It’s ugly and cumbersome to use ### 3/5 — Not great *2025-09-28, version 4.5* Not sure if it’s their server’s issues, but every time I arm/disarm the alarm in my home using shortcut, it takes 5-10 seconds to complete. But at least I’m thankful that it does support shortcut, so that I don’t have to deal with its decades old looking subpar UI. Really, it looks like it was made in MS paint, you guys need to do something about it. ### 2/5 — Please update this app *2025-03-11, version 4.5* App is super outdated and honestly is a big eyesore, but it works somewhat. ### 3/5 — Siri Shortcuts for Displaying Armed/Disarmed Status *2024-08-25, version 4.4* Rather than open the app, I use widgets based on Siri Shortcuts to Arm or Disarm and this works fine. I receive notification to confirm system is Armed or Disarmed. But it would be better to also see Armed or Disarmed status on widget. Currently none of the Siri Shortcuts exposed by iFob app return status. For my Yale smart door lock, Yale actually provides a good widget with both control & status combined. Something similar for iFob would be excellent. ### 4/5 — Works well.. *2023-06-22, version 4.0* …would be improved by having time based triggers eg. Desperately seeking security ### 3/5 — The App works great *2023-06-06, version 4.0* I initially had a problem connecting to the panel with the app, however after immediate help from the developer I was advised that i simply needed to update my panel to fix the problem. Now I’ve updated it, the app works perfectly. Thanks again James Jones and the team from My Alarm. ### 3/5 — Wifi connection issues. *2022-10-05, version 3.18* Every time the wifi restarts (black outs or me resetting the wifi modem) the panel has issues connecting to the app. The error message ‘panel unavailable’ is displayed. It’s annoying as I have to organise for the alarm installer to come out and reset the panel for me again. I when no problem using the panel to arm and disarm manually. I the app also feels very outdated, can you please give the option of muting when it’s armed and disarmed etc, it was a novelty at first but now I find it irritating. ### 2/5 — Meh *2022-03-09, version 3.14* Ok but I’d happily pay for a version that did more and intergraded with Siri. And could we please have an option to turn *off* the voice announcements entirely? I want to stop notifications for category TST messages. Unsure if it was an Apple issue or a app issue. Started working correctly around ten days after install. Much better. I suspect it was an Apple software issue as began working as designed after latest software update from Apple. Very confusing when two or more people controlling. It will show an incorrect area status. Contrary to this release note- connection to panel is worst ever. Totally garbage release. ### 1/5 — No support *2019-11-11, version 2.26* Be warned, this system relies on you getting service from the installer, and can you imaging them returning your call 12 months later. I cant get a return call and the app company don’t care. Find another installer is the answer from them, but to do that they need to come on site and re Programer it under there account, and yes they charge for that. You need to have control and not be stuck using an installer who may not be around tomorrow. Very poor help from the developer.
