## What is My Watch Memoir?

My Watch Memoir is the tool/app used by collectors, all around the world, to manage their watch collection.

Watch collectors and enthusiasts can SAFELY & PRIVATELY catalogue their timepieces, store their details/photos/service records/papers, and record & preserve their watch stories.

My Watch Memoir also provides enthusiasts ANALYTICS & INSIGHTS from their watch collection. They can see things like the distribution of their collection by style, era, movement and much more. Watch collectors also get metrics to track the financial performance of their current portfolio/investment and of their sold timepieces.

In addition to having their entire collection at their fingertips, collectors can export/print PDF files of their watches for insurance purposes, for selling or for simply storing a physical extract.

My Watch Memoir was designed by collectors for collectors, and this is why it also features other helpful tools, including:

-	Glossary of Watch Terms (to help you master the watch lingo)
-	List of US Import Codes (for vintage Swiss watches from the 1930s-60s)
-	Dating Tables by Manufacturer/Brand (to help you date your watches)

Unlike other watch apps, My Watch Memoir is built around PRIVACY & SECURITY. All your watch collection data is stored locally on your device (you control the data), we don’t host any of it (reason why you don’t have to create an account), and your watch collection data will never be shared with third parties (only you have access to it). YOUR WATCHES, YOUR WATCH COLLECTION DATA. IT'S THAT SIMPLE. The app also allows collectors to export & import data backups. My Watch Memoir App is not connected to any database and therefore, watch specifications are entered manually.

### 1/5 — Can not get it to accept inputs

I think this would be a great app for many reasons. And I tried my best to use it. But I can not get past the input for purchase price. Got it done once. That was it. And unfortunately it will not let you skip that as it is a “required” field to the app. I even went as far as uninstalling it and starting from scratch hoping that would help, it didn’t. But I can not entertain the thought of the paid version if I can not even get to see the features of it. High hopes, disappointment of results.

There are several applications that perform this function. I installed about seven of them, then proceeded to shortlist and came to this one pretty quickly. The interface is clean the amount of detail that you can enter it sufficient. I like that you can perform backups of the data. I have made a couple of feature suggestions and we will see what happens. Adding a statistics log to track performance is a nice feature. Add to that a wear log and that would get this app it’s final star.

As a newcomer to the rabbit hole I wanted some way of tracking my small collection. I’d just been using a text file and storing photos on my phone but this is what I was looking for.

Few things:

I don’t personally see the need for the required fields. Sometimes I want to add a picture and a name and come back to it. 

Second, and I apologise to the developer if I’ve missed it, but a URL field would be great so I can put the watch web page in there. Or even the ability to add custom fields. Can’t see a strap field either.

The wish list feature is great, especially how you can move a watch on the wish list to owned watches. 

In general I love this app. There’s just a few things that stop it being perfect.

Bought the app, also bought two of the 25 piece books. Still haven’t shipped after 8 weeks. Does the company still exist?  Book had really good reviews. Disappointed I haven’t received it and worried since no response to inquiries. Hope it’s not a health issue.

An easy to use and intuitive app that I have started using. Although all entries are done manually the preset fields prompt you to record all the important information. It's a free app but I always like to kick in the annual subscription to encourage the ongoing support and development of these great apps

What a great, clean, fun app for watch collectors. Nice wanted something like this for awhile that just lets me archive my watches (and, btw, set the time), and doesn’t try to sell me anything. Would pay for an ad-free version!
