but I’m unable to add to my subscription which allows for up to 10 devices. However, when I try to add the 6th device it doesn’t appear in the binding list. Rather, the Uniden app tells me to start a new subscription. I need help to get this rectified so all 6 devices are on the same annual subscription. ### 2/5 — Awful app, camera ~okay~ *2025-10-25* Camera somewhat works, detection is spotty. App is absolutely awful, worst app ive used in years. Now sends me 15 notifcations within 10 minutes (not exaggerating) telling me the camera is at 15%, not changing, keeps telling me its at 15% over & over. ### 2/5 — App not working *2025-02-04* When will the app be fixed? Several features don’t work. Would be ideal if you could assign siren & light settings to a motion detection schedule (i.e. siren on at night And siren off during the day but still have motion detection notification). Also, shared family members cannot access the cloud recordings.
