### 4/5 — One minor issue

*2026-08-11, version 2024.04*

I love the app and have used it for years. Great selection of exercises and the ability to save different workouts makes for easy logging.

Problem:
When tracking cardio exercises it logs it like exercises utilizing weights. It used to log properly but an update some time ago changed it. It’s a minor issue but it irks me

### 3/5 — Wish it did more

*2026-04-04, version 2024.04*

I had my macros first then added this. I really wish I could sync my recorded apple workouts with this app. :(

### 4/5 — Pretty Good

*2025-12-02, version 2024.04*

Been using mymacros+ for a minute and finally decided to connect my workouts. Love that there are so many workouts. Just a couple of things would make this app great.

Would be nice if you could add more timers
A list of moves and PRs on their own page or something
Would still love to add intensity 1-10 to cardio workouts.

Other than that its a great straight forward app

### 2/5 — Would be nice if it connect to my macros

*2025-01-21, version 2024.04*

I bought this app thinking it would pick up work outs from my apps or at least drop them in to my macros. There is very limited functionality and needs to be built out better.

### 4/5 — Really great app

*2024-09-14, version 2024.04*

I’ve used others, but I love this one. It’s easy to use and great to track workouts.

My one pet peeve (the only reason not to give 5 stars) is exercises can only be linked to one muscle group (difficult to track effect of compound movements) and at least one - dumbbell shoulder press - is linked to ARMS rather than shoulders.

Would love to be able to edit this information and see exercises linked to multiple groups as appropriate.

### 2/5 — I like it but…

*2024-08-20, version 2024.04*

All in all it’s been a great app. It gets annoying that you have to add work outs to calendar days, also I just figured out that you have to save and rename your work out just to keep track of previous weight and reps… it should just automatically adjust to what you last did

### 3/5 — Editing a custom workout

*2024-07-20, version 2024.04*

How do I edit the name and category of a custom workout? If I made a mistake in the spelling or something, seems like I’m stuck with this mistake.

### 3/5 — Trouble syncing my macros + with this app

*2024-06-12, version 2024.04*

Trouble syncing my macros + with this app and costumer service never responded. App support is non existent.

### 4/5 — Decent

*2024-03-22, version 2024.03*

Takes some navigating but just takes time to get familiar with it.

My only complaint and hopefully the devs fix it.

I type note or change my weight or reps and it doesn’t change. It makes me do it 2 or 3 times sometimes. To update my info, my app is up to date.

### 3/5 — Like the simplicity, but has bugs

*2024-02-16, version 2024.02*

I like the simplicity of being able to make multiple workouts and add them directly to my day from my library. I HATE that when I save a workout it reorders my workout order . If you make any changes to sets or weights, it reorders your workouts. So annoying.

### 3/5 — Basic Workout Log App

*2024-01-05, version 2023.12*

Pretty basic workout logging app. Missing a few basic functions like:
-automatically starting a test timer after a set
-repeating set weight and reps (have to enter each manually even though you are repeating)
-lack of charts/graphs. It’s going to be interesting to see if the developer improves it.

### 2/5 — Clunky for anything but lifting

*2024-01-04, version 2023.12*

Extremely limited exercises except weight lifting, but still fairly clunky to add sets. No basic cardio alternatives like yoga, skiing, etc.

### 3/5 — Mostly great

*2023-09-18, version 2023.11*

I appreciate how it tracks volume, has a large library of workouts, and converts that to calories to use with the macros app. However, the way it calculates weight lose or gain is a bit of mystery. When I consume more calories than I expend, I am told that I will lose weight. I’m not sure how that’s the case. For instance, I consumed 2721 calories and expended 2567 calories. The app stated I’d lose .1lb. This seems strange to me. I’d love to understand how that works.

Update: I’ve sent two emails with no response yet.

### 3/5 — Good enough but really tired of crashes and glitches

*2023-08-19, version 2023.10*

Basic and simple to use which is great for my ADHD but really frustrating when the app crashes out of nowhere or adds exercise sets to the wrong superset or exercise group which means I have to delete the entry and scroll down *just a little* so it doesn’t glitch and jump/skip or whatever it does.

