Loved how easy to navigate it is, but the only thing I wish it had to make it 5 stars, is scanning the cover of the record (not the barcode) and be able to pull it up on the app. I LOVE how you can listen to teasers of the songs right there on the app. But to make it easier to find records, a cover scan would be a gamechanger

Je découvre l application qui est plutôt bien faite et intuitive. Une fonctionnalité qui me semble importante à intégrer lors de l ajout de disques dans sa propre collection, c est la possibilité de scanner le disque sans devoir rentrer toutes les infos à la main et rechercher la version du vinyle que je possède .. fastidieux.. 
est ce prévu dans la roadmap??

I just have a couple tiny requests: grid view and sorting options on the WantList page. Also slightly larger thumbnails on the phone app would be welcome. Otherwise clean solid app.

Man zahlt für die Apple, muss ich jetzt noch gezwungenermaßen anmelden. Die App wird von Update zu Update immer schlechter.

**Developer response:** Hallo Jonnybbg, entschuldige, dass das passiert ist, es war ein Fehler bei einigen internen Datenmigrationen. Du solltest selbstverständlich Zugriff auf deine bezahlten Inhalte haben, und die neueste Version 3.9.5 sollte das beheben: bitte drücke "Einkäufe wiederherstellen", falls du wieder auf die Bezahlschranke stößt. Wenn das nicht funktioniert, kontaktiere mich bitte über die Schaltfläche "Kontakt per E-Mail" in My Vinyl. Ich bin hier, um zu helfen. Danke!

This app’s design has made record/cd collecting a whole lot easier. There are some improvements that would make it better. One, when you are viewing an item, you can only see one photo, while on discogs, you can see all of them. This should be on this app too. Two, on discogs you can view the value of each individual item while on this app you can only see the value of your whole collection. I also had some trouble with the widgets, but I’m not sure if  thats a problem with my phone. Either way great app. I recommend!

Have you tried the recently released records value functionality? You can check the value of each record by navigating into a record details and pressing the alternate releases button (the one that looks like stacked squares). It was a first iteration, but I will iterate on this from v4.0 upward.
Also - a revamped engine for widgets will come very soon, and I hope this will fix the issues that have been appearing for too long. :) Thank you!

Good catalog of records but quite buggy. Drops platinum subscription at random and crashes frequently.

Thank you for the review, please do reach out via the “contact via email” button in the app’s preferences. I believe this last version (3.9.5) should fix most of the issues with the subscription - unfortunately they were introduced a couple of bugfixes ago while trying to share the platinum status to widgets.
If this persists, I’d love to understand what went wrong and work on a better fix for it!

Ansich eine sinnvolle, nützliche App. Wenn es die Möglichkeit gäbe, dass die eigenen Notes von Discogs angezeigt werden würden, würde ich sie auch kaufen. Hintergrund ist, dass ich meine komplette Sammlung nach Regalen/Einschüben geordnet habe, deren Nummern ich für die jeweilige Platte in den Notes auf Discogs eingetragen habe, um sie schneller zu finden.

### 3/5 — Schöne Übersicht mit Verbesserungspotential

Mir gefällt die App prinzipiell ganz gut, insbesondere zur Übersicht der vorhandenen LPs. Das wofür ich bezahle hat aber deutlich Verbesserungspotential. Im Marktplatz wird immer eine gerade Linie angezeigt, egal ob dich der Wert ändert. Niedrigster und höchster Wert im Chart sind nicht lesbar. Spannend wäre welche LPs schwanken. Auch das Hinzufügen mache ich direkt über Discogs weil ich in der App gar nicht die richtige Version auswählen kann, sondern mich anscheinend eher am Marktplatz bediene. Ich sehe Potential in der App, wechsle aber leider viel zu oft zu Discogs.

Im Gegensatz zur original App von Discogs finde ich diese hier um Welten besser! Was noch super wäre, wäre wenn die zwischen CD und Vinyl unterscheiden könnte

Ça avait l’air intéressant mais ne sert à rien sans Discogs. Même dans la version payante, pas possible de créer des dossiers de manière indépendante sur l’appli, il faut au préalable le faire sur Discogs. Payer pour avoir un miroir de Discogs c’est honteux. Et puis le lien vers Spotify ou autre plateforme bof ! On peut faire une recherche manuelle ça prend 2 secondes !

