### 4/5 — Bottle count

*2022-01-19, version 3.9.1*

Unless I’m missing something, it would be nice to have a total bottle count.
But I love the way it provides my info at my fingertips.

### 3/5 — Need help

*2021-01-18, version 3.7*

I can’t give a review yet because I’m still trying to figure out the app. I paid the $3.99 so I can add more but I have the app on my phone and iPad but the information doesn’t cross over. How do I share the info to my other device?

### 3/5 — I’ve Presentation

*2020-08-29, version 3.6*

Looks nice. Bit strange to get into. I miss any ability to rate my wine and add comments.
Also it has a bar code reader but why? Doesn’t do anything.
Not sure I’ll keep using it but I’ll persevere for a while.

### 4/5 — Question

*2020-04-05*

Can more than 1 phone in the household use the app for the same collection?

### 5/5 — First Wine App That Works How I Want it Too

*2020-01-15, version 3.2*

Great App! Tells me everything I have in ‘the cellar’. The year, vineyard, variety and even allows you to add a picture of the wine!

### 5/5 — My Wine Cellar

*2019-10-09, version 3.0.1*

I have found this to be a really handy and easy to use app to keep an inventory of my wine cellar. I have over a hundred different wines so it is very useful to be able to sort them by winery, variety and country and to track my consumption and replenishments month by month. Making new entries and then adjusting the number on hand is very easy. Highly recommended for anyone with more than a few dozen bottles.

### 4/5 — Review Sept 2019

*2019-09-18, version 2.8*

“My Wine Cellar”, app is useful & easy to operate, if like me you may not have a wine cellar but enjoy a glass of wine using a cooler, fridge or garage to store your bottles, this app helps identify & record those you like & dislike. With its bright, bold screen & colours its easy to record. You can filter by variety/winery/country, add photograph of the label, additional information & notes. When shopping referring to this app makes it easy when re stocking or looking at others of the same family or country.

### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for

*2019-07-02, version 2.4*

A really simple app to use. Use to use a spreadsheet but that was horrible. Thanks for meeting all of my needs.

### 5/5 — Great wine cellar app! And very responsive developer!!

*2019-06-19, version 2.4*

I looked up wine cellar apps to find a good one to enter all the bottles I have in my cellar. I tried a few different apps and gave them a test run... and I really liked this one in particular.

To make the app better, I asked the developer to add a function so I could use pictures from my photo album, and he made the upgrade in less than 24 hours!!! And he is very open to other suggestions - which I have started to provide.

### 5/5 — Responsive

*2019-04-06, version 2.0*

I really like this app! I research. Bunch of them and this one tops it all. The best part is the fact that I had a special request for improvements and it was worked on faster than ever expected! Thank you so much!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Hidden price. Ain’t free

*2021-06-12, version 3.7*

So after 8 bottles you will pay. And at 15, 25. ? 50, 100. Who knows ?!

Bar code Scanner works poorly and poor input flow

### 1/5 — Must purchase to add 8+ bottles

*2020-08-04, version 3.5*

If you have more than 8 bottles. It is not free. You must pay 3.99 to add more than 8 bottles

### 1/5 — Wayne’s review

*2020-08-04, version 3.5*

The app only allows 8 wines to be entered then it charges you $3.99 for the app. I went back and carefully read the disclosures and this is not clearly mentioned. I’d done the work of adding 8 wines already so I paid it, but if they would have been upfront I’d have searched other apps first before buying this app or starting a list of my wines in it.

### 1/5 — Not Great

*2020-05-28, version 3.4*

The barcode scanner does not look up new wines. You cannot add notes. Very basic and utterly useless.

### 1/5 — Worst App ever!

*2020-01-08, version 3.2*

Just downloaded this and tried to scan 6 wines with no success. I specifically chose some “standard” wines such as Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc and a Stags Leap Chardonnay and it “couldnt find the wine”. I shuddered to think how long it might take me to inventory all of my wines because this app can’t find ANY. What does their app scan?....Robert Mondavi. ?????? Uggh!

### 1/5 — Meh

*2020-01-06, version 3.2*

Tried to scan several common bottles, nothing carried over

### 1/5 — Do not bother.

*2019-11-28, version 3.1.0*

Awful. Cumbersome and very poor functionality.