Also the general usability of the app is good enough for just entering workouts as you go but little to no options for editing/updating old exercises, equipment, or just in general. I don’t think of everything I need to add when I’m hurriedly creating a new exercise so being able to update or edit would be a great thing for just general usability.

### 2/5 — Could be better (could be worse)

*2023-05-25*

Simple UI, but glitches too much. Too difficult to edit and manage workouts, exercises, and equipment.

Why does an exercise end up under an entirely different superset (which is also difficult to use) and I can’t move it to the correct spot? Why can’t I edit exercises? This is silly stuff that the app developers should’ve had the foresight to address when in development and not post-roll out and payment subscriptions.

### 4/5 — I’m in love with the My ______+ apps!

*2023-01-06, version 2022.13*

As the title states, I truly love the My Workout+ app!! It’s a nice and simple way to categorize and document my workouts, as well as tracking my weight loss. The fact that it works in conjunction with the My Macros+ app also helps integrate my diet for the day, showing me the calories I’ce eaten for the day and my estimated rate of weight loss over the next week. I couldn’t be more pleased with it!!

Now to get into why I only gave it four stars:
it doesn’t send information to the Health app. It’s useful being able to send my daily macros to the Health app, tracking my nutrition and weight!! What’s not as helpful, especially as someone who doesn’t own an Apple Watch, is not having an accurate input of the calories I’ve BURNED. The ability of tracking my workouts by both reps AND weight is nice!!! It gives a decent estimate in the app of the calories I’ve burned. To me, though, it seems almost redundant to do so when it doesn’t reflect accurately on my health report!!

Developers, I’m not exactly sure the requirements or difficulties of making it work, but considering you’ve been able to sync the Apple Health app with My Macros+, I would love it even more if there was that same level of accessibility with My Workout+. I’m not speaking for me, and I can’t speak for others either, but if I were one of the Apple users who had the statistics of my health sent to my doctor, I’d want them to see information regarding my health and habits such as a good workout.

### 3/5 — Good could be great

*2022-12-13, version 2022.12*

This is a good app has almost all the essentials to be a great tracker. More exercises option then I’ve seen in other apps and a nice layout If an audio cue for the end of a rest timer (so you don’t have to continuously look at your phone) and auto start rest timer when you put in a set would be added, this would a great weight tracker.

### 2/5 — Miserable

*2022-11-10, version 2022.09*

I’ve never given an app a rating before , this one is TERRIBLE.

### 2/5 — Heart rate tracking and work without cell phone

*2022-10-01, version 2022.05*

Need to improve / add Heart rate tracking and work without cell phone

### 2/5 — Not very smooth

*2022-09-27, version 2022.04*

My workout selections do not work very well. It gets delayed for a couple of minutes before it pops up. The calories burnt is not very accurate. There is a 1000 calorie difference from my Fitbit and this app. The app takes basic information to assess the calories burnt. Not very accurate. It would be ideal if it would integrate with my Fitbit data.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2025-06-15, version 2024.04*

This once great app is nothing like it used to be. Hasn’t been updated in a year, crashes all the time, and my data is continuously wiped or never saves correctly. I’m binning this now in search of something that will actually work.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2024-06-17, version 2024.04*

I had high hopes for this app. It does not sync with any devise which makes it a pain to have to copy the information manually. I assumed when I paid the subscription fee, that it would automatically upload to my macros and self adjust .
Seriously so upset that I purchased this .

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-10-04, version 2023.11*

Total waste of money. I can’t add calories burned during a custom workout. You can’t log any calories burn even though u do the listed workouts.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-11-21, version 2022.11*

I used this app for about two years….I liked it at first but as time went on there were more and more functionality issues. It tracked my one rep max and muscle groups worked but it’s gotten less reliable. I tried to stick with it but it’s bad.

Lags, freezes, doesn’t save, it just doesn’t work. It’s extremely frustrating to be in the middle of workout and this app refuses to work load or function properly. I will be deleting and never using again. Pathetic

### 1/5 — New software update makes the app unusable

*2022-10-19, version 2022.06*

I’ve used this app for years to track my workouts, but the most recent software update has made it unusable. Lag, unable to record lifts, and app crashes. Test your product before rolling it out.

