## What is MyAlarm iFob Control?

NOTE:
This app requires a compatible security system and an interactive MyAlarm service plan to function.  
Contact your MyAlarm Registered Installer to discuss service plans and options before downloading the app.

DESCRIPTION: 
The MyAlarm iFob Control app provides real time control and feedback of compatible, IP enabled alarm systems. 

Users can arm and disarm areas, control outputs and doors, view system troubles and alarm system history as required.  
Multiple sites are supported allowing easy interface to your home, office and holiday house etc if required, and all events performed via the app are recorded in the system history log for easy auditing. All user restrictions configured on the panel are enforced by the app meaning app users can only control areas and doors they have access to on the system. Selected MyAlarm service plans include the ability to report alarm events via push notification and email.

Each site can be configured for 10 iFob Control users and various app functions can be restricted by the system owner if required giving them total control. 
If you are in doubt how to set these options contact your MyAlarm Registered Installer for assistance.

COMPATIBILITY:
The iFob app is currently only compatible with the panels listed below.  
Most older version panels can be upgraded to meet the firmware requirements by your alarm installer.
If you do not have one of the systems listed then do not download the app.

* Bosch - Solution 144 Alarm Panel  (via firmware upgrade to Solution 6000 v2.25 and higher)
* Bosch - Solution 6000 Alarm Panel  (v2.25 and higher)
* Bosch - Solution 6000-IP Alarm Panel  (v3.00 and higher)
* Digiflex - Vision-X Alarm Panel (v2.25 and higher)
* Digiflex - Vision-XIP Alarm Panel (v3.00 and higher)

IP CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS:
   * CM751 Ethernet module (v2.16)
   * CM745 3G Radio module
   * CP741 Wi-Fi Enabled Graphic Keypad
   * CP737 Wi-Fi Enabled 3.5" Graphic Keypad

REQUIREMENTS: 
For the iFob Control app to function your system needs to meet the compatibility requirements listed above.  
Your system needs to have been installed and configured for MyAlarm services and you will need to sign up for a MyAlarm service plan with your installer.  

Contact your MyAlarm installer for more information regarding your alarm system configuration and MyAlarm service plan options.

Not sure if it’s their server’s issues, but every time I arm/disarm the alarm in my home using shortcut, it takes 5-10 seconds to complete. But at least I’m thankful that it does support shortcut, so that I don’t have to deal with its decades old looking subpar UI. Really, it looks like it was made in MS paint, you guys need to do something about it.

### 3/5 — Siri Shortcuts for Displaying Armed/Disarmed Status

Rather than open the app, I use widgets based on Siri Shortcuts to Arm or Disarm and this works fine. I receive notification to confirm system is Armed or Disarmed. 
But it would be better to also see Armed or Disarmed status on widget. Currently none of the Siri Shortcuts exposed by iFob app return status. 
For my Yale smart door lock, Yale actually provides a good widget with both control & status combined. Something similar for iFob would be excellent.

Completely useless app, constantly sending messages “portal unavailable “ it’s rubbish do not buy it, the installer said app is based in AU and is no problem at all but it’s not true.