### 1/5 — Not free

*2018-12-23, version 1.6*

Very miss leading

### 2/5 — Very limited features. Prepare to type everything yourself

*2020-08-02, version 3.5*

I was hopeful that an app with bar code scanning would actually be able to look up wines, fill in the fields, and save my thumbs. Alas, no. Even when spending to unlock additional features, this app is no better than Baby’s First Database app. At least it doesn’t crash. Without the Dropbox integration it would only merit one star. Export capability is critical, so it gets a second star.

### 2/5 — Crashes constantly!

*2018-12-31, version 1.7*

This app appeared to be exactly what I was looking for, but it will not stay running on my Apple iPhone X running the latest iOS 12.1.2. Regrettably, I had to delete it.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Pmac

*2024-09-11, version 3.9.1*

Easy as

### 5/5 — Additions

*2024-09-05*

Perfect little wine cellar database for those of us with smaller collections! Suggestion would be to add a “scan a bottle out” function (ex barcode) when drinking one! For now this is a manual (fingers crossed I remember) thing!!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2023-06-26, version 3.9.1*

This app was just what I was looking for - an easy way to catalogue my 20 or so cases of wine to keep track of what I have when I’m wine tasting and buying.

I also contacted the developer with a suggestion and he responded right away.

Well worth the $5 in the time it saves me not having to update a clunky spreadsheet.

### 5/5 — Michael

*2021-12-10, version 3.9.1*

I have been using this app over the past 3 years
and think it is absolutely fantastic!
It has been instrumental in keeping track of not only the inventory but also critical data associated with each wine and winery!
It is easy to populate and provides information both current and historical !
By far the best wine app I have used for managing a wine collection as I have tried several before that fell short!
Great app and I highly recommend it!!!!

### 5/5 — Update to previous review

*2021-03-09, version 3.7*

This is an update to my previous review. It turns out I misunderstood a few things regarding this app. As the developer has responded to my request, I now understand the intention of this app and it’s current state of development and frankly, my attitude has been adjusted! Cheers, and thank you for creating this app!

**Developer response:** Currently, My Wine Cellar is a one time purchase to allow for unlimited number of wine entries. What I want to do is create a version that would have an online data store so that you could access your collection from multiple devices or share with your partner or spouse for example. The back end storage would be an ongoing cost so before you know it, I would be paying out of pocket to maintain the service.

For this reason, my current thinking is to create a new app that would be on an inexpensive subscription service to help me manage ongoing costs. I have already created a migration method for existing users to be able to migrate their entire cellar over. This will be a year long process to build the app but in the meantime, I will continue to maintain and update the existing version.

### 5/5 — It’s great to have the wine collection organized!

*2020-08-08, version 3.5*

This app has an easy to use interface that allowed me to easily catalog all of our wine! I especially like the ability to stack multiple vintages within the same entry to make for a more streamlined view of everything.

### 5/5 — Steve and Sandra’s Wine Cellar

*2020-07-21, version 3.5*

Our wine cellar is a fairly new project at our house. It required our reclaiming the basement: waterproofing floors and walls then installing racks and lighting and then more lighting. Getting tired of endless cob webs. But, what a wonderful addition to the house! Then we began to stock the racks. But how does one organize ? This app is the answer! My shelves are organized by variety, and within variety, by year. I know this will sound crazy, but sometimes it is relaxing to go to the cellar and simply enjoy being with my collection. And I never get tired of using the features this app offers. So good job and thank you! Come by and we’ll have a glass or two!

### 5/5 — Extremely useful

*2020-07-01, version 3.4*

Stewart added some enhancements recently which makes this app really useful.
Able to identify wine by Vintage year, and Best consumption year. No excuses for letting your wine spoil by forgetting when to consume it, or drinking wine before it’s best consumption year as suggested by the wine maker.
Definitely worth buying this app. 👍

### 5/5 — This app is awesome!

*2020-05-07, version 3.3*

I absolutely love this app. It has improved my wine experience exponentially. First, I now have a way to keep track of my wine collection and quickly identify what I need to purchase more of and what I like or dislike. Second, the developer is AMAZING. He is super responsive and totally open to feedback and suggestions. I shared some ideas with him and got back to me within a few hours. It is completely worth the money invested. In fact, I would say it is a bargain for what you get!

### 5/5 — Great option for tracking wine

*2020-04-13, version 3.2*

This app is great to track all the wine in your cellar or whatever storage you have. I initially had some questions about use and got immediate and helpful response from the developer. Didn’t treat me like I was an idiot and made sure we resolved everything I needed. Highly recommend this app and anything this developer does. You can test it out for free and then pay a minimal fee to continue adding wines. Well worth the price.