### 1/5 — Not responsive

*2022-10-18, version 2022.06*

Keying in the workout and reps, just to see it not reflected in app. Frustrating! Slow and annoying when working out

### 1/5 — Builder sucks.

*2021-12-23, version 2021.06*

Used to be good. No updates and not as user friendly. It deletes my workout days or portions. Crashes constantly when want to make a superset and list takes forever to load (also crashes while loading).

I’m writing this as I just tried to update my leg day workout (cause it’s not loading my custom exercises) and when I hit save, it just deleted the whole thing. Will likely delete this app. It’s been years and not getting better , getting worse if anything

### 1/5 — Need subscription to use it on Apple Watch

*2021-02-21, version 2021.02*

I bought this app just for the Apple Watch functionality, only to find out you have to have a subscription to do that. A subscription to enter data on the watch is quite the money grab.

### 1/5 — Absolutely no videos

*2021-02-21, version 2021.02*

This app was a total waste of money! I am so frustrated. I have spent days trying to find the videos promoted by the company. They aren’t in the app at all. There’s a timer, a way to log your work out, log your weight..... nothing that my phone doesn’t have already. I only paid for it for the videos because I wanted to try toning different parts of my body. Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2021-02-15, version 2021.01*

What a waste of money. You can’t create your own routine and 75 percent of the exercises don’t show you how to perform them. Bad app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — It’s a Great App and I hope they keep adding more

*2023-11-19, version 2023.11*

It tracks most weight lifting options. I wish there were a little more like v-ups, weighted v-ups, and other exercises. But hopefully the developers will keep filling in the missing parts of weight lifting routines. As it is right now, it covers 90% of what I do in the gym, which is enough for me. I can track my weights. It has options for supersets, I wish it had options for progressive overload sets and drop sets. But maybe those options would make the app too cluttered. It’s really a 5* app the way that it is.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-12-26, version 2022.13*

Highly recommend this

### 5/5 — Consistent fitness tracker, simple and effective

*2022-01-01, version 2021.06*

I’ve been using the app for a few years now and I like the clean interface and simplicity.

The only thing I really wish it had was interjection with apple health. The macros app does, which is nice.

### 5/5 — I love it (New User)

*2021-10-05, version 2021.05*

App is great in recording sets, weights and workouts. I love how big their data base is in regards of selecting workouts. The tutorial videos of the exercises are great. Overall, it’s an awesome app.

I’d suggest adding workout routines examples to help people switch up their workouts! That would be extremely beneficial.

### 5/5 — Great tracking

*2021-03-22, version 2021.02*

I love this app paired with the mymacros+ app. Between the two it’s all you need. Both are super easy and efficient to use. I would like a feature “copy to today”. I like to repeat a past workout and I usually go in and have to “save the day”. Then apply that to my current day. Would just be easier to copy to today. Just like the macro app. Please add this.

### 5/5 — Fantastica

*2020-12-06, version 2020.15*

App davvero fantastica!
Semplice e ben fatta.
Inoltre il servizio di assistenza via mail è davvero super!
Perfetta utilizzata insieme alla relativa app per il tracciamento dei macronutrienti mymacros+.

### 5/5 — Best fitness app!

*2020-02-09, version 2020.01*

Been body building 8 years.
Was using my fitness pal for 7 years. This app blows it out of the water.

To the developer.
Some tips, it would be nice to have a stats page of lifts under one page. To see where we are lacking.

Also if we could also add reps and sets in from a quick add from holding the icon. That would be great!

### 5/5 — Great customer service

*2019-10-19, version 4.0.13*

I had an issue with the app crashing when trying to add a workout . Contact support about it and I got a response a day later with an update and a fix. Fantastic service.

### 5/5 — Ok but Limited list

*2019-08-27, version 4.0.9*

I have to add my own custom exercises often. The list is bare bones basic. I literally had to add shoulder raise to the list. I like that it keeps track of your improvements.

### 5/5 — My favorite fitness app

*2018-11-05, version 4.0.3*

Not only does this easily track volume and let you put workouts together, but easily adding/creating new exercises? Picking muscle group, muscle, and equipment used? Love it. I’ll put together a potential workout day say leg day save the 10 exercises label it leg day and boom set for months. I can easily add weights reps and change accessory exercises quickly