L'application peut télécharger et conserver tous vos disques hors ligne, les afficher dans une interface plus agréable et est entièrement développée pour votre iPhone/iPad. Les widgets, qui manquent dans l'application principale de Discogs, permettent l'intégration avec Apple Music et Spotify pour lire rapidement vos disques. Et ce n’est pas tout !

Auch Löschen kann man nicht zuverlässig. Ansonsten gute App.

### 1/5 — Serious performance and stability issues

My first 20 minutes with the app were terrible. 

Removing Records from a collection was super buggy. Sometimes records were removed and sometimes they weren’t. Refreshing the Screen would show that albums that should have been deleted weren’t. And eventually, the app just crashed.

Unfortunately the performance of this app is awful and there are way too many bugs to be usable.

Thank you for leaving the review! You were right - some more maintenance was definitely required. The good news is that in the last few releases I've fixed the topmost crashes and streamline the records management experience.

The app now also downloads the whole collection of records at start, and there's no upper limit to how many records a collection can contain (although it will slow down due to Discogs infrastructure after 6000 records or so).

I would love if you could give the app another try, but no hard feelings otherwise, your comment sparked some good work that should've been there in the first place.

Looks like spam to me. Tried and quickly
Logged out and changed my discogs credentials.

Reeks of Chinese spam and for what? It’s just discogs with rubbish skins and pop up adverts.
Oh and the option to give them money.

Also vinyl is already plural.
No need for the word ‘vinyls’ to ever exist.
Every vinyl fanatic knows this. With the exception of this apps creator(s).

The whole description makes me think that maybe something went wrong on Discogs side, which unfortunately I'm not associated with.

I am positive that the signup probably worked, but something was lost on the way. Would be really valuable if you could try again to log in and let me know via an email or a feedback! :)

It takes all of your Discogs listings, including CDs, cassettes, reel to reels, etc and list as “My Vinyls”.  First of all, it is a record, not a vinyl.  Vinyl is the material the record is made from.  Second, a CD is
not a “vinyl”….

Love to use this app when I am picking vinyl and I cannot remember if I already own a record.  Seems foolish but you will get there someday. The AI background information also opens up new insight into each recording.

Super application pour avoir un visu sur sa collection de vinyles !
Pour en avoir tester plusieurs, c’est la meilleure et de loin.
Intégration avec Discogs, jolis visuels, descriptions bien plus accessibles des différents version d’une vinyle (édition spéciale, import, etc) et surtout un développeur réactif et à l’écoute !

I really love this app and use it all the time. 
You can scan the vinyls directly to your collection but it's also easy to choose which variant you have if you want to add them by researching them. There are some cute fun features like every day it shows you a random vinyl from your collection and the new vinyl releases, and the marketplace feature is really cool when you can see the worth of your vinyl collection. 

At some point there was a glitch and when I sent a message to the creator of the app they were very kind, understanding and efficient and it was resolved within 2 days. 

I highly recommend it if you want to have your vinyl collection in your phone !

Bin Anfänger was das Sammeln angeht und habe etwas gesucht um meine Platten übersichtlich zu katalogisieren.

Um die App ausgiebig zu testen kam mir eine auf eBay ersteigerte Sammlung mit annähernd 250 alten Platten ganz gelegen.

Aktuell habe ich etwa 80 davon aufgenommen und habe erst einen Sampler aus den 70er Jahren nicht gefunden. Interessanterweise sind seine Nachfolger jedoch in der Bibliothek aufgelistet.

Das einzige Manko was ich bisher registriert habe ist, dass man einmal der Sammlung hinzugefügte Platten nicht wieder aus der Sammlung löschen kann. Vielleicht übersehe ich da aber auch etwas. Falls jemand helfen kann gebt gern Bescheid.

Mir bereitet die App auf jeden Fall Freude und ich kann sie wärmstens empfehlen.
